hi, if you don't mind can you share how to make the chestnut paste from scratch? I have a lot of chestnut and want to use it for dessert but most vids use store bought paste

The one I used is pretty simple: Put in a pot half a pound of chestnuts (already boiled and peeled), one cup of milk (soy milk works too), and a quarter of a cup of sugar; Cook it at low/medium heat until it starts to thicken (it took me around thirty minutes but it depends), then let it cool slightly; Mix it with a food processor until smooth; If you wanna go the extra mile you can run the paste through a sifter to make it smoother. Also you can add a dash of rum if it's of your taste; I hope the dessert will come out great! 😊
Great to see a perfectly assembled cake without using gelatin. You certainly have the skills for that. Beautiful creamy and pleasant texture in the end!
I really enjoy watching Jàcondes preparation and baking it's so soothing . The bakers nails are so clean unlike others who try to show off their long nails. And talk so much . 😊

Beautiful, like all your creations, out of this world. Only, I don't really like the background noises, the stirring, eggs cracking etc, nor the music: they grate on my nerves. But that's just me probably. Well done, you make wonderful cakes I don't even dare to try out.

@@wongpl1422 I never tried with it but it should work, maybe cook it a little more to make sure you get a dense paste
