$500 Honda CT70 gets some paint.

3 hours of time, $24 in spray paint and……it’s all one color. It’s a “10 footer” paint job, but the whole bike is a low buck project, so it will be fine. I’ll spray it with some clear after I’ve installed the decals.

I built one of these with my dad a few years ago. Was such a fun project. I have yet to really ride it or take it out anywhere sadly because I’ve been working non stop with no time off :/ but working on the bike was such a fun time.

I used a silver base on that bike and thought it was a little light in color. The dark primer and first coat on this one didn’t seem to change much, it looks the same as the bike with silver base.

I don’t have a video that’s specific to installing decals. I do show it in a few vids. I usually get yelled at in the comments because I install them dry. Everyone tells me to use soapy water. Hahaha

We’re going to find out. I plan to spray on a couple layers of clear after I get the decals installed.
