Curious if you’ve looked to see what your Avalanches names is?
If you look on the bezel trim of the gage cluster you will find its name. Pull the bezel around the gage cluster and look on top.
I had someone tell me this, I didn’t believe them, I eventually pulled the bezel to see that my Avalanche is named “Mike H.”
If anyone knows more or why there’s a name I’d love to know

That’s what I thought too, but I haven’t seen this on any of my other GM vehicles that I’ve wrenched on over the years.
