For every beginner wondering how to do the 3:20 thing, since "Stroke to path" changed in the newest updates, you have to do: 1. Path -> Stroke to path 2. Object -> Ungroup 3. Path -> Union This way, you get the round-edged triangle as a single object with no stroke. After this, you are ready to put the rectangle up and do the difference. Hope it's helpful! :D
I've had Inkscape for a week now and started practicing right away. Lots of tutorials just to get the hang of things. Then your work on Inkscape started showing up again. Now I can observe and see the process better. Yeah, this program is so versatile. Great work! I love the Fire mountain and the Ice mountain.
At 7:08, how did you make the two top points of the rectangle move inward simultaneously? Loving your videos and learning a lot, thank you! These mountains are so fun🙂
I was wondering what your preferred method for clipping shapes was? I couldn't quite make out your process when creating the snowcaps etc. Are you duplicating the base shape then using it to cut out the snowcap shape? Or are you using a clipping mask / group keyboard shorcut so the snowcap nests inside the base shape?

Look at "show transformation handles for selected mode" icon from above bar edit path by nodes. And hold "shift" then!

You are right, I duplicate and then cut out it :)
@@grafikwork Cheers, thanks for that.
What is the version of your Inkscape?
thanks, very useful!
Nice to hear :)
Thank you!
Thats meisik.
What is "meisik"?
@@grafikwork incrible, u have a great job _+
Слава Ісусу Хрусту! Радий бачити рідний та близький серцю прапор внизу екрану. Автор (чи авторка) - ти шикарний
Дякую, друже! :)
bro how did you get that at 1:00 i couldn't do it!!
I combined the light blue triangles (Path - Union or Ctrl +) then I duplicated the blue triangle (Ctrl D) and cut (Path - Intersection or Ctrl *)
You can also use blur and a black circle for shadows.
I can't. Because I need file vector compatibility with Illustrator.
@@grafikwork I don't know what you said but you are right.
Look, if you open the Inkscape svg file with blur in Adobe Illustrator, then this blur will become raster.
@@grafikwork thanks
How did you copy the triangles like that ?
Just Ctrl+D
Thanks
can someone please explain what happened at 1:00! Thank you :)
Ctrl+* or path-intersection
Neither one of those functions does what it showed. I selected everything, clicked Path>Intersection and it gives me some weird slanted square thing.
The tutorial is good but it's just going too fast for me, even by slowing down the video, I have a hard time to follow :(
This is just the process of creating ;)
@@grafikwork Okay :)
Can u put the file to download in the comments
