I recently got this GPU because of my small case. I'm so glad you made a review of it, I think you're the only one at the moment that has covered this card in such detail. Thank you Devyn! :)
Man i haven't heard an actual main stream artist's song on a youtuber's video for many years. kind of nostalgic hearing one instead of a copyright free song.
For some reason I really like blower style GPUs and this AI top is one of if not the best looking blower cards I've seen period, love the all metal design
There is no noise! There is sound yes! Noise? No! Turbine sound on this is par with EVGA 2080 ti . It’s actually a silent card blower comparative speaking.!
In blender I designed a hypothetical 4.8l case that would fit a 4070 ti super, obviously haven't tested it, thermals of the cpu would probably be shocking for anything higher than 100w, I doubt the gpu would be much better, but it's fun to see what is theoretically possible
I have the Velka 7 v2.1 with the inno3D 4070ti super and it does well, acoustics are probably a little better being a 2 fan cooler, the only issue I'm having is the internal patch cables can't run 4K with a higher refresh rate without eventually breaking down with random black screens, so having to run 1440 on a large screen 4K screen, lets just say the difference is obvious, I contacted Michael and his suggestion was to buy and fit a cable from Aliexpress, mmmm, premium price case with cut price patch cables, other than that the build quality is great
For gaming it's always best to get the good enough cpu that just ensures future-proofing. I like have a paired a 12600k with a 3080 12gb they didn't have 10gb at the time or else I would've gotten that
I believe it's called AI because of it's blower cooler, server friendly design and a power connector in the front (like the quadro and rtx A cards have). This means it's better build for server chassis, which is probably why they're trying to sell it as a gpu for AI servers etc.
Can you take off the gpu side case panel and comment on whether there is a noticeable difference with the trouble tones in sound? cause that was kinda rough and I’m curious.
I think the noise might get to me at some point. There are so many other options out there for a GPU. I'd prefer a slightly larger case and a 3 slot 4070TI 16GB that is way less hot and quieter so I feel better hours playing and using the 3D capabilities and AI.
I love the velka 7, honestly prefer the v2.1 over the v3 lookswise but the pcie slot mounting on the v3 doesnt block the airflow like the v2.1 does and im kinda bummed about that
looks amazing! maybe you can try putting some foam or something between the case and gpu fans!! also 84c is the thermal throttle limit for nvidia, right ? you can raise that to 91c in MSI AB, also can try undervolting and cutting a few mhz from the clock speed for much lower voltage. you can then manually set the fan to max out around 90c and it should hopefully, perform even better!!
Would a 2.5 slot 4070 super work in this build or is it too large? The ai top you have in the video is some $300 more than other 4070 ti supers on the market that are 2.5 slot
I am sure there is a place in the market for this card, no doubt. But, at that noise level and temps, it is definitely not for me. I just need a different PC case which can accommodate a regular version of the same card, if 4070 Ti super is the card I must have in my setup. I expect temps and noise levels to be miles ahead of what I see in a gaming laptop, if I decide to for a sff pc.
If I were building a system today, and unfortunately I am not, I would consider the Ryzen 8700G. Much lower cost, better iGPU, I don't know if the performance difference would be worth going for a 9XXX series Ryzen over it. Last time I went with a blower type GPU was with the HD4870X2 and I am not approaching them again. Too much noise. Question as I got confused. The Cyberpunk 2077 footage you showed with path ray tracing, what resolution was it? Did you have upscaling and frame generation or not? I am talking about the 45 ish fps. Anyway, good video, thank you for sharing.
Risk of Feeling Dumb yippee seriously thinking about building itx build with 4070 ti super my main game is call of duty and thinking about productivity stuff like editing and recording
This PC built all say it’s 6 out of 10 because of the CPU it’s too much it’s gonna cost a lot of heat. I need a good balance. CPU just to make the PC more better to keep it cool.
Devyn, you’re killing it with these builds. This channel is such a hidden gem.
80.000 subs with this quality we are truely blessed
I purchased the same graphics card - it’s silent and turbine spools up gradually to maintain max 80dec C if anyone is wondering. It’s solid metal
Love the 4070 Ti design, except for the "Ai Top" logo.

@@sys-administrator Zing!
@@sys-administratorhow do these companies come up with these weird names and slogans all the time? less is more

@@martymcintosh5026it's justified, this card is specified for AI training
I love the throwback design of the GPU
A quick undervolt would improve the noise drastically for the blower card
Loving the Twenty One pilots music with this

Well there's a good reason for that - Hoping this YTuber doesn't find out lol
This is great, but now make the tiniest possible 4080/s build 2024 edition
For some reason I really like blower style GPUs and this AI top is one of if not the best looking blower cards I've seen period, love the all metal design
You won´t like the noise though, there is a reason why blower fans died, and a good one...83c and it´s as loud as a vaccum cleaner.
There is no noise! There is sound yes! Noise? No! Turbine sound on this is par with EVGA 2080 ti . It’s actually a silent card blower comparative speaking.!
Every time you upload one I get so excited keep up the great work
This card would've looked even better in a silver 7.2L Dan A4-SFX case.
Great video! Love the build! The build synced up with the music is hilarious!!
Good song choice on the building part! Got me there for a moment haha!
(For those curious, it's "At The Risk of Feeling Dumb" by Twenty One Pilots)
Love that you used Twenty one pilots as the background music
Your killing it right now bro
Really like it. Once noise and maybe dust filters are solved I would not go back to regular full-size cases.
dayum I didn't know that we've got actually small 4070ti super
I've been looking at that 4070 for so long.
Superb build video! More power to you my guy!

This is a great build. Nice little PC that is pretty beefy.
Keep on going ❤ Love this small mini itx
Can you do a video on undervolting this card and adjusting the fan curve with an in-depth review of the acoustics and performance?
I would like to see undervolt on the gpu how it's gonna affect the Temps and sound
Seems like my dream PC is finally here!
Didn’t know you were a TOP fan 😊
Edit: TOP being the GPU and “Twenty One Pilots”
The video features an Ai *T∅P* graphics card. 😉
I'm in love with that GPU!!!!!
Finally some new blower gpus

21 pilots
.........yes!!!
that 5:51 build start had me vibin'
At the risk of feeling dumb. 21 pilots.
Always add UV options, I think an interesting alternative how to lower temperatures and noise on such a small GPU😉 great video👍
Did anyone else think their spotify started playing out of nowhere ?
I was just listening to |-/ before getting on UA-cam. Haha
Also dope video, Devyn
Love your video man, i wish i can downsizing my atx pc to sff build
new viewer here. bro your studio lighting and editing is very captivating. Nice work

You are on your way to the top man
Do you plan on building in a midori 5L case?
didn't expect twenty one pilots blasting tru my speakers, nice lmao
I wish these parts were available in my country. I really love ITX PC but the import cost is too high. Love these videos ❤
Like the video, but the build montage music is awful

which one of your builds is the quietest?
all this build needs is to set the gpu power limit to 70% or so and bump the core clocks a bit with msi afterburner
Finally a card with 16gb that isn’t Radeon and is sort of small. Next is a case that I finally click with
First real comment lmao, I want an upgrade to my 6700XT but can't justify it as it plays all the games I need it to
With the 12GB of VRAM I think it will take a little while for that bad boy to start showing it's age. Unless you switch to 4k I'd save the money
8:40 if you are concern about noise, this is all you need to see. It's horrendous
Amazing! I like it 👍👍
Your SFF builds fire my imagination. So glad I found your channel. Thanks. Were those stock cables? And, what kind of Noctua paste did you use?
Came for a pc build and stayed for 21 pilots.
didnt expect to jam out to a pc build
🎉就晚了一点点,我装了4060ti后悔了没能早点看到这期😂

Thanks. In your opinion is this turbo card louder than older 20 and 30 series turbo cards?
What song were u playing during the build

Music really loud for anyone else?
Yeah. Some people like it, I’d rather have Devyn talk tbh. But cool editing I guess? Not my style, I know others liked it.
What a pity that this case isn't available in my country :(
What are the alternatives for this case?
What will undervolting to with thoses GPU temps?
What software is he using for benchmark? I find it very useful tro have total TDP
Can you recommend another cheaper video card for the Velka 7, please
If only I could get my hands on a velka case
BTW the song is good, but it is way too compressed. Did you hit 11 or 12 iLUFS ? UA-cam lowers your mix to 13 iLUFS so useless if you did.
I Always wait your videos ❤😊
nice taste in music bro❤
is there any similar case that I get somewhere in UK?
Will you build on a midori v2 5L case?
what song was that? 5:50 . the singer's voice sounds familiar.
Twenty one pilots: At The Risk of Feeling Dumb, on ‘Clancy’ the newest album
@@harrisonkline8681 thanks!
Could you fit a RTX 4070 TI Super in this as well?
this is literally it lol
Can you please elaborate regarding the GIGABYTE Aorus issue? I was just planning on buying one this exact motherboard.
When I was trying to flash the bios for Ryzen 9000 support, I didn't have the drive formatted to FAT32 so it wasn't working. User error on my part.
@@devyn.johnston Thanks for replying, wasn't sure if there was something faulty about the mb.
Does the AI Top fit the Dan-A4 SFX?

why not in the velka 5 or totally different midori 5L 🤔 there are more cards with 250mm?

4k, DLSS on, frame gen off
@@devyn.johnston Thank you.
Not switching the cooler fan hurts
this is great but I would never buy a blower card ever again 😅
it needs a handhold for portability
Another great video! My only concern is the gpu temps reaching close to 85°C. Will the gpu be fine in the long run?
How on earth did you use 21 pilots without getting a strike
This build is triggering my need to build another pc
Is this cooler enough to run 7950X3D cool!?
Video needs to be sponsored by velka lol
i want an itx case that can use 200mm fans.

non-NVIDIA manufactured blower cards seem mad dookie honestly. So many better options
