I just wanted to say that you game is comeing along very well. Your sound design is phenomonnal. I also like your combat system, its so system, but feels so rewarding while kyteing enemies.
Me again - loving the updates as always. Looks like it's definitely coming along well. A lot of the games I've been playing have ended, so I may just have to come join the game at last. In the mean time though, figured I'd throw some more possible answers and more at the proverbial Wall. I still think a Poison or "Venom" debuff applied to attacks for a short duration wouldn't be a bad idea for a Bee Themed set of Weapons. Alternatively, a Slow from a "Honey" type of Effect, or more is always good. Half tempted to pull an FFXIV again here and drop a, "Why not go with 'Final Sting,' and just give someone a really big hit that causes them to faint/die in turn?" but that's a little too on the nose, no matter how funny and silly it can be. I could also see an Argument for keeping the Slime in the Underworld. Perhaps have it be available from a Quest to "Examine the Thicker Underworld Waters," or the like, and have it join you. Would allow you to keep it there without issues. Alternatively, it may be the only Slime with a "Soul," so it ended up there, and you can spin some interesting narrative to it. Everyone loves an Adorable little amorphous blob, after all. Finally, I'm loving how everything is coming along, once more. I can't wait to see what you plan to do for the next bit of progression. Oh, another thought for the Bee weapons, as it just came to mind. Why not a Rotating set of Bees? Use them as a Shield or Projectile, they can take a hit and either negate the damage entirely or just reduce it. But they may be able to be used as well to damage something in Melee Range, giving you a window to reduce damage or deal a small burst. I think that'd be real interesting. Anyways, all from me again!
The bee-themed sword sprite looks suspiciously like the one in Terraria - the Beekeper.
