Using an ELM 327 Mini Diagnostic Scanner To Clear ECU Fault Codes

How to clear the fault codes on your OBD2 compliant vehicle using an ELM 327 Mini bluetooth diagnostic scanner tool with the Torque Pro Smartphone App. This process just clears the error codes but if you haven’t actually fixed the problem, the codes will reappear. I have this little gadget but unfortunately my car is not OBD 11 Compliant but it is useful to use on newer cars.From the array of Fault Codes displayed on your car , were you able to pin down the the fault? Thanks for sharing.i am still trying to keep up with your recent uploads.Recently had to look at some of yourt Micra K11 Vids to refresh my knowledge to undertake a couple of jobs on the car.Glad i did.Best Wishes M

That's a pity. When I checked the fault for Peugeot it seems to suggest pre-heat circuit (glow plugs) problem, although it starts and runs fine

Can you tell me what's the difference between that OBD port and the standard one, because i think it's something that is slept on and there are not much info about it , also i was wondering if you need an adapter to connect the ELM327 scanner to that kind of port ?

If it asks for a pin number it'll probably be '1234' or '0000'
