Hello from another person who as a child liked to play with sticks and puddles. What you said about not understanding what engineering meant resonated with me so much despite having family members who were engineers. Up until about year 8/9, I genuinely though being an engineer was just another form of a construction worker and now I realise that it is so much more interesting and advanced and the naturally progression for being the kid trying to get the muddy stick across the puddle with waves. Although ball point pens seem to be my issue nowadays - when I get bored in class I deconstruct them into as many pieces as possible before putting them back together again.
This is great, engineers are in massive oversupply and are getting cheaper to hire 😎. Keep feeling inspired so I can continue to line my pockets with the marketable outputs of your hard work.
Yes I don’t have the motivation to study. So I’d rather watch this so that maybe I can get inspired
you do not need motivation, discipline is a better ally
Set a goal, not for anyone else but yourself, you study for you, not for anyone else, is your future, think about that...
Watching this as I procrastinate studying... Time to get back to work.
@@pinpoint0 same i also did

This is a great inspirational talk which should motivate both girls and boys to take up engineering.

They design things like the phone or computer you use or the car you drive. Everything that is man made that we use every day Without them who knows?
