SEESTERN Vs. RMALTI | 62mas Homage Battle | The Watcher
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 лют 2023
- The Seestern has won consistently against all the AliExpress 62MAS homage opponents. How does it fare against the new comer from Rimalti?
Note: I don't know where the price confusion came in, it showed £146 when I looked at time of producing video, however, Seestern is now £175, same as the Rimalti!

Bought the Seestern after watching your comparison between the Seestern and the San Martin. The Seestern is probably the best overall 62mas Homage out there in my opinion.
Bought the Seestern ages ago, and have not seen anything that would make me want to swap.
Love these comparison videos, looking forward to the next.
Both are very nice watches, but I prefer the Seestern. I have a couple of their watches and they are excellent. Great comparison Zee. Thank you my friend.
Seestern all the way, for me. Would buy it over the Rmalti even if the prices were the other way around. Great comparison review.
I've got the seestern, definitely one of my favourite Ali express watches. Nice comparison as always! 👍
Great comparison as always mate
Great comparison
A good comparison video, thanks for your input Zee.
62mas definitely is a cashcow for seestern. I own one and feel quite satisfied for my search for a 62mas. Even the bezel lume is white printed well.
Nice review with great aff links.
Excellent comparison Zee, hard to choose, plusses for both watches. Love the colour and texture of that rmalti dial.
The Seestern is definitely a much better value proposition and a quality watch. Gotta love that textured dial in the Rmalti though… Seestern, more dial options and they could get 100% of the sales! 😊
I'd love a Seestern 62MAS in gilt and black or brown.
Fantastic comparison, Zee! They both look excellent, especially the Seestern. I just wish one of them releases a 62MAS with a shorter effective L2L length (including the male end links). I’d snap one up in a heartbeat.
You want an even shorter l2l?
@@TheWatcherReviews L2L isn´t the issue, those end links are the problem, they are long (and very ugly). If they makes it with female end links would be a lot better for me, I got the Seestern that´s something I really don´t like.
@@igorR061 yeh its hard work trying to get proper FEL on the 62mas bracelet. As far as I know the Armida is the only one who did this
@@TheWatcherReviews I meant effective L2L, completely missed that word! The effective L2L with the male end links just doesn't work on my wrists.
The Seestern gets my vote. Wraps around wrist and has reasonable number of micro adjust.
Very interesting comparison. I prefer the Seestern as well.
Thanks for the video.
Great review. I think the bracelet is worth more then 1 point when judging. The bracelet is half the watch it’s one of the biggest selling points at first look. Let me know how you feel.
This was a concise scoring, so a point for each element. Either way the rmalti bracelet would have won this
I have the Rmalti one cause I like the brushed bezel like the spb143. However, the bezel action is awful. I don't think it's even a 120-click. It's more like 90-clicks. Do you have any tip of how to improve the bezel action?
For me Seestern found the golden ratio with the dial and indices , I do like the larger crown and bezel thickness of the RMLTI . Can't go wrong with either one really considering Seiko 5's are way more expensive with no sapphire no screw down crown cheaper bracelet and hollow end links for double the Seestern current price
I have my heimdallr already but if I didn't id go with the seestern the look and dimensions are just right. I do like the hour indecies on the rmalti better though.
Seestern all the way
Thanks for the video. I prefer the Seestern. Price and looks alone. Cheers!!
Rmalti never again. I bought a Rmalti watch from the global Store. After 5 weeks the movement die not hold time any more. No Help from the Store. So I informed PayPal. They stopped payments and global Store promised to send a new movement. They never did. That is the last time I bought a Rmalti. Would take the Seestern!!!!
Sorry for your bad luck. I haven't had any issues mystery. Fingers crossed! But it's very easy to get a Seiko NH movement locally and they're not expensive. A friend of got a dud NH35 in a Steeldive. He let the store and Ali Express know, he got his movement locally here and had a watchmaker install it. He got the costs of the job refunded. It might be the way to go if it happens again, because that can happen to anyone. I had a problem with a Seiko that had a broken movement but it was fixed under Seiko warranty. There is no guarantee that you won't get a Seestern with a bad movement.
@@brianmsahin that was my suggestion. They send me a movement and I go to a watchmaker. I pay the watchmaker. Although they wrote that they send a movement they did Not Do it. Therefore never again Rmalti global store
The best 62Mas Homage is Seestern v3 - had them all! Every other brand has a bezel rotation issue - San Martin being the worse, plus a very plain rough finish!
Seestern is a better watch I feel but that Rmalti dial is lovely- logos a tad too large for me so sterile would be a good option.
the bracelet endlinks always seem to be an issue in Chinese watches- you’d think they’d watched enough reviews to get the hint and only produce female endlinks with small bracelet ends
It seems to me nobody's got the bracelets feeling good or looking good as well I always end up with my 62 MAS homages on rubber or female end links on beads of rice generic bracelet from Aliexpres and for me neither one has the retro top hat sapphire crystal that i love My Rmalti vintage Tudor homage sure gets alot of wrist time and it always turns some heads Thanks for another epic comparison and Stay Frosty my friend 👍
Yeah 👍 female end links all the way
Agree.
I think both watches have things going for them. Like the lumed date and bezel on the Seestern. Regards
Both nice watches .
I have 3 Seiko 62 mas models and was considering the San Martin but didn't like the dimensions. Thanks to your review, the rmalti is a good alternative for me. Might have to get one unless you want to sell me yours 😂
Yeh you can take it off me if you like, drop me a mail
@@TheWatcherReviews I drop you an email in a few days bro
I got the Seestern after watching your full review ..... No buyers remorse and I still think it's the best 62M homage out there. Prefer it on a waffle rubber strap to a bracelet though.
I got the grey face with the rubber waffle strap, its such a pretty thing.
Great comparison Zee, but waiting for the new Seestern titanium Pelagos homage
Do you know when it will be available for sale? Im delaying buying a seestern 62 just because i saw thw titanium on their website..
Got a link? or a name to search?
@@johnrb9397 on their website it doesn't say anything, just some specs and at the bottom "delivery within april"
@@sivanstar thanks
I talked to them and they say it's suppose to come out at the end of march..
Will The Seestern accept standard bezel sizes for modding?
Sorry can't help you on that one as I'm not sure. They may do but would need disassembly and measurements
@@TheWatcherReviews Thanks!
I really dont get Rmalti, I saw a few weeks ago that they started to change their logo to Rimalti and they did here but only on clasp like wtf, do it all the way it's just weird like this
This is true, though a few Chinese watch brands have issues with getting the branding right and even when they do, you can't be certain it won't change. It was a big problem with San Martin but they seemed to have settled on a design at last.
China may put them together but the Japanese own the movement market NH35A
There are lots of design differences. My only real qualm with Rmalti is that the name doesn't look like English. It any language I know of. If they just were to add a vowel.... Perhaps 'Rimalti'... Or "Remalti"... "Rmalti" doesn't look like English....or like it could even be a name in a western language. I think that hurts them kind of a lot. It's a big deal for a lot of people.
Sounds like Rmälti, the fictious finnish God of time to me....... : )
Sorry to all the fans, but I cannot stand the way the lugs and bracelet integrate, because they don’t look integrated. It’s a bad design by Seiko, I wish these homages fixed that.
Yes, yet none of the 62MAS homage producers were not able to finally nail it, or bet on the female endlinks. ((
amaltis trash bezel action
