Always nice to see this kind of PotF-appreciation! And I agree with lady, there is something very 80ish in this song.

Downtown Helsinki near the harbour, yes. It looks like his route starts down Aleksanterinkatu, then on to Kauppatori (market square) by the waterfront. There's one 360 degree shot there around him when you see the ferris wheel, Uspenski cathedral, the presidential palace, and Esplanadi park with Havis Amanda, if you look closely. The end shot looks like he's walking down Ateneuminkuja from the direction of Mikonkatu. If you check google maps of downtown Helsinki, it should be easy to find. In the French version, the route is a bit different, but still in the same (relatively small) area. I wonder how long he had to walk around there; judging by the colour of their noses it was pretty cold, possibly shortly before the first snow that year.

It is downtown Helsinki shown in the video. Kauppatori and the city hall are definitely places that I recognize.

Very familiar places for me, almost on a daily bases. The video was shot down town Helsinki. Alexander street, and the streets near by.
5:33 President's Castle. The president does not live there, but in Mäntyniemi, which is quite modern. The President's Castle was built in around 1820, by a merchant, the richest man in Finland at the time. A few decades later it became the "Finland residence" of the Russian tsar/czar. Finland was part of Russia at that time. Sometimes they have an open door day for visitors. Long queue to get in.
5:48 City Hall. My late father was a lawyer, he worked there as a deputy mayor of city planning and real estate.
6:32 Uspenski Cathedral, Russian Orthodox. Very bling, bling, gold, ikons. Lutheran churches are very modest in comparison.
The sugar cube of a building is the headquarters of Stora Enso, originally paper and board company, now renewable packaging, bio materials, wooden construction company. Many hate the building, saying it's in the wrong place.
6:43 The Market Place, enpty at night
7:42 The view along Siltasaarenkatu, (Bridge Island Street), towards the city centre, where the rest of the video was filmed. The drone footage was shot about a mile north of the city centre. To the right of Siltasaarenkatu, on the bottom of the picture, you see a black roof of a building. My apartment is exactly under the left hand corner of the roof. The footage looks as if it was filmed from the balcony of the Kallio Churc tower. They claim you can see Tallinn Estonia, on the other side of the Bay Of Finland, from the tower, if the weather is optimal. The distance is about 35 miles. I visited the tower balcony as a boy, with the children's club of the local congregation. It was not open for visitors until this summer. The stairs inside the tower were not safe enough for visitors.
6:35 Ferris Wheel by the Allas Sea Pool. There's a sauna in one of the gondolas of the wheel. Allas Sea Pool has saunas, swimming pools, one is filled with sea water. Open around the year. In summer they have outdoor pop/rock concerts there. Mostly Finnish bands, but Beth Hart was on stage a few weeks ago. I saw Steve'n'Seagulls there, Covid time, one of the few places that was having concerts at that time. With reduced capasity I think it was, for not spreading the virus.
    Have a great day!

That song kind of remined me of Lee Ritenour (can't remember which song) that I used to listened back in mid 80's. That church you spotted on is the Uspensky Chatedral, largest orthodoxian church in western europe.
