Thank You very much for this reaction. The Alexander theater session suits my ears much better too. I can recommend ”Rebirth” from the same session and the music video for ”Where do we draw the line ”. Beautiful songs!
You're very welcome. I too really enjoy the Alexander Theater version more. I will definitely check out both of those as well, thanks so much for the suggestions
Every video from Alexander Theater Sessions is absolutely perfect if you want fully acoustic version. If you want the version with original instruments for each song, then these are not the correct choice. I would always recommend checking both original album release and the Alexander Theater Sessions version. For this specific song, I much prefer the version from Alexander Theater Sessions.
that was rather beautiful, wasn't it? i enjoy the album version just fine, but the theatre session was just on another level. his voice just... soars. and absolutely stellar piano, my god. i got goosebumps at the same time you did!
There is eleven other ”diamonds” on Alexander Theatre Sessions to check out if you want more shivers. I also suggest ”Hello Cabaret” from their last album Ghostlight.
They give Avi a run for giving a song different interpretations. They are both very good. I prefer the second. And your reaction never disappoint. 👍👍♥♥🎶🎶♥♥👍👍🥰
Thank you for the double reaction to this amazing song. I had never heard the original so thank you for the introduction. Please do another double reaction for a song called Lift. First the live version from the Moscow concert in 2013 and then the Alexander Theater Sessions version. Totally worth the time. Also very different versions of a wonderful song.
You're very welcome. Oooh, that is an excellent suggestion. Double feature Live then Alexander Theater Session of Lift. I am absolutely going to do that. Thank you very much
If it's not my favourite...it's one of them, for sure (the second). And i will say to listen one of their last album (Ghostlight) that's it's Hello Cabaret. ;)
btw, I think a great artist doesn't simply copy a song they wish to cover, but they make it their own turning it into something fresh and different. If you liked what they did here covering one of their own songs you should check out their acoustic version of Adele's "Rolling In The Deep". 😉
Marko's a 70's baby, and it is obvious that quite a bit of the electronic/pop music of the 80`s that he listened to in his teenage years still influences their sound today. Clearview for instance is an album with a considerable 80's vibe, but even newer songs like Revelations and Firedancer from the album Ghostlight show that kind of influence. Marko's a fan of the 80's band Enigma, but the studio version of Angel actually reminds me of Erasure whenever I hear it. Very cool that you're doing both versions back to back, and in the right order, saving the best for last. I do like the studio version for the poppy 80's throwback feeling the music gives me. However, the Alexander Theatre version is pure ear candy and I think it is only in that version that you realize what the lyrics really are about. I enjoyed watching this, thank you for another great double-reaction video. 😊👍
You're very welcome, and thank you for your thoughts about it as well. Lot of great influences here indeed, and the 80's does shine through on several of their songs and I love it. For the songs that have an Alexander Theater Sessions version I'll make sure to always to that one last, it hasn't failed me so far
You need to check all the songs in the Alexander Theatre sessions😄👍 they are awesome ❣️thanks again for your great reaction😊
You're very welcome. I will definitely work my way through the entirety of Alexander Theater Sessions
@@ThalesMusicCorner War... from those Alexander T would be nice

They are really great, and as you say the Alexander Theatre Session was next level. Absolutely amazing, I love it

And "Beyond The Horizon", the final track of Ghostlight! Goosebumps!
I'm definitely checking all of the Alexander Theatre Sessions, and Hello Cabaret is on the list

I’m glad ❤️❤️
These were two very different versions indeed. I also prefer the second ☺️☺️

@@-breakofdawn- well..yes..that one too :D
Awesome suggestions, they have been noted.
I was waiting for this, and this was so good. Lovely reaction & band. Thank you again, you´re great!
You're very welcome. I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)
It was so great indeed
💖💖💖
You need to check out the song "Brighter than the Sun" as well as "War" (Alexandre Theater ver.) underrated bangers in my opinion. 😄
I'll absolutely check them out. It'll be very cool to see what they do with War acoustically like that.

Oh I absolutely have to check that out. I can't imagine how they'll do it, but it's probably going to be awesome
😍❤🤘😍
