Thank you for the insight about not using the UHMW...I build my table saw sleds out of red oak, dont want to buy those fancy UHMW strips that you see on UA-cam. The red oak runners swelled and didnt work when it got real rainy here, so I had to plane them down. Am going to use plywood from now on.
