Songs from THE DOCTOR came alive a lot more on the stage than in the studio; thank you for sharing another '86 show with us. I prefer this to the '87 tail end of the tour post where the '86 songs had already been phased out. The sound is AMAZING!
Mr. Carlos! I can't tell you how much I love these posts/concerts! You are the "King of Swing"!!! I wish all of you would embrace FORGIVENESS! It costs nothing and is a free gift. Not for us, the fans, but for all 4 of you. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!777✌️💙🙏✝️👍💯😇
I believe I saw the guys on this tour?... Los Angeles, with a virtually unknown band called "Guns n' Roses" opening. We were front and center, and the crowd wouldn't stop pushing forward. The barricade finally collapsed and we were immediately buried. Bun E. stopped the show. I couldn't hear or see anything, buried underneath a sea of bodies. Then, suddenly, I saw a pinprick of light through the wiggling masses on top of us... In the light, I saw a face I thought I recognized...... Yelling.... it was....... Bun E. Carlos, shouting at the crowd to move back. Bun saved us, and our Doctor sweatshirts lol
@@cheaptrickfanatic3496 Yep! Just slightly to the left of Robin. I wanted to be in front of Rick’s set up. So probably in the same area as you. What amounted to the first row or two! What a night. Seems like yesterday!
God it's hideous. Ah well, it was '86. I must say Tod's backing vocals are a good blend with Robin's. I always like this song. A bit Small Faces or something.
If you ever sang on a stage with amplification you would know some time you can't hear your self sing over the loud guitars and drums. You have to trust the sound man for stage monitors.
I'll never understand why the chorus of Tonight It's You is the one song part Robin can't seem to nail live. The "fall into" and "tonight it's you" part just goes off the rails a little. Not so bad here but every recording I sort of cringe at that part. Other than that he's unbelievably amazing.
Excellent! I saw this tour. Very underestimated album
Wow "On Top of The World" just kills it here, I love it!!! 🎶
Always thought The Doctor deserved a better fate. But then again, I'm one of those wierdos who loves Up the Creek! Thanks Bun for the music.
Love Stop This Game … underrated
are you lonely tonight sounds so good
They are so squirrelly - - in a good way!
@milkocaceres3044 that song always sounds great live.
Amazing that just on my i-phone speaker I can clearly differentiate from bass drum and bass on this bootleg.
Which means amazing speaker and amazing recording.
And amazing drum kit, and drummer, and the crew, and the drum mic set-up. Same to the bass counterparts.
The name of the venue was Autographs. Great old theater and even better show!!
Great set. Anyone else notice that Robin starts singing "Smile Away" during the On top of the world middle section?

I was at that show too! Up in the front row. I remember all that you wrote about! Fender’s in Long Beach!
@@dukeofkbs Dude! You must have been right next to me. Inwas directly in front of Alx/Robin. Yep! Small world!

I love The Doctor. Saw you guys on this tour with Ratt and Poison. Thank you!!
Was at this show
Amazing...thank you!!
Thanks Bun and Steve.
those Doctor songs are fantastic. The Production, is not. A stripped version would prove so. Thanks for all the music.
Thanks again Bun.
Standing on the Edge .....drums at 38:55 fantastic
Thx Bun!
The German count off for IWYTWM is always a nice and weird touch
What are they doing to Bun E's snare during the verses of "Tonight it's You"?
It’s an “effect” to make it sound like the studio version….

He sang that song with NO monitors!

Who told the keyboard player there's not supposed to be keyboards?
I fine with it. Sometimes these recordings have the keyboards so out front in the mix, it's distracting
spoke to soon, keyboards come in way too loud in the mix later in the set

I agree dont think I ever a good live version of tonight its you. When everything live is better that the record
