When he said “football players don’t live long because they put everything into it and when it’s over it feels like a betrayal,” I felt that. I was a soldier and I can relate 100 percent.
To me it was more that he was being disrespectful to the organization and his team mates by just leaving instead of talking to anyone and staying until the end of the game. The Bills weren't even planning on using him for the rest of that game from what I could gather but he just slipped out the back door.

Teams trade players in the middle of the game. Teams cut players with no notice. These players owe nothing. I'd rather see vontae quit the way he did than stay and a teammate gets injured.
