- The Camry gets some major changes from Toyota for 2025. On the outside there is a new look with a redesigned front fascia, wheels, and rear end. On the inside you will be welcomed by a 12.3in infotainment system, digital gauge cluster and sunroof. Under the hood is a 2.0L inline-4 paired with (3) electric motors producing 232HP. Is the 2025 Toyota Camry SE a BETTER hybrid sedan than a Honda Accord Sport?

Hello everyone! Tough day with filming and had an issue while uploading the Grand Highlander that was supposed to go live today. Don't worry I will have the Grand Highlander coming before the end of the week.
I was wondering how you got it since it's on a stop sale due to the airbags?
You can’t go Honda if you want satellite radio
@@toyota420xp I was shocked when I found out my ‘23 Honda didn’t have Satellite radio and not even HD radio, plus a lot of other features missing 😢 Such a giant step backwards.
It is 2.5l not 2.0l engine with 232hp awd and 227 hp fwd.
Does this model come with head up display?
I’ve been with accord for a decade but I must say this years camry looks stunning
I own a 2016 Accord Sport, which is a great looking body style and I love it. The Camry is better looking than the latest Accord now. Honda really screwed up changing the body style, making it look very mundane on the road. Honda needs to reverse course and add style and aggression and more HP to the next version. 2025 Winner: Camry.
Thanks for sharing your honest opinion on this onr
I agree - older accords look better
I had the 2017 accord and loved it and regret selling it. Then i bought a 2019 2L accord with 252hp that is amazing and again regret selling it!
Yeah 9th gen accord is just classy. 10th gen looked fine. 11th gen is pure garbage… looks wise.
@@oompaloompa413Well said.
Dawg, the new camry has had engine reliability issues. Some owners already have reported is not that great.
Just like the new tundras some are failing.
I test drove this while I was getting an alignment on my 4Runner. I will be taking out a second loan on this. Never ever been interested in a Camry before this one. Wasn’t a fan when the pictures first came out, but in person it’s gorgeous and the ride quality is fantastic.
Oh wow that is great that you love it!
Definitely Camry over the Accord, all around great looking car!
Yeah accord copied the ford focus design while Toyota copied a Ferrari sf90 😂
I bought one a month ago and I am super happy with it so far! Getting that MPG in the 40s in the city as advertised!
me too, literally 1 moth ago too. hope the best for ur 2025 camry
what color did you go with?

Joe, I think Toyota has adopted the best method. Focusing on hybrids. They realized that the future belongs to hybrid cars, not EV.
As always ❤Joe❤Lori❤Steven.
completely agreed! EV is a "deepfake".
Toyota been working on HYBRID system since 1995 , and first prius was 1999
I think the AWD + Hybrid standard is what pushes the Camry over the Accord for me. Although, I am a fan of the Accord interior. I’d personally be curious if they released a Hybrid Max version as a replacement for the V6/TRD being gone.
Don’t get fooled by the luster on the Accord interior. It’s all cheap plastic. Mine is rattling and creaking. Part of the dash came off. The door panel broke. It’s a mess! And that’s because I take pride in my cars.
You are on Fire 🔥with these consistent uploads
LMAO You elbowing that rear armrest 🤣🤣
I like that Toyota has figured out that infotainment systems are here to stay and that it looks like it was designed to be a part of the dashboard. It does just look like an iPad put on the dash as an afterthought. Joe, the car does sparkle like a ruby in the Florida sun, but I think it would sparkle like a ruby in the Texas sun or the California sun or any states sun.
I would like the screens to have an option to close, fold down, or have some sort of lid to put over them cause they all just look so fugly in otherwise decent interiors
Infotainment displays are a bane on the car industry.
Hi Raiti thank you for always giving us quality reviews and making my day!🙌 been watching since 2020
I’ve been a Toyota fan so this one’s definitely worth it!
That is so awesome to hear!
I am really a fan of your videos. I have finally aettled with your videos when it comes to cars. One thing I appreciate about your videos is the predictablity
You know Honda has lost its cool factor when the Camry looks better than Accord.
That is a very true statement especially how bland the style of the new Accord its.
Joe, excellent delivered as usual.
It looks like you're really approved that rear center armrest.
No zonk on this 25'
Camry for me. I'm interested enough to plan for a trip to my local Toyota dealership to see it in person.
Thanks for great video, Joe !!
Amazing review Joe.
Nutter Butter, Etch-a-Sketch, Trapper Keeper. Right on!
Great review of the '25 Camry AWD! Thanks!
Thank you for letting me share it all with you!
This is going to cannibalize ES300H sales, especially with that AWD.
ES needs a redesign. I would buy that over the Camry simply because its a luxurious version of the Camry.
@@kobbycrentsil2859- I own an ES300h and, while I really enjoy driving the car, it handles, sounds, behaves, and FEELS like an Avalon. Like, nearly identical. Slightly softer leather, a db or two quieter perhaps, but otherwise nearly identical. The only difference that’s readily apparent is that the Toyota is built in the USA, while the Lexus was made in Japan. Thus, the resale and trade-in prices is SLIGHTLY higher with the Lexus. The maintenance and repair costs are ALSO slightly higher, unfortunately, making these two big, heavy sedans nearly a wash in almost every way.
In short, drive whichever one you like more. The Lexus is slightly quieter, smoother, and has a slight edge because of the badge, “L” perhaps, but I am currently leaning BACK to the Toyota because they are sportier, handle better, and look more aggressive in some respects. 😊 The quality differs is truly negligible at this point (since 2006, at least). The TINY differences no longer justify the fairly significant price difference (IMHO).
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍
We appreciate you so much my friend!
Great review, love the details I think I'm going to get this toyota, New subscriber from mexico
Accord not available in AWD. That ZONKS Honda out of the picture for me.
Like zoinks scoob!
Yes of course Joe & I will buy this car 1 day.
You will love this car!
I am going to as well. Every time they get a new stock it immediately sells out 😅
Nice looking, wished they kept the V6 as an option
I have the 2012 Camry sev6 with 120000 miles and it runs like new ( change the oil) I love how they kept the new one simple and I would say great on Fuel and I believe the Reliability will be there .. Of Course since its first gen there will be issues but nothing major I believe .
Oh wow that is so awesome to hear!
Love the content as always 👍
Good lookin car love your videos man
Great video and also the dartboard SUV joke is both hilarious and accurate
Thanks for letting bring you all the details Jeff!
Good review, I’d watch again.
Thanks for taking the time to say that!
Great Video.
Great review. How are the brakes? Mushy or sensitive? Thanks for posting.
New camry is definitely a head turner for sure, very nice job Toyota keep it up!!
Can't wait to get my LE w/ convenience package later this year!! 51/53 mpg is just insane
You are paying a premium for hybrid to start with, and you will have a battery replacement later if you keep it. Mileage short term is irrelevant
@@rickjohansson4257 I got my LE w/ convenience for 29k OTD. A pretty great discount. The battery replacement likely will not happen until 15 years. And to alleviate any worries, I have the standard 10 year hybrid battery warranty. It's also not that expensive to have the battery replaced, about a couple thousand, way less to have it fixed/reconditioned. The new non hybrid Honda Accord is about 30k.
Oh also...hybrids are fun. Like super fun. The almost instant torque from the electric motors are awesome. The gas savings over the years are also awesome.
Man, Ive been looking everywhere for just "a" 2025 Camry here in Canada. Nothing in the Ottawa region. Mainly want the SE with maybe the upgrade package. ( would love to test drive both 16 inch and 18 inch tires) Great review Joe! Love the colour!
Love, love, love the pro 18:58 wrestling elbows to the armrest! 😅
Thanks for letting me share the laughs and the cars with you!
Great review as always Joe! Think they did a pretty good job with the updates and I actually prefer the colored grill on the upper trim. Now the question is, are they going to bring the 2.4 turbo either with or without the hybrid at some point?
That is a great question! I will try to find out!
Liked demo of AWD’s seamless transition between front & all wheels. Shows daily non-adverse weather benefit of electric rear motor on dry southern roadway. Can see even greater safety with AWD in bad weather conditions.
it's just so sick looking. I havent finished the whole video yet but I am hoping to see a Camry Hybrid Prime trim at some point. A TRD looking carmy with the new look and powerful hybrid setup would be sick. Lets see a 0-60 in 5 seconds or less.
Plug in version? That would be awesome. Make my commute pure EV baby 😂
@@TheMetalGaia they have it for the Rav 4 hybrid prime. I think it's the quickest Toyota you can buy second to the supra. Which to me is really disappointing that we never got this on the Camry.
One of your better videos… and I like the Camry. And I always have.
I am so glad that I could share it with you!
This looks so good in this exact color … beating a dead horse but it would look so much better with that N/A v6 😢
These camrys look very good. I agree about the honda handling as I own a 2019 accord sport 2.0 and very much enjoy taking it through the twisty bits
Love your car video
Thanks man.
This is one of my dream cars. Love it.
This car looks like a real winner 🔥
So far looks good.
Great car! I Love when you drive an "everyman's" car. This car is a steal.
I would rather have a Toyota Corolla GT
The Camry Looks nice but Only seen older people driving these cars not saying i am old
I just turned 58 but still feel like i am 25 in my head lolol
If i was to get a Camry I would love a White one or Dark Blue and loaded like crazy
I remember when they had a 2 Door Camry in the 90's wonder if they will bring it back I don't really follow Toyota Cars just the Corolla That's it . I know it's hard to kill a Toyota
I am a Single Guy and just love a 2 door car if i was to Choose to a Accord or Camry it would be the Camry don't like the new Accords
Great Video
I’m 38 just bought a loaded XSE
Doesn’t feel like the older Camrys that yes older folks would drive 😂
My mind is still stuck at 18
@@Nightshade1881 It's funny we only feel an age when it was so much fun at the time
I have owned the new SE for one month as of yesterday. So far it's everything Joe said it is.
Including the hard ass rubber arm rest
How's the acceleration for you?
@@rosstoolfanI came from a civic. So for me, It is plenty. It will push you back into the seat.
I wonder if later on you can replace those rubber armrests
@savethemanuals1597 you can. My dad is an upholsterer so find your local craftsman and pay for a changed armrest
@@savethemanuals1597 I thought it might be possible to order the padded leather ones from the XLE. The center arm rest is better but not great either. I think @ross has a good idea with a upholstery shop also and probably costs less. Lastly if one gets totaled in a wreck and junked you can pull the leather ones and swap them out.
The 2025 Toyota Camry SE is the BEST, and most EXCITING vehicle that I have ever owned of the six. The 2018 Volkswagen Passat S was the WORST of the six.
Wow, Joe this is a good looking car and the Color looks great, however I wish we had an option to order a v6 engine if you choose that option.😊😊😊.
They did a nice job on this 👍. Nice styling compared to boring accord 🥱
Joe, loving the Toyota Camry & even though it isn't meant to compete with a say Genesis G80 or a BMW 5-class but I think it looks good.
You have very good taste Luis
@@RaitisRides When will you review a BMW I7?
POV on throttle is next level!!! Awesome review 💯
Thanks Duane for riding with me!
Very sharp looking sedan. Toyota does a fine job with balance. Styling is top notch. Performance is enough for passing on the interstate and fuel mileage is phenomenal. Hard to beat for a stylish every day driver.
Joe, I don’t mind the gloss black plastic however I would suggest a protection film over it to protect it from scratches and swirl marks.
This 2024-2025 Camry has an acquired taste… It looks like a 2018 SE Camry had a baby with the Toyota Corolla… Zonk!!!!
Great video and I like the car a lot. I was in a '25 Camry XSE yesterday and I noticed that the seat isn't centered to the steering wheel. The steering wheel is offset to the right. Are all Camrys like this? I'm afraid it would drive me nuts.
I never really noticed that nor have I ever heard of that.
@@RaitisRides I appreciate the reply. I was hoping it was just the one car. Maybe the seat was out of whack but it was definitely off. Thank you!
Maybe it's just YOU!!
Crossovers are too expensive now. I love this!
I love the way that they drive better than crossovers.
I work at a Toyota dealership and I’ve seen this spec in person and it seriously looks great!! Honestly, all trims look great, including the LE. I personally would probably get the LE because it’s still cheaper and slightly better gas mileage and has a ton of great equipment standard, but I think this SE is going to be very popular!
Edit: I currently drive a 2015 Accord coupe and really like it and have owned three other Hondas, another Accord and two Civics. I am not in the market for a new vehicle, though if I were, I’m going 2025 Camry over 2025 Accord, easily.
That Toyota looks actually nice😂
I am so glad that you think so.
HaHa, I saw you in the backseat Steven!! Great review guys!!
Good eyes man!
got mine more then a month ago i love the car it drives very smooth and comfortable the best part is it give me 53 up to 55 MPGs thats awesome.
That is so fantastic to hear! Thanks for sharing your ownership experience!
My 2021 Nissan Sentra SR goes back in Sept. Always like the SE Camry, but some of the new design elements I don’t love as much as previous gen. However, style wise, I feel this beats the brakes off the Accord. I feel Honda dropped the ball on the design. But also gotta let the drive do some talking too. Should be fun shopping coming up. Great work as always Joe and team!
I think once you see it in person things will all come together. Thanks for letting me bring it to you.
Sliding down the highway 😭🤣🤣🔥
Purosangue in sedan form 🤯
Can you do a SE vs XLE vs XSE comparision video plz ?
Looks aggressive & cool colour, but the badge needs to be black!
That's just an easy cosmetic fix. Just paint the badge black.
I prefer the Camry over the Accord, but I think the Sonata needs to be considered as well.
That is an excellent point Lisa!
I’m glad that I got the last gen V6.
Super smart of Toyota to put a piece of plastic where a timer window used to be on the c pillar. That window was notorious for getting broken when thieves broke into the cars. Just wish it would be flat matte black instead of gloss black.
I’m diggin that color
It really pops in the sun!
@@RaitisRides yes sir
Is that orange or red?
Hot ride!!
Joe, have you heard if anyone has done a side-by-side comparison of how well the headlights do in the SE vs the XSE?
Yeah, I would just de-badge that Toyota logo out back.
The "normal" sunroof is nice, I'm sure the panoramic is nice but I wouldn't want to see the bill if that cracked. Overall pretty good! Multiple Electric Motors is interesting
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one.
Thank you for a nice review. What is the Battery Size in this car?
That is a great question!
I just bought a new 2025 Camry SE (front wheel drive), and got 47.7 mpg using only Normal Mode. I can not wait to try it on ECO Mode.
Is On-demand AWD? How it operates? AWD engaged automatically only, or we can manually switch between FWD and AWD?
You misspoke about the radio in the accord, the sport hybrid is the entry point to the 12.3 inch radio.
I got one of these Camry SE AWD 2025s and I gotta say, it's exactly like you said it is. I've been getting between 44 and 46 mpg going to and from work, and it's been a really relaxing experience driving it.
BYD QIN is half the price, the same size, and more intelligent. The key point is that it consumes 2 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers.
Over the weekend I test drove a Accord Touring. Several decontenting ZONKS; no Home Link mirror, no Sirrus Satellite & the venting seats didn't work with a crap! Ends up being a hard pass!
And no Camrys to test drive anywhere, they hit the lots & SOLD!
I know how you feel about the Accord. I am not surprised there are no Camrys to be found right now. Give it a little time and I am sure things will come around.
What color is this? I don't see it in the coloring scheme option on the Toyota website.
In red and new style this car surely looks way better then it likely is . Very good looking sedan . Best looking ca ary ever . I w uoukd hate it as a CVT but you wont look awful driving it while the trans makes awful sounds . Its slow and when going for quick acceleration of which 7 seconds is enough to get moving and droning and buzzing loudly when you ask it to the MPGS and price with the very handsome looks balnces it out . Looks cool even if it isnt .if you cant be cool you can look pretty cool IMO .
This car looks the same as the last generation when you look at it from the side.

Hi Ashan! Are you looking for a sedan or an SUV?
Can u drag race an AWD model vs front wheel drive? Thanks
It looks like door buzz I got in 240 speedometer but is the best offer for motor chip now day
Huh??
I have a 2020 Camry LE nightshade and love it. Thinking of trading it for 2025 XSE with Red interior.
I feel like they should have added led lighting across the board. The Honda accord is standard led no matter the trim.
That is an excellent point for sure!
the front reminds me of how toyota designs there lexus cars i love it
Joe did not mention what keeps the battery charged. Is it a plug in?
It’s a hybrid
Joe the 12.3 inch is standard on the accord sport and up I just thought that I’d let you know
Thanks for the heads up!
When a toyota camry has got developmental resources with aero bits, you know the auto world is in a pretty good place. If you told me 25 years ago a camry would look like this, I'd have thought you came from the future, and I would be correct :) I'd have thought given the pedigree, the accord would have went this direction and the camry would have went more the way of today's accord.
I am close to fifty, so I have seen all types of models come and go. That said, Toyota never did amazing looking models, especially the Camry vs Accord battle. However, since a few years now, Toyota in general are on top. And the Hybrid factor mindset, top notch, as I dislike EV's.
You have hit the nail on the head!
Great video Joe! Camry looks sharper than the Accord. I wish that the Camry had the V6 and the Accord kept the 2.0, but I’m glad that they didn’t cancel them with another Crossover suv.
how you doing Joe ? how's the nice pleasant weather over there in Florida ? Toyotas are looking more like Lexus models & Lexus is starting to look more like Toyotas lol. extra cheeze tony macaroni 🤓
