Hey Isak, thanks for the question. We offer clamp rings as well as a Lightfly (doughnut) mounting option that can allow you to attach BaseCamp to lenses without threads. However, we don't recommend using it on focal lengths below 16mm due to the chance of vignetting.
hello, I already have the base camp kit. If I understand correctly I can buy a mist filter and put it in place of my filter without buying the third part. Is that ok?
I am new to videography and interested in land/star scape photography. Is the BaseCamp appropriate or would the Summit system be best for these applications? I have ultra wide angle (12-24) and cine lenses.
Hey there, each are designed specifically for either videography or photography but in theory they can be utilized for either forms of content production.
Nice to see brands show some love to Danny!
Great video Danny!
I just ordered the base camp kit for 999.99 with the 1/4 mist. Cool to see a video on it the next morning!
Hey Conrad, you got that exclusive early access, nice! We are excited to hear what you think.
Oh yeah! That's looks awesome 🔥
Can you use it on protruding lenses without filter threads, such as the Tamron 15-30?

Correct! The third stage opens up new stacking opportunities and allows you to use grad-ND filters but not required for use of the Mist filters.
A quick question. The Mist filter (not heavy) would equate to what strength of Black Pro-mist? 1/4? Thanks
Hey Steve, approximately speaking the regular Mist filter strength would be closer to that brand's "1/8th" variation.
