The third issue, about Irene is one of my favorites stand alone issues, gillen did a great job in this one in especific. Can't wait to see you're thoghts about x-men red from al ewing
After reading HOXPOX a few weeks ago I have been wanting to check this series out. Trying to make a reading order for myself of the Krakoa era to try and check out some of it. Also really neat to see Gillen back in X-Men all these years later. Especially since he is responsible for the best interpretations for Sinister.
Congrats on reading HoX/PoX! One of my favorite x-men stories of all time 👏 Before tackling immortal x-men I highly recommend reading at least Inferno as well, and if possible X-Lives / X Deaths of Wolverine. But I’d say inferno is key
@@TheComicBookReport yeah when I saw you bust those books out I paused and watched the inferno review you had. Do want to read that first. Any recommendations from you between HOX/POX and inferno or would you say they flow into each other okay?
@@ReallybigGoblin this era of X-books is tricky to navigate because it feels like each series adds something to the whole vision of Krakoa. Hickman’s X-Men run is a nice baseline for Krakoa storytelling but I’m not sure anything else is absolutely critical if you’re trying to read highlights. May need to read summaries of a few things if you’re skipping around
Definetly one of my favorite book from the Krakoan era. X-Men Red, Hellions , judgment day, Hickman's X-Men, x of Swords, sins of sinister, Sword, X-Factor and way of x, legion of x, uncanny Spider-Man are the ones I enjoyed the most
Nice! Yeah this one didn’t quite land for me but I know I’m in the minority. Still a lot I thoroughly enjoyed here but a bit different than what I had expected! X-Men Red is definitely on my list to check out as well. I believe that’s set with Storm on Mars or? 🤔📚
Have you read Immortal X-Men?

@@TheComicBookReport yes, magneto also has a pretty important part at the start.
@@VenAuri excellent! Thanks for the feedback :)
This run is excellent
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! :)
Gillen I feel like always delivers
One of my fave runs from the Krakoa era, feels like a super hero soap opera tbh
What a fantastic way to describe this 👏❌
