Brandon, that is one pretty shop! Boy was it put up quick too, in fact the whole thing took a lot less than I had expected. Now the real work begins, filling in the different plans you have, and sorting out where you want plugs and sockets and welder points etc. When you've done that, the hard work to fit it out with tools, stock, spares, supplies all those little things you forgot you needed... It went up fast i think it would have went up even faster if the weather would have cooperated yes there were some very hot days that slowed the guys down which was fine id rather see them work slower and not over heat than have health complications.... and yes the work begins now the electrical and plumbing is the fun part I'm excited to get moved in and working in it!! We built the shop before the house, too. It made sense at the time to have place to keep supplies for the house out of the weather until the needed them.

Speaking from a contractor's perspective, I'll bet they're happy that you can't stick around every day. Even though you are a nice guy it's still puts out of pressure on the people doing the work
you can hear how excited you are for your new shop.congrats it looks amazing.why not think about putting mini splits in for heat and a/c instead of the wall unit.
I didnt do heated floor my fear is if something were to happen with the heavy equipment and the floor gets broken and a tube gets broke then your with out heat until you can fix it
Why did they try to deliver it to your parents place? The order should have been to "your" property. Is your business and financial stuff thanks to your folks?
Because at the time when the builder and I sat and wrote up a contract on my building that was going to be built on my property that did not have a mailbox or a address yet I used or business address that is at my parents so there was a address to send the contract and estimate to and my builder accidentally used their address instead of mine that I now have after getting all my permits.....so sorry you cant sit there and say this is daddy's money
