I truly love to see the earth worms in my garden, they make me smile because of all the good they do. Yea!
Definitely 😁 👍 ❤️ 🪱
Best feeling in the world is having your hands in warm earth❤
😁👍♥️
Got the seal of approval from the butterflies!
😊🙏🦋💙🌸🌻
Good to see you wearing a decent hat. Covering the neck and ears
Definitely 😁👍
Super cute outfit!
Thank you! 😊
Really enjoying this new channel Ausia. I’m a pretty novice gardener so I love how you walk us through what you’re doing. Thanks! ❤
Awesome! Thank you! ☺️ 👍♥️
Beautiful
Hardest working Woman I know ❤
Thanks Rabecca 😁 ♥️
I mean to tell you!! I can’t keep up. I’ve followed her for years and she gives me such hope. I love the adventures she takes us on her voice soothing! She’s why I started growing anything that you can kill so easy. Live and learn. It’s so peaceful and joyful just like her and her videos. Thank you for you comment 🫶🏼
@@aprilstone9776 Thanks April... that's so kind of you to say 😁👍❤
@@GardenDayZ you’re are welcome 🙏🏻
Keep in mind your almond and apple, and peach trees get large, very large and will provide shade to whatever is under or near. So think ahead of what is planted now that will come back annually and possibly be in the shade. Your garden is lovely, and gardening is truly a labor of love. I'm glad the butterflies have found you, but beware, those little wasp are mean. Thank you for sharing.
😊👍♥️
Passion fruit vines
Nice suggestion 😁👌❤️
Ain't it fun!
😁👍
Ausia what beautiful oasis you have created. I wish I had the space for that big of a garden (I could use the exercise lol) I find gardening so relaxing and rewarding. With just having basic gardening skills I have a hard enough time keeping a cactus alive 😂
Thanks ..lol 😆👍I agree with you it is relaxing and rewarding
You do great with your garden even with the limited water you have available. Keep up the good work you should, open a desert nursery. Hug Moo !
Thanks 😊 👍👋🐶♥️
This was so relaxing to watch. I wish I could be working out on a garden or yard. I love to feel mother earth on my hands, watering, cleaning up. Maybe when we move I'll have a yard to play in with plants and water. After all that work you did you should take you a shower and relax. You did a lot. Say hello to Moo Moo for you. Love you both. Oh, you mentioned wasps 😳I'm terrified of them after getting stung all over my face when I was a little girl. I run from them loll!
Thanks 😁 🙏♥️ agreed it is relaxing to be in nature and the garden. Oh no that sounds horrible 😢
Ausia you are an amazing person.. I love how you care for your gardens.. if I was younger .. yep I would be doing same .. but at this time I feel better doing my indoor plants 💞☀️my great grand babies help out.. special times ❤️🥰❤️🍓💯
Thanks ...that's awesome 😁 👍 ♥️
Love the farmer Jane hat
Thanks Craig 😁♥️
love your garden
Thank you 😊 🙏♥️
I really love your garden! It seems very whimsical. The wind chimes, drift wood fences and different rock lined beds make for a very informal feel. Great job 👍 I think I would keep that back fence natural though. It seems (on camera that is) to be aging really pretty. Great video
Thank you so much! 😁 👍♥️
I find Honeysuckle vine and Trumpet vine work well year round and nice flowers. Love it when the herbs return on their own!
😁👍♥️
The garden looks great🍓🫐❤
Thanks y'all 😁♥️🧡💛💚💙
Come help me and bring that hat. LOL
Lol.. ut definitely helps with the sunburns. My neck was sore the other day when I forgot to put it on 🥵👍
Even though we live in different growing zones, I learn from Garden DayZ and get creative ideas from you. Thank you!
Awesome and thanks 😊 🙏 ♥️
Hi Ausia, Things really are looking so nice and so do you. I Love your hat, it has such a Southern Charm to it. Your friend, Louise
Thanks so much Louise 😁 🙏 ♥️
I enjoyed these videos of working in your garden, I sure miss mine back in Oklahoma as I have moved back in Arizona with my daughter, they are just renting, hoping next year they will be in their own home and I can start up my new garden at my daughters new home. Hanks for sharing your videos of your garden. Can’t wait to see another one. Have a great rest of your day😊
Thanks 🙏♥️ That would be awesome 😊👍
I love your hat🤗👩🏼🌾
Thanks 😁 ♥️
An oasis in the desert for you. I like this channel.😊
😊 thank you Gail
Yes, have a shallow bowl of water always available and not only for the birds but you'll see bees drinking from them, too.
☺️♥️🦋🌸🌻
Awesome
😊👍
My blueberries don't produce every year, but when they do it's a lot. My raspberries produce in the early summer and fall. Had to remove blackberries because they were invasive.
Awesome.. thanks for sharing 😁👍♥️
Perennial climber is Scarlet runner beans. Too tough to eat as a green bean but left on the vine until the pods dry out make an excellent dried bean for chili, etc.
Cool thanks 😊 👍♥️
I love watching you garden! A labor of love. I found a little spot to buy in Cochise county but I haven't finished paying it off yet. I look forward so much to gardening but in the meantime, I will garden vicariously through you. ::)
Thanks 😁🙏❤️
...That is awesome! Congrats 👍
@@GardenDayZ Thank you!! :)
I planted mint and thyme 12 years ago and every spring they grow into beautiful greenery. Also, I take some of my vegetables like green onions and plant them in the ground. Also, plant garlic. Your garden looks beautiful, Ausia.
Thanks for sharing. I appreciate your comment 😊👍♥️
HOLA MIJITA 👋 & CUDDLES MOO 🤗 work smarter , not harder , excellent job love the way you plan out the spots to plant . SAFE TRAVEL'S EVERYONE, ONWARD BOUND ✌️ ♥️ 🤲 🌊 🧜♀️
Thank you so much Elisia 🤗🐶♥️
Check your zone but I just bought 2 dwarf black mulberries from Florida Hill Nursery. The trees get 35-50' tall but these super dwarfs only get 4-6' and can even be grown in containers. A sweet berry like raspberry and blackberry "with it's own unique touch" google says.
Hmm 🤔 good to know.. thanks 🙏♥️
I can't wait until you can make a strawberry short cake 😋 ❤
😋👍♥️
grapes would have done really well on your climbing trellis. I would have had to have planted tomatoes and bush green beans. Maybe a squash and some okra. They are not perineal but they is gooooood.
😁👍♥️
I have full confidence in your blueberries thriving this year. It's good to get things planted now while it's a little cooler. Are you going to plant any drought resistance perennial herbs?
Thanks 😁👍 I'll be on the lookout next time I'm at the garden center
I love your new channel. I've lived in the west and admire your dedication to gardening as it wasn't easy for me. I will likely be moving to the mid atlantic east coast so am looking forward to learning how to garden all over again. You've given me some great ideas! You have a wonderful green thumb and are such an inspiration! Can't wait to see how it progresses through the summer. ❤
So nice of you.. thanks 😁 ♥️ happy trails and new adventures on the east coast 👏
I'm enjoying your new channel. You have done a tremendous amount of work in your garden. It's going to be gorgeous when it all comes together. Good job!
Thank you so much Janet 😁🙏♥️
Oh yeah that’s the way to go love the plants that come back every year👍
Definitely 😁❤️
It looks so beautiful. Very nice video loved it
Thank you so much Debra 😊
Your place is so beautiful, you have worked so hard.I can't get out in my garden as much as I would like.Sence I had Covid I just don't have the energy. My get up and go got up and went.I just found out I have Long covid.Anyways I get to watch you and it keeps me sane it sucks not being able to go outside unless conditions are perfect.Bellyrubs for all the dogs and Happy Pride month.
Thanks Diane 😁 🐶♥️ I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon 🙏🦋💙
At first I was Leary of the newer channel but it is great! Why one would doubt you? Garden is quite impressive and if the insects are coming that is a great sign!
I totally understand... but thanks for coming over and checking it out 😁🙏♥️
Give Moo Moo a big hug for me🤗❤️👋
🐶♥️
I love your 👒 hat.
Thanks 😁 ♥️
Maybe snow peas?
😊👍
❤ love it nice job you sure do have a green thumb ❤❤❤
Thanks 😁 👍♥️
Everything is looking beautiful! Alot of hard work I know. I just have one question. why are you planting your fruit trees in with the ground plants? when the trees get big they will shade everything out. I would think with the trees you would plant an orchard. thats just me thinking. maybe the fruit trees dont get as big where you are. I know climates are different.
Thanks.. yes you're right they probably won't get as big and I'll keep it smaller for easier harvesting 😁👍
Burpee came out with a vertical growing summer/yellow squash. I’m growing it now. Maybe it will work on your trellis?
Hmm 🤔 thanks 😁👍♥️
Hard work, yet the benefit you will reap will be amazing!🙏
I hope so! 😊👍♥️
The beautiful Monarch butterfly is like 99% gone because farmlands destroyed all the milkweed. Everyone needs to plant milkweed, milkweed, milkweed, as it's the only plant they'll lay their eggs on. I looked at the AZ milkweed recently because my sister lives down there and the indiginous milkweed in AZ is super cool looking. A person should start out with 5-6 plants. And anyone else interested should always plant the milkweed that's native to their area and AVOID the tropical milkweed that hosts a parasite toxic to the butterflies.
I threw some milkweed seeds in my garden last year, hoping it will come up during the monsoon season 🦋 ♥️
I have no clue on planting, plants and etc. But I enjoy your knowledge about everything.
So nice of you Carol.. thanks 😁 🙏♥️
Always a pleasure to watch the progress.
Thanks 😁 🙏♥️
love your garden - regards from germany
Hi Germany 👋😁 thanks 🙏♥️
How about Arguta Kiwi or Scarlet Runner Beans on the trellis?
Thanks 😁 ♥️
It is all looking so good! OMG you're getting some great exercise too.
Thank you!! 😁♥️ definitely
Can persimmon's grow there? I have a fast growing persimmon's vine not tree, that grows fast, dies back in late fall and has beautiful big flowers and small to medium fruits on it in spring and late summer. It is a pretty green and has lovely shaped leaves and little tendrils that really help it to attach to arches and porches I love mine : )
Possibly 🤔
Its 5:51 am...I am not the first...😊🌺
Good morning 😁👍♥️
This episode was really enjoyable!! You got a lot done!! Love all those blueberries and fruit trees, especially the 2 plums!! Yummy!! Can almost taste those apple pies!! Try Martha Stewart's recipe for Pate brisse (pie crust) 🥧 The best!!
Thanks so much Elizabeth 😁 🙏 ♥️
Ausia, I have to say this. I have watched every video of yours, but lately I have noticed you seem to be breathing heavier than normal at times. If you haven't had your yearly physical, please think about getting one. I say this with love.
Thanks 😊👍i usually have this issue because of the higher elevation 😕
Looks nicely organized. Did your asparagus go to seed already? Did you get to eat any of it? It's one of my favorites. And in case you've never noticed, auger has the first 2 letters of your first name and the last 3 letters of your last name. Have a good one Ausia!😁✌🤟
Nope not yet but this will be year 3 so I'm hoping next year.. hmm 🤔 never noticed that lol 😆 👍 thanks
🐼❤
😁🐶♥️
Passion fruit is yummy ! I'm not sure if it's good in your zone, tho ??
I love the passion fruit vine 😍 but I'll have to see if it will grow in my zone 👍
Really enjoyed this video!! We are expanding our garden this year, and you have enlightened me to new ideas!! Only have a 1/2 acre or so to plant and grow, but you just made my day!!
Thanks 😁 🙏♥️ that's awesome 👏
This is crazy but I have seen people return dead plants at the big box stores and get their money back. 😄 Haha
Lol ☺️👍it's funny you say that because the lady at the garden center said I have a year to return any plant that I buy from there if it was to die 🤔
kiwi or grapes for climbing trellis
😁👍♥️
🙋♀️🌻
😁♥️🌸🌹🦋🌻
You are such a great gardener and love your setup. Do you have a greenhouse yet or plan to get one?
Thanks 😁 🙏♥️ I do eventually plan.o. buying or building one, but that definitely is a later project 👍
Good job Ausia!! 🌱
Thank you! 😃👍♥️
Cucamelons on arch.
I've actually grown those before... thanks 😁 👍♥️
@@GardenDayZ not sure if they would return. They come back more and more each season. Great pickled.
@@patsykluting-lucas3804 😃👍
How about using the trellis for grapevines?
That is a possibility 🤔 👍
❤😊
😊👍♥️
Lime makes soil less acidic, blueberries need acid soil.
I noticed that too😮
@@tkmarshall3454 yes we lime because we have very acid soil in pnw
You know what.. your complete right. I grabbed the wrong bag 🙄 ugh oh well
can passion fruit vine grow there? edit....maybe not isn't frost tolerant
No.. I believe the growing zone is 10 or above. It couldn't handle our winter, but thanks for your suggestion 😊👍
Love Ausia 🌻🍓🍒🍎🫐🌼 Gardens 🤗
Thanks Rosco 😁 🙏♥️🌹🌸
