A good alternator puts out 14.7 volts... any lower, it’s definitely done... always check the regulator or if you’d rather, you can get a new (or used, your pick).. otherwise any other electronics left on at idle will pull it down... from the looks of it, his battery may have a bad cell.

Question, my ELM327 arrived in ADHOC mode (stupid) for 6 years i would use it searching non stop for an STN or Infrastructre mode or Version of the product, one day i decided to see if port 80 is open , it was (HTTP GUI), i switched it to Station mode, i entered SSD, Encryption (WPA2PSK CCMP) and the key ( even kept a screen shot) the ELM327 connects a few seconds to the AP and disconnects. I made sure the AP is set to the same Encryption type, and key... I even set a static/Fixed in the ELM327 .. Any tips? The unit is close to AP, tried many APs, legacy, wrt54g, dd-wrt. different channels. no go .

iPhone has a proprietary Bluetooth language. You will need a WIFI enabled OBD II to speak with stock iPhone. If you jailbreak your iPhone you can make it work. Before going through unnecessary Jailbreaking and ruining warranty of the iPhone to make it work with standard Bluetooth read up on the risks and how to avoid making mistatakes. Simplest way to get your iPhone to receive ecu information is to get a WIFI enabled OBD II scanner.

joao fretes Paulo I understood you're question, ask the people in services about the right correct numbers for injecting. And you have the option in you're Torque App to search some faults. Of try to Google search the correct numbers. Good luck
I have the same, this one is not the original elm327, but a chinese copy. It doesnt find my airbag fault code on my polo 9n 2004 model. also it doesnt connect on a couple other obd2 apps. it works with torque but some had success with other apps finding fault codes.
I purchased an OBD II Mini to use on my 2007 GMC Sierra 3500 6.6 diesel. I plugged in the unit, no lights came on on the unit, and the device does not show up in the Bluetooth list on either my Android phone or tablet. What should I do.
Found my problem. On my truck the OBD II socket is powered by the fuse for the cigar lighter. This fuse was out because I do not smoke. I replaced the fuse and everything works fine.
Get a Actron CP9680 code tester. It checks live, record, graphing, emissions readiness test, transmission test, ABS, SRS, oxygen sensor test, and MORE! It's well lit! Get 4 aaa batteries for under the rear cover. It comes in a black pouch. Get a Tom Tom One GPS wall-charging cable to check results in your home. Get a Tom Tom One GPS cigarette lighter cable to run it in the car. Get a USB cable for it to update it. EBAY has them.
In my case, elm327 + torquepro dont give much infomration. Some fault codes that you got to search thru the web to see what they mean (moreover you arent sure if its showing the correct fault codes). For the rest, it doesn't read many useful infomration. Dashcommand (another app) manges to get more information.

I bought one of these, it works great.....on every car BUT mine, I can't understand why my 2000 Dodge Intrepid won't connect the ECU. Tried a dozen apps from windows to android (torque) and all connect to the device, but then runs thru a number of protocols, then locks up (all LED's on device stay on) after running thru about 6-7 protocols Have tried neighbors, friends cars..all work great...I'm pissed...lol Haven't tried it on another intrepid

The one i bought in ebay is Vgate iCar2 Wi-Fi (not blutooth) obd 2 dongle. I think Torque connects using my Samsung S5 using blutooth and not wifi. May i know which android app can i use?

What car are you trying it on? Pre-08 GM (GM of course being any Pontiac, Buick, gmc, Daewoo, Cadillac, Suzuki, and possibly Ford I think) and it won't work, but if its anything else then you shouldn't have this problem. And I've completely given up on these cheap amazon obds, I got a legit one for xmas. $70 at Canadian Tire

Well there is one thing a lot new of obd users seem to forget, and that is that you must have the key in the "on" also know as the "acc" position. The car can't be running, but you need to have power to the accessories for the obd to be able to connect to the ecu. Try that of you haven't already, and keep me posted
Mario Garcia if it blinks then it means you should stop the engine immediately and inspect what is wrong. Continuing driving the car will hurt the engine, as why the engine light is blinking

Ur charging system is developing a problem. At idle should be 13.5-15 volts. Cool video too!!!
During startup i noticed he has a weak batery, probably because of charging issues

put this in my camry 98, works fine, they have heaps of delay tho. i bought mine off ebay for $4 they're fun but don't expect anything amazing

You need an ELM327 with wifi to use with Iphone. Doesn't work with any bluetooth ELM327 on iphone. Just android.

Why isn't the 1996 Ford Ranger listed as one of the vehicles?
OBD2 was introduced in 1996, so some cars released in early 1996 may not have it.
If it has an OBD2 port, this device should still work.

Hmm...did you turned the ignition ON? Or tried to connect while engine is running?

Mozes li mi reci u cemu je problem na Fiat 1.9 jtd, ne prikazuje mi realno broj obrtaja, odnosno kada vozilo radi na leru pokazuje oko 220-230 rpm.
A kad das gas malo? Uf stvarno nzm...jel si upisao koje ti vozio I detalji vozila u aplikaciji?
Kad dam gas obrtaji rastu al opet ne srazmjerno, unio sam podatke o vozilu. Jbg. nemam pojma...
