Love it. It's inspiring to see someone just take their time with art. I've been stuck in this auto-trace mindset for so long. I also like the one active layer approach
@@grafikwork I gotta question, though. How were you hiding the sketch layer? I noticed it's on top and you worked on the layer beneath but I'm having to go to the menu and toggling visibility there. It really slows down the process
At 15:25, how did you get the duplicated object to not be placed at the top position, but directly on top of the selected object (which was underneath the dark tone object you just created). I'm guessing you change the behavior of the duplicate object in the default settings, but I wouldn't know where :P thanks!
Love it! And as allways with your illustrations, i learned a lot from this one. Like playing with gradients to suggest the way the light falls over her body. Wonderfull! The placing of the headset confuses me a little though. Especially on the left side of her head....Apart from that; great work! Greetings from a dutch fan!
So pretty! Man, I absolutely have to start with vector artworks. I'm experimenting with simple shapes etc in digital painting, but I'm not getting too much satisfaction.
Классно! Интересно смотреть как рисунок из плоского, добавлением нескольких теней и бликов становится объемным и живым. (и спасибо за хоткеи в левом-нижнем - помогают понять что нажато)
What's that shortcut you use to trim shadow to object you planning to put on (to not go out its plan, like shadow of clothes on skinn) that ctrl+* ? Thats so fast.
This goes automatically to my favs. I think your skills are really good. Do you have a list for your favorite vector artist? Not exactly a rank but more like your reference
Thank you! I can recommend the channel with excellent tutorials ua-cam.com/channels/EQXp_fcqwPcqrzNtWJ1w9w.html And a lot of great artists on artstation.com (not vector artists, but really talented)
I'm so glad you answered my first question I had when watching this. I was like "Sure, this is cool, but how long did it take before it got time lapsed?". But now I know.
@@grafikwork ah ok awesome, saw those lines you drew from the start and thought it was with a mouse. I tried drawing with a mouse and got so frustrated that I almost had to get a new one. Thanks for replying, you saved me a mouse ;) keep up the good work!

What you will prefer Inkscape or Ai , if someone ask you to become a graphics designer Like you.
Both :)
did you use tab for these drawings?
I use a tablet for sketching and painting. And of course I use my mouse for vector graphics.
@@grafikwork sad don't have a tablet.
For sketches, you can use pencil and paper. A mouse is enough for vector graphics.
@@grafikwork but don't have a scanner too..
Use the camera on your phone.
Do you make use of a drawing pad or do you draw with your mouse?

Physical of course :)
It's not seems you use Inkscape, 🤨
Really? What I use in your opinion?
@@grafikwork GIMP with little modified interface similarly to Photoshop 🤨
Haha, watch the video to the end. I used Krita for the sketch, and then I used Inkscape.
So it is possible.
Yep :)
Lol it's not inkscape 😂😂. You are doing this in Krita
Sketch in Krita of course. Vector in Inkscape.
Watch the video to the end.
