I can explain the Mirinda commercial! It was actually made here in Mexico and aired sometime in 1999 (Fall if memory serves right), Nintendo was a HUMONGOUS deal over here at the time, so much the brand had it's own tv show called Nintendomania, which was... Imagine Nintendo Power, but as a TV show. It is generally agreed Gus Rodriguez, the man behind Nintendomania, Club Nintendo magazine and basically introducing Nintendo to Latin America, was responsible for the commercial with assets sent by NoA, as he had really a good relationship with NoA and they would send prototype build of games to show in the show and show how big dev carts are compared to the retail version and other things for the magazine, as well as managing the creation of original commercials (like that Link one) for the region and the dubs of US Nintendo commercials. Of course it aired later in arab regions the following year, OoT was still Nintendo's highest talked about game, and Mirinda is a pretty popular drink. I want a Mirinda now.
Yeah, I can confirm that the Miranda commercial did air on Arabic stations at the time. We actually air commercials from other countries and slap Arabic texts on it with dialogue either subtitled or dubbed depending on who's translating the commercials.

So, a main point of the Pikmin 2 ad that Jonii didn't mention: Its punchline is that the "pikmin" come to two dudes, who ask that they get *two hotdogs **with mustard included, and the ad read at the end highlights the feature of working with two captains in the game. It just stood out to me how the hook point of that strange ad was just "This time there are _two_ guys 😎"

Hey there I just randomly stumbled upon your channel and noticed that you cover cursed content as a girl who was born with a multitude of disabilities such as hydrocephalus and LMC while also dealing with being in the first stage of multiple sclerosis I have become a very Worthy investigator despite all of that. Honestly long story short I was not supposed to live past the age of 2 years old I had fluid on the brain and the LMC is a brain eating bacterial disorder that I got from my father's genetics unfortunately and I also got the LMC as well as the multiple sclerosis from him as well which really sucked and it still sucks. Although some good came out of it even though the LMC was cornered because of the fluid surrounding my brain instead of getting the chance to attack my brain and killing me at the age of 2 years old it instead had nowhere to go so it would attack my retinas and severely damaged my optic nerves which like I said rendered me completely blind when I was a baby causing me to overanalyze many things because I had to use my ears as my eyes and my brain as a projector as well. It's funny after all these years I finally have a little bit of a theory about myself and the theory is, what if I'm still actually completely blind but my eyes are being powered by my brain which is the projector. You see my brain like I said before acts as a projector as well as a memory storage unit I basically am like a computer chip I'm also multi-talented not only do I have both the photographic and identic memory but I have some wicked singing and voice acting skills as well :-) I also used to do stuff like sewing and many other things too until my doctor banned me from sharp objects. She also told me I couldn't go anywhere near heights due to the fact that when I was a baby in order to drain the fluid out of me they had to install a shunt but that wasn't until after they used a pea straw which took 17 hours because they were scared they were going to collapse my brain if they went too fast but despite it I somehow managed to put a bright spin on things :-) not much gets me down in other words!

You see my brain like I said before acts as a projector as well as a memory storage unit I basically am like a computer chip I'm also multi-talented not only do I have both the photographic and identic memory but I have some wicked singing and voice acting skills as well :-) I also used to do stuff like sewing and many other things too until my doctor banned me from sharp objects. She also told me I couldn't go anywhere near heights due to the fact that when I was a baby in order to drain the fluid out of me they had to install a shunt but that wasn't until after they used a pea straw which took 17 hours because they were scared they were going to collapse my brain if they went too fast but despite it I somehow managed to put a bright spin on things :-) not much gets me down in other words!
