  • In this particular video I install a new automatic WIFI & Bluetooth enabled smart drip system and controller for my high desert garden in Northern Arizona... I also change from small sprinklers to drip emitters, and run into a few issues.

    But that’s just me…I’m easily overwhelmed by even just computer cords, lol. I’ll just sit back and watch your garden.😅

    Gosh you work hard! Getting in a drip system is a lot of work but so worth it. I love how easy it is to maintain the garden and keep plants happy. One system is enough for me😂. An animal chewed through one of my hoses. I think it was a chipmunk 🐿️

    Love it! I will use an automatic drip system as well. I was thinking that in a small veggie garden, I could use ollas that would be filled with a drip system as well to take advantage of combining the two. Your gardens are inspiring! :)

    Hey Ausia. Your garden is really starting to perk up. I would not have the skill to figure out that drip system. You just seem to have a knack for things like that. It's also nice that you have 3 canines to supervise the project. Are you doing tomatoes this year? I know you said the barrels were going to hold perennials. Good luck in your endeavors!❤✌🤟

    🇺🇸❤️🎥🌺🌹🌷💐🌻 well I still have the groundhog chewing on my volunteer wildflowers even though I'm pretty sure these flowers will grow back I just pulled them up, even though my garden pretty soon we'll have hanging tentacles of different kind of or mental squash and yellow neck squash and groundhogs just love that stuff so he ain't no. Next year just tomatoes and nothing else. 😊

    back in the day we would get hay blocks and put em all the way around or strategic,then u spray them with gunnite... used to be cheap.. or u can use the ENVIRABOND /aka metamucil psyllium fiber .. anyhoo forms a SHELL Over the hay and creates the most awesome vintage ARTSY WALLS like in the CHURCHES.. it never moves u can find videos.. really kewl not too high either or u can stack 2 Skewer with a rod into the ground . Lasts forever..hay walls

    I saw a cattle panel arch and I'm getting ready to buy some cattle panels so did you use concrete or do they do fine just stuck in the dirt?

    • @GardenDayZ
      @GardenDayZ  4 місяці тому

      I just used t-posts, and they were strong enough once hammered into the ground.

      Hmmm, I've seen a lot of cattle panel arches and I've never seen they used t-posts. They all just look stuck in the ground.

    • @GardenDayZ
      @GardenDayZ  4 місяці тому +1

      @lesliekendall5668 I find it gives the arch great stability, but you definitely have to be careful setting them because they can pop back.

      I'm SO glad you responded again. I went past my neighbor's garden again on my way to open up my irrigation and lo and behold, I never noticed it before, but sure enough, they have t-posts in the corners of the arch. THANK YOU!
