Could watch you two all day....Even when your doing nothing special you two have a a very relaxing effect on me. Maybe because you remind me of my dad working, keep up the work lads..😃
Thanks for the film. Good decision to get shot of the Porsche. I could tell neither of you were that interested in it but sent it off in better shape than when you first got it anyway
The reason the car engine went off and then started when cold its a bad Crankshaft position sensor. Porsche is done and out the way, the best thing you done. I agree with only short projects, what people sometimes lack to understand is that is business and you can't afford to loose money. Chris we need some videos in that fence you working in the background, we could ear the grinder in the video haha😂
I had a real deja vu looking at that painting. Mum and dad are staying at the hotel at Portloe in a couple of weeks. I took them down there last week as it looked a bit of a challenge to find and get to so they could have a nicer journey. Bit of a squeeze getting their Alhambra into the car park and the roads were tight for the last mile but it looks a stunning little spot to spend a couple of days. :)
That was definitely the right decision on the Porsche. Glad you got out of it without penalising yourselves. Office looks fantastic and look forward to the next vid 👍🏻
Hi rob&chris why do so many people comment on your clothes and footwear and what you should do with the money you find I can remember when you we’re giving cars away to people to help them out I think whoever try’s to tell you what to do should think again and when you make a profit on a car you share it with josh how many people do what you do it shows you were both brought up well with top parents great channel keep doing what your doing it’s working well 😊
Yeah, Rob + Chris have 'Values' Something that is sadly lacking in today's society... Let alone the car trade 🤣 Not only would they not knowingly knock out a bad car, the giveaways and help that the guys give to places like Demelza House (a hospice for kids) shows the true strength of the channel
Psm stands for porsche stability management. It's like traction control but allows a little slide etc. It's quite a bit of kit and was a optional extra on the 986 boxsters.
Hello Rob and Chris, I think you have made the right decision. Office does look nice as others have said a few plants would look good. Good news re the LSE. Short term projects are the way forward for you guys I think. Sorry you lost the van. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video.
I love Porsche, had my first one 36 years ago. I was more excited about the Peugeot van. Seeing the bitsa Porsche in the background in recent videos was giving me the hump. Well done chaps
Don't sell the lse!!!! We've all put a lot of time watching this project. Please see it through, I know its dragged on but please we've all waited patiently. Much love to the channel ❤
now listen to me young fella a bulb grows tulips or daffodills......its a lamp.....and wing mirrors existed on ford wings when i was born......1964.......love youre vids they make me smile and learn at the same time
Best decision made about the porche guys, Chris didn't seem as interested in it. Another car leaves the SR workshop. Well done Rob for Another fantastic video.
You did well getting out of that 911, I was curious to see if it was going to be as bad as we were all saying, and it was looking likely. On to the next one.
Evening Rob & Chris 😊 That office is absolutely lovely 👍🏻 What a fantastic decision Rob on the German money pit Porsche 🙄 You both certainly make Salvage Rebuilds as fresh as it can be 😊
Well done fellas as long as you didn't lose any money on it that is the main thing 👏 the new office looks mint. Chris will Sharp fill his loose change jar 😊stay lucky and healthy looking forward to the next project and video 📹,
Good decision there rob I think we all know where you are coming from with no long term projects I’m the same if I had the time and space I would snap up the lse and have In my collection looking forward to the next one
Absolutely brilliant video, as always!! Thank you both very much. I definitely think you both made the right decision regarding the Porsche. Absolutely love the office, stunning work!! Hope you both have a brilliant weekend with your families ☀️😎😎 Take care guys 👍
Regarding the Cornwall picture, who remembers the advert, think it was for yellow pages with the old man called J A Hartley. Just reminded me of that advert😊😊😊
I know I'm never going to get hearted for this comment, but I'm really glad to see the back of this tarted up old beetle with two extra cylinders stuck on it. In the past I've worked on them from time to time and driven the odd one (aren't they all odd?) but frankly those Porsche contraptions just leave me cold; there's far better "performance cars" out there.....
I agree with all points Rob. Removing the spoiler and stickers w ill make no difference to value. I think you have made the right decision to 'send it back'. That oil leak could be a sign of something more serious to come. I did still enjoy both videos though so thank you Rib and Chris for sharing this adventure.Shame about the Van but there are plenty more fish in the sea. 🐟 👍👍
Good decision your well out of it. Prefer the bread and butter stuff quick easy turn around with parts at reasonable prices. But as usual a good honest video can't wait for the next one. As usual guys thank you for your hard work.
I thought you were going to say the artist was J R Hartley 😂taking me back to the old yellow pages advert😂😂probably made the right decision on yhe porsche tbh and as long as you didn't loose its a win I suppose,I did laugh as Rob asking Chris if he had anything to add and Chris is busy with his paperwork thinking I don't give a toss Rob no🙈🤣🤣good idea on the guess the amount of money in the jar to win a bit of merch would be good🙂👍
Brilliant glad to see you get it moved on good plan to move it on let some one put out some love into it Thats got the time to fettle with it Porsche ain’t really my thing not a lover of the Porsche love the new portrait in office 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😁😁😁
Great decision lads. A more interesting Porsche video would be a genuine 996z Great car on a budget. I’m sure an IMS bearing change would be well within your abilities - provided the right tools are on hand. Has to be manual and coupe though.
I've owned Porsches and love them, but I would not be caught dead in this poser GT3. Good decision to dump it and I'm glad you got out of it without losing money. Keep up the good work and I really enjoy your channel. Always amazed at how you can look through the bent metal and see the great vehicle underneath.
Wrecklika 😂😂😂 that’s as far as I’ve got in the video so far. I have to stop laughing before I resume playing. Okay started again and fell over when you got ear protectors and the oil gauge didn’t know what day it was. Brilliant 😂😂
Good decision there chaps, who knows what other gremlins you might find in the Porker when you start looking, and I'll bet parts are quite punchy on price. Was worth a look and you've not taken a bath on it, what more can you ask? Good work as always lads.
Just catching up on a bunch of SRUK videos and I think you made the right call on this one. Yes its a lovely car, but I think you'd have been frustrated by parts prices and availability. There's probably a bunch of specialists and a bit of a "scene" with Porsche 911s for renovation and you'd have never achieved a decent price anyway.
*I thought it was going to be J A Hartley! I love a 911 but that was always going to be a gamble I reckon. Anyway, all the best from a gorgeous morning in Cornwall.*
Rob, remember that Ford Focus that used to breakdown then start up after it cooled off. And it turned out to be dry solder joints behind the speedo on the circuit. Wonder if the Porsche got similar issue?
Who laid the laminate floor in the office Rob it’s supposed to run the length of the room. If flooring is laid from side to side it makes the room feel much smaller. Just thought I would mention it in case you didn’t know.
Once again good video and totally understand moving it on, can I ask Chris what he stained the wood for the office in as I'm doing the same in my mancave and sanded it all but just would like to fetch out the colour and grain abit more in it 👍
Could watch you two all day....Even when your doing nothing special you two have a a very relaxing effect on me. Maybe because you remind me of my dad working, keep up the work lads..😃
Thanks for the film. Good decision to get shot of the Porsche. I could tell neither of you were that interested in it but sent it off in better shape than when you first got it anyway
Chris looks thoroughly engaged with the video as I am with Harry and Megan😂. Great paper shuffling and as always great video. Thanks chaps 👍🏼
If that porsche was a three wheeler Chris would be all over it
Chris looked cheesed off in this video.
The reason the car engine went off and then started when cold its a bad Crankshaft position sensor.
Porsche is done and out the way, the best thing you done. I agree with only short projects, what people sometimes lack to understand is that is business and you can't afford to loose money.

You did good Rob . Lots more work required. Great videos . Your quality of videos are so much better these days.

Something that is sadly lacking in today's society... Let alone the car trade 🤣
Not only would they not knowingly knock out a bad car, the giveaways and help that the guys give to places like Demelza House (a hospice for kids) shows the true strength of the channel
Hi Rob and Chris. The spoiler looks like it is the correct way round. It's an inverted aerofoil which gives downforce instead of uplift.
Well done Rob that would have been a money pit and a long time
So Well done guy's looking forward to the next one 👏
@20:20 Rob was hoping for a drink from the change jar 🤣🤣 love the channel
Psm stands for porsche stability management. It's like traction control but allows a little slide etc. It's quite a bit of kit and was a optional extra on the 986 boxsters.
Hello Rob and Chris, I think you have made the right decision. Office does look nice as others have said a few plants would look good. Good news re the LSE. Short term projects are the way forward for you guys I think. Sorry you lost the van. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video.
Totally the right decision lads made a days wage before it became a money pit, nice to have had a Porsche on the channel another box ticked 👏
Glad to see you made some sense on the ‘Porsche’ and got rid. Enjoyed as usual
Not just master machanics, a pair of honest bussinessmen,,
Top video guys 👍👍
Thanks for the update on the LSE..
You boys did the right thing to get it gone.
I love Porsche, had my first one 36 years ago. I was more excited about the Peugeot van. Seeing the bitsa Porsche in the background in recent videos was giving me the hump. Well done chaps
Hi Rob, thank you for doing the VoiceOver on timelapse. Much appreciated. 6:22 6:41 7:42

A nice plant would finish off the office nicely. Polperro is a lovely place.
Great video as always guys, thanks very much. The office looks fantastic👍
Fair call, fellas. Stick to what you do, loads of days messing around with the Porker doesn't make sense.
Would have made a good Wheeler Dealers project I think. Imagine seeing Brewer turn up to buy it off the lads 😀
Evening Rob & Chris 😊 That office is absolutely lovely 👍🏻 What a fantastic decision Rob on the German money pit Porsche 🙄 You both certainly make Salvage Rebuilds as fresh as it can be 😊
Well done Rob, this 911 would be a big money pit, great decision.
Keep up the great work as always! :D
I think a good move getting out of that one. Great video chaps👍
That cutting out when hot and restarting when it's cold sounds exactly like old petrol Rob.
Great video lads ,the Porsche was your choice ,end of , a pity you didn't get the van as i love your van videos , let's crack on !
Absolutely brilliant video, as always!! Thank you both very much. I definitely think you both made the right decision regarding the Porsche. Absolutely love the office, stunning work!! Hope you both have a brilliant weekend with your families ☀️😎😎 Take care guys 👍
Great decision on the Porsche Rob, shame you didn’t get that van. Excellent video as usual. ✊
Best thing for you guys, it seemed a pain and do not think either of you were smitten with it. Let an enthusiast sort it. 👍👍👍👍👍
Great get out Rob.
Followed you guys from the LSE days love the channel ❤
Regarding the Cornwall picture, who remembers the advert, think it was for yellow pages with the old man called J A Hartley. Just reminded me of that advert😊😊😊

Truely great video as usual 👍🏻🙌

Content's great, but if it don't make money, it don't make sense. Definitely the right move passing the car on to make way for faster turnarounds.
Good business sense guys 😊
Rob would be great at horse racing commentary after listening to him on the time lapse for the Porsche 😂
I am well chuffed, My guess was Looe for the location of the painting.
Yep - definitely the right decision on the Porsche. Shame about the van - but as the saying goes “you can’t win ‘em all!”
thankyou gentlemen, have a great weekend and see you in the next one,,👌👍
Correct way to go, always interesting your dealing. Art dealers perhaps !
I thought you were going to say the artist was J R Hartley 😂taking me back to the old yellow pages advert😂😂probably made the right decision on yhe porsche tbh and as long as you didn't loose its a win I suppose,I did laugh as Rob asking Chris if he had anything to add and Chris is busy with his paperwork thinking I don't give a toss Rob no🙈🤣🤣good idea on the guess the amount of money in the jar to win a bit of merch would be good🙂👍
Quit while your'e ahead ! What really amazes me is the amount of hits you get in such a short time ..........that proves how popular you are !
@Free salvage rebuilds Thanks guys ! ........but as a 70 year old l have no idea what this is.........stupid old fart !
Good decision on that Porsche, and love the office.
Brilliant glad to see you get it moved on good plan to move it on let some one put out some love into it Thats got the time to fettle with it Porsche ain’t really my thing not a lover of the Porsche love the new portrait in office 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😁😁😁
What a lovely van. If only . One day, keep at it guys :)
The temp thing you on about is the counting timer to starting the car.
I totally agree leave it alone alot of time and money spent doing these mods and someone will luv it ✌️😜👌
Good decision. I don’t think Chris’s heart was in it. Personally I couldn’t understand why it had a picnic table on the boot but each to their own.
Ironically this one had it installed to push it home when it got warm 🤣
That picnic table was for use when you're sat on side of road waiting for a tow truck every time you take it out?
Nah your all wrong its Robs Ironing board 🤣
@@paulbeecham8313 You might be right. Chris doesn’t seem to get as excited about ‘exotics’ as Rob. I don’t think Chris was a boy racer. But Rob …….?
@@mediocremike5986 still
He is with the tracksuit and hoodies at times lol
Rob you didn't buy a new second hand battery you brought a new new one !!!! Great content lads especially Chris and his change jar😂
J A Harding! Off the advert? Nice one lads, again. Cheers
Hi Rob and Chris, you have sold the Porsche,a nice looking car but needed work.more money for the next project.the SRUK office looks brilliant.
Great decision lads. A more interesting Porsche video would be a genuine 996z Great car on a budget. I’m sure an IMS bearing change would be well within your abilities - provided the right tools are on hand.
Has to be manual and coupe though.
I can imagine the keyboard warriors were getting primed up ready to comment on all that's incorrect on the car, then you said I'm selling it back 😂
great vid rob looking forward to the in and out vids
Just goes to show how much your tastes change I love a 911 but you’ve made a great decision to let it go guys 👍🏻🏴
I absolutely love this channel. You guys are legendary. A credit to 🇬🇧
Hi Rob and Chris best place for that car is the cruiser
Nice work mate you clear this Porsche trouble code in this Porsche
I've owned Porsches and love them, but I would not be caught dead in this poser GT3. Good decision to dump it and I'm glad you got out of it without losing money. Keep up the good work and I really enjoy your channel. Always amazed at how you can look through the bent metal and see the great vehicle underneath.
Rarely say this, but glad you’ve moved the Porsche on.
Wish I had the space and know how to take the LSE off of you.
Notification came in handy haha, waited so long for this one
Wrecklika 😂😂😂 that’s as far as I’ve got in the video so far. I have to stop laughing before I resume playing. Okay started again and fell over when you got ear protectors and the oil gauge didn’t know what day it was. Brilliant 😂😂
Makes sense guys , great job on the office👍..... keep em comin !
Hi Rob, you mention Tanya battery discount code in your video. Recently tried to use it but it wasn't recognised? Perhaps its just for you guys?
The correct decision lads, can't wait to see what's next.
Good decision there chaps, who knows what other gremlins you might find in the Porker when you start looking, and I'll bet parts are quite punchy on price. Was worth a look and you've not taken a bath on it, what more can you ask? Good work as always lads.

Some you win, some you get your dosh back. Have a great weekend guys.
Wise move to get the gt3 lookalike lol backhealed, bit of a money pit coming with that one, great work as always guy's 👍🏻 👌
Getting shot of the Porsche was definitely the right move imho guys…look forward to the next vid👍🇬🇧
That’s a very sensible decision
Rob, remember that Ford Focus that used to breakdown then start up after it cooled off. And it turned out to be dry solder joints behind the speedo on the circuit. Wonder if the Porsche got similar issue?
Deffo made the right decision on the Porsche guy's shame about the van have a great weekend 👌👌👌
A bit of a cop out…Was always good to see you do the hard yards….Would have been nice to see the final achievement…..
Smart move lads great video office looks brilliant 👍
I get that you guys are busy but it’s so disappointing to hear you aren’t going to finish the LSE. Loved that project
Another great video boys. Rob do you mind stating what the Tayna batteries promo code is? I can’t seem to locate it! Cheers!
Who laid the laminate floor in the office Rob it’s supposed to run the length of the room. If flooring is laid from side to side it makes the room feel much smaller. Just thought I would mention it in case you didn’t know.
That’s exactly how Chris wanted it
Once again good video and totally understand moving it on, can I ask Chris what he stained the wood for the office in as I'm doing the same in my mancave and sanded it all but just would like to fetch out the colour and grain abit more in it 👍
hey rob did you take the transit vent plugs out of the battery or may explode getting hot cutting out test crankshaft sensor
in faversham tomorrow ! standard quays ! great show !
Smart move with the Porsche Guys, nice one, two words come to mind, money and pit.
Best idea to get out of that Porsche 👍
Glad you never lost out on that one. When are we going to see the old "L" reg camper van getting finished lads.
Absolutely the right decision getting shut of the Porsche 👍🏼
Love the Office 👍
Rob and Chris. You boys are legends❤️
