IM BACK!! and not even all the way threw this video and you got me excited and I freaking knew you were gonna go all threw the sled. Dam did it clean up!! Ok I'm going back to watch the rest!! I'm excited for the season. I had two of my sleds running Sunday!!
Absolutely love the content, my son and I both ride early 2000 sleds so it's going to be fun to see you work on some of the older setups, keep up the good work
This is genius! Should be a ton of fun. We did a similar thing my buddy and I years ago with both purchasing 340 cc fan cool sleds it was an absolute gas ripping them around.
I can't even imagine what's gonna happen once we actually get out on trail with these things...I have a feeling next year the rules are gonna be a lot more restrictive lol
Get rid of those pod filters!!! Put the stock air box back in they like it a lot better, more consistent runability and performance. Might as well keep that boost bottle on. They boost bottle is supposed to equalize... Or something??? No one actually knows lol So excited for this stuff! Edge chassis are my golden era of sleds.
I don't have a stock airbox, kind of unfortunate but I have a plan to make a better intake system that'll actually get some cold air and not all the dirty hot air. Dr Google has quite the mixed reviews on the boost bottles, but it's on there so it's gonna stay haha. I'm pumped to tinker on this hotrod!
We're all definitely hoping for the winter we deserve this season! Even if it's lackluster again, these sleds wont care about low snow conditions if you know what I mean haha
I figure I'll make a simple setup with a new filter to get it actual cold/clean air instead of the current dirty air setup. All the mounting ears and bottle tabs for oil jug and what not are all modified now so I'm not sure what all would be needed to throw a stock box in it. She'll be just fine for what we're doing haha. I wouldn't mind getting measurements from a stock box as for how long the inner tubes are...if they even have any that is
I think it was just to try and keep someone from buying a really fast hopped up one and crushing everyone....but I almost think we're past that point already lol
I believe it was originally setup for the Jerry Rice snowdrag series or something similar. It feels geared short, time will tell once I get some time to yank the case apart.
@@MunsonMotorsports I wouldn't be surprised if the changed the drivers , a lot of people change them when they put long paddle tracks on plus the gear reduction, my guess top speed the way it's set up now 60 to 70 mph max
Everyone keeps saying this as if I was the one to do these little filters, I don't have a stock airbox to put on it lol. This was also before I cleaned the carbs. Part 2 should be out later next week!
I bet those short grass ride where the best, the wind, the exhaust, the thrill !!! F yeah !!!
Looking forward to this series!! Should be awesome!!
STOKED for winter, I hope VT gets absolutely hammered this season. We need it!
We sure do need it, not even just the sled community, the state as a whole needs a good winter. Fingers crossed!
SOLD! very excited to see the challenge!
Looking good guys, should be a lot of fun!

I definitely would get the original air box for it makes a huge difference

I already feel like I'm gonna end up riding this thing way more than anticipated haha. The simplicity and raw fun factor is off the charts!
@@MunsonMotorsports 100% I ride old school stand up jet skis in the warm seasons, simple 2-stroke engines

Looks like you have the SLP boost bottle for the reeds , someone used that for either mountain riding or hill climbing

The viper is too clean for this! Lol
It's definitely on the upper end of the scale haha. I can't control what these goobers buy!
@@MunsonMotorsports haha! All jokes, cool sled tho. Excited to watch
Its cool to see the areas I Know on a YT channel, I wish the Northeast would get a lot more snow!!

Get an airbox for it, it'll run much better ,I have a fleet of 98-03 XCs,you definitely got one of the best possible sleds for your rule set.

Going to the grass drags this weekend in epping?
Sure am! Headed down tomorrow morning (Friday) and will be there Saturday as well. If you see me make sure to say hi!
A pantera 1000 would have been awesome!
Wild you say that...there were definitely a couple people looking at those but I don't think any have been able to lock one in
Are you going to the NH grass drags next weekend?
You know it! The swap meet better look out this year!
I use a fuel line from Napa
Why no firecats?

That Polaris probably geared for hill climbing

Sounds like your sled and the Yamaha need carb cleaning and tune up
Put the air box back on it u can tell it fumbles with those stupid hot air intakes
