Curious about your Console setup. What gives you that beautiful picture? Is that RGB, UAV, or the Retron 77? Thanks for these awesome reviews! It helps me decide what to buy next on the wonderful Atariage store!
That's a good question because it's actually pretty cool. I have a moded Atari 2600 with RCA outputs instead of the coax. I plug it into a, and here's the neat part, Samsung CL29Z50. Its a CRT but a relatively new CRT built-in 2008. In 2008, North America was well into flatscreens and CRT's were long gone off the store shelves. But Brazil was still using CRT's so Samsung kept making them. So I guess the secret is the RCA out and the "new" Brazillian CRT.
Hello, I’m the developer of the game. Thank you for your review, I have enjoyed watching it. The game is supposed to be similar to the concept of a survival horror like Resident Evil. Slow moving characters, stress levels, careful planning. The game simply didn’t work with a faster character, the stress levels simply were not there. Thank you again! Michael x
I most certainly will give it a few more goes. I know I should just simply look this up, but is there a bin file available? I've run into a few issues running from the old six-switcher RCA mod to the recorder.
Let me know what you think when you do. I really want to love this game, it's great all-around but I got really frustrated with how slow the guy moves and the stupid stamina bar. Let me know if I'm crazy 😅
I believe there are some line count issues which can result in frame drops on some digital equipment. You can see the screen shifting up and down on my equipment during my interview with the developer on AtariAge Day, luckily my setup was able to power through it fairly well. Thanks - and I think I am resolved to the only record from .bin files moving forward. I've run into a few issues running from the old six-switcher RCA mod to the recorded. Appreciate it!
Appreciate you going over new 2600 games from homebrewers. Don't worry about polish in your videos. The title almost sounds like you're commenting on the game instead of your video, though :)
Enjoying your UA-cam content. Out of curiosity how are you setting up you Atari 2600 to LED TV and/or the CRT. Anything new or special? I'm thinking about purchasing an old skool 2600 but may got eh Retron route

Looks like an interesting homebrew, have to check it out.

Gotcha - I'll update the title.
Very cool and different game!
It is, but I seriously need someone to hack it and speed the dude up and not let the stamina drain so fast. 😅
Brilliant game! Pursue with it, it gets better. If it’s stressing you out…it’s working 😅🙌
😅 OK OK I certainly will try to get past that first level
Love your channel, I noticed that you haven't made any new videos for awhile. I hope all is well.
Why thank you much! Ifeel there will be a comeback soon.

Hey thanks! I bought a moded 2600 with RCA and SVideo connections from this dude on eBay: www.ebay.com/usr/keepingi_73
I just read that Atari is now also a crypto currency? Has there been anyone experience ?
Not that I’m aware of - I’m just 🙄🙄
Yes, I have. I have dealt with the topic for a long time and I am totally convinced
Great video, and nice homebrew game HippoBytes!
Thanks - I actually haven't made a video since this one... been busy and I was kinda bummed after this one because I really wanted to like this game.
@@HippoBytes I think we all end up with those games we tend to more learn to live with playing than truly enjoying.
@@bmkretrogaming7634 You're right. Remember playing Combat regardless of how much you hated how slow the tanks moved?
@@HippoBytes yes, and being multiplayer only. Though still it was the Call of Duty for it's day.
