- In this particular video I head into Flagstaff, Arizona on a mission to find something I can use as an Island for my outdoor kitchen and since I'm in town also go to my local nursery & box store for some plant and garden shopping.

Great video, Mahalo for sharing.
Thanks 😊 ♥️
I REALLY enjoy your garden-channel! Nice addition to the travel one!
Thanks so much Christine 😁 🙏 ♥️
What a nice day you must of had ...just enjoying your own company ❤❤❤
Definitely 😊 👍 ♥️
You might look for a restaurant supply place. They may have metal counters. Also, when you have guests ask them to save their coffee or tea grounds and those will help acidify the soil.
You could fry your eggs directly on them in the heat 😊
😁👍♥️
Lol ☺️
I love, love, love exploring thrift stores, you never know what you will find that you don't need. For your outside counter to stand up to weather, rather than look at furniture, think about building a basic frame the height and length you want out of treated lumber and put a plywood top on it and ceramic tile. It would hold up for years compared to the cost of continual replacement of a piece of indoor house furniture trying to survive your outdoor temps. THANKS for sharing.
Exactly 💯 😁👍♥️
My neighbor has wisteria all over her front porch it is so pretty when in bloom smells so good👍
Awesome 😁👍♥️
Loved watching this video!! I just finished up my transplanting the tomato, cucumber and bell peppers!! Keeping it somewhat small for now, just the basics for canning, tomatoes, making salsa, spaghetti sauce, some pickles and sweet banana peppers!! Maybe next year add a garden spot on other side of driveway, if I fence it off from the critters who think I'm planting a buffet just for them!!
That's awesome 😄👍♥️ lol critter buffet 😆
HOLA 👋 & CUDDLES MOO 🤗
OMG , LOVE, LOVE THRIFT STORE ,ANTIQUE , AND PLANTS , IS THE WAY I ROLL ,
FUN, FUN. ,FUN ! SAFE TRAVEL'S EVERYONE, ONWARD BOUND ✌️ ♥️ 🤲 🌊 🧜♀️
Hi Elisia 👋 😁 🐶 ♥️ me too 👍
Good afternoon, Ausia. I agree, don't buy those plants in those boxes, most of them are already dead. Nice thrift stores, and great score. It is late in the year for strawberries. Strawberries are my first produce to harvest May through June here in Arkansas. Strawberries are a Spring crop. I've been growing strawberries for 18 years, and they stay green year around if they have moist soil. Brown leaves means they are dead. I water my strawberries throughout the summer even though they aren't giving fruit. My strawberries produce year after year. I have put up most of my strawberries this year, but they are still producing some. Strawberries do not like the extreme heat. I don't cover my strawberries during the winter, and even at zero degrees it doesn't kill them. Lack of moisture and high heat strawberries don't tolerate. 🍓
Thanks for sharing 😊👍♥️
Like the grey pillows for the couch!
Thanks.. me too 😊💗
Beautiful plants thanks for taking us along🤗👋 give Moo Mo a hug for me❤
Thank you, glad to have you along... I will 😊🐶♥️
The panicle hydrangeas are made to take the heat. You can plant them in full sun! They do great.
Thank you so much for the tip! 😊♥️
Hello Ausia
Loved you taking us along with you on your outing. Loved looking at all those plants and flowers and oh my would be so awesome if you could put in a pond with a water fall at your property.
Thanks Karen 😊 🙏 ♥️ that would be awesome 👍
Getting Me PUMPED to get my grow on. Lots of great Idea. Would love to have some apple trees.
Awesome 😁👍♥️
You have great will power!! ❤
😁👍❤️
As an antique dealer, that drawered yellow case seemed like a good buy for $120. People love them. The ceramic Foo Dog at GW was glazed and fired, so should have been fine outside, the statuary was plaster and would not have been. The antique place was pretty interesting though. Plants are so expensive now, so we're lucky the Amish have a small store near our Piggly Wiggly. They seem to have some fair prices and the plants look healthy. Stay cool and safe!✌🤟
Definitely 😊👍 i had one ceramic piece outside that didn't survive the winter 😪 that's awesome 👏
@@GardenDayZ The deal with ceramic is, you have to empty the pot after the growing season. The soil will freeze and expand cracking the pot. I guess if you are putting perennials in them, they would have to be taken out and planted in the fall.😁
Shopping with you is so much fun, Ausia.
Thanks for coming along 😁 ♥️
That yellow dresser with shallow drawers would be good for your seeds!
Oh yeah, what an awesome idea 💡 👏 😊♥️
I love antiques I could just look and look ❤️
Me too 😁👍♥️
😊 very good video. 💐🌷🌹🌻🌺👍
Thank you! ☺️ 🌸🌻🦋💙💗
Loved watching this as so many beautiful plants. I need to find a outside work bench. What I have seen won't fit in my vehicle. I've been hearing bad things about Goodwill. Oh well. Enjoyed and thanks. Hugs to Moo moo.
Thanks for watching and commenting 😁👍♥️ yeah certain stores have ridiculous prices 🙄
Have you ever considered having bees? With so many plants they would have plenty to eat and you would have the added benefit of fresh honey. Especially if you're going to have flowering plants and some fruit trees.
I would have to do some research, I've never kept bees 🐝
They wouldn't survive the winters and are a lot of work.
@@lesleyhughes3174 that's what I was thinking ☺👍
I like that metal garden decor
😁👍♥️
You should order you a Gurny's seed catalog...they have just about everything...😊
Awesome ☺️👍
Very nice video today my friend! I agree with you about those creepy baby dolls...scary looking
Thanks so much 😁 🙏 ♥️
They have a perennial hibiscus plant that I have, W. Colorado comes back every year, deep red. Ask for it!
Nice 😊👍🌸♥️
Great find on that decorative garden piece, I love it!! Have you ever grown cinnamon basil? It’s an amazing plant - wonderful scent, beautiful blooms and you can make tea with the leaves. Another 5 ⭐️ Garden DayZ!
Thanks.. no but i definitely look it up ☺️👍♥️
I loved going shopping with you Ms. Ausia.
Glad to have you along 😊♥️
🙋♀️🌻
👋😁🐶♥️
Thanks for taking us shopping!
Thanks for coming along 😁♥️
🐼
😊👍♥️
I dont know if you know this but most places have a year warrenty on their trees. Keep your receipt. Also ask on bushes /plants ect if it dies bring in the dead plant and show them along with your receipt (make a copy of said receipt cause they tend to fade ) either you get your money back / store credit / new plant
😁👍♥️
Loved seeing all the plants. Too bad the yellow raspberry was so expensive. I wonder if they would let you take a cutting from it. Is there a Habitat for Humanity close to you? or someplace like it where construction / renovators donate extra building supplies so it doesn't go to the landfill. You might find a counter top there.
HH is a wonderful place to find great 'stuff' for a creative person. ..
Yes I did stop by there but was in a rush and didn't get a chance to film.
I like going through those old shops !
Definitely 😊 👍 ♥️
Nice to know you are an antiquarian... ❤
😁👍♥️
Antiques, old things, garage sale etc. Love it. I really do love that black metal item!!! Now where will you put it.....hmmmm. Prices this season were very high and even some of the stores that usually had lower prices seemed high. But I did get just a couple of things for my flower bed. I have doing more and more ( not that I have a lot of room ) perennials. Some are small but they will grow.
Fun outing and thanks for taking us along.
Me too... yes, but I'm sure I'll figure out a perfect spot 😊👍♥️
Thanks for taking us shopping at Goodwill. (Senior discount on Wednesdays here in Ohio.) I liked those pillows and looking at the stores. After seeing that lodge, have you ever considered putting a permanent type of trailer/RV on your property? 🏳🌈🏳🌈
Thanks for coming along 😁👍♥️ i have but probably will just keep it simple
Thanks for giving me so many ideas for my back yard.
I'm so glad! ☺️👍🌸💗
It’s my understanding that the bee gums aren’t kept close to living spaces so they are not a pest but close enough o care for. You would have your own pollinators.
😊👍♥️
Maybe a restaurant resale would work better outside
True 🤔👍
Dang! That Dog ceramic glazed is good outside
I was thinking the same thing.. A couple coats of paint would help keep it sealed against the weather.
Hmmm 🤔
❤
😊♥️
Did you get the Russian Sage? I hope so - it's extremely drought tolerant and would bounce back from neglect at the store. I bought a couple in Albuquerque once years ago that were almost dead, towards the end of the season. They responded well to watering and basic care and bloomed and bloomed. Once they were used to the garden, I didn't have to water them. They acclimate really well.
No I didn't but I'll definitely have to go back for some. That's awesome 😊👍🌸💗
2nd that. They are great plants. Lovely and very low maintenance. There are tall and short varieties.
I admire them here in Michigan too. They seem to use them a lot in the typical strip gardens between decorative yard fences and public sidewalks.
Sooo pretty! Perfect accent to almost any other flowers. Took me a few years to find out what they were! 🧐
I really enjoyed looking at all the plants, trees, etc... It's so relaxing going around looking at those plants. Do you think maybe down the road you will have a small waterfall going down to a pond? Just had to ask 🙂. Stay safe, love you and Moo Moo.
Me too! I hope so that would be awesome 😁👍🐶♥️
Interesting.
🙂👍
I bet you'd like learning how to paint flowers.
😁👍
Just wondering if the rats/mice eat the fruit from your trees? Do they climb in the trees to get to the fruit?
Haven't seen any yet.. thankfully 😊👏
What about a rolling toolbox for an outdoor kitchen? Some have butcher block type tops and they are counter height. May can find one on marketplace
Not a bad idea 🤔👍♥️
Ya, I always thought dolls were creepy too.
Lol ☺️ 👍
U do have a difficult climate. I killed so many plants not suitable for the heat and humidity here
I've definitely had my fair share of plant 🪴 loss 😪 but that's part of gardening, one big experiment to see what works or not, and yes, it can be a bit discouraging, until you start to get a feel for what and where 😄👍
16 dollars what a scam…
baking soda amends soil perfectly
👋😁♥️
