@@Pluscelamemechose Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. America has been shown to have the highest ratings of bad mental health in dogs, and it's mainly due to the media of what people say "You should and shouldn't do" and listening to the wrong advice, but also they do too much for their dogs and treat them like kids, when that's not what they are. They don't learn like people do, no one method works on all dogs while training. A good owner needs to find out what works that's not harming the dog, or making the dog fear you or anything in any way One other issue is that people tend to belive the alpha omega theory which has been proven false, and that you shouldn't try dominating your dogs

The thing with pitties is that they are incredibly strong animals, so when their owners don't train them properly, they can do a lot of damage compared to other breeds. Pitties are honestly such sweet and loving dogs, they just need owners that can treat them like the loving individuals they are and not like a status symbol or toy. My nans pitbull saved her from a housefire after she dozed off with a cigerette in her hand, he lightly bit her ankle to wake her up, she would've been dead if it wasn't for him. Pit bulls happen to be the most affectionate, sweetest, most loving dogs. And they will do anything for the one they love. We have to see the pit bull for the amazing companion he/she really is.
Even maul them to death.
In many states, owning Pit bull is against the law and you may not be able to get insurance for Home Owner and Renters.

I have to agree after reading all the comments from owners......I'm not seeing legit complaints. They're giving good reports. You're right Mona G......the breed isn't the problem. Bad-Owner cover up. Pitties taking a bad rap.

Awwwww💓 my pittbull Shelby RIP saved my life from a home invasion as well, years ago. My angel forever. 💓💓💓💓
What a sweet life to have been yours for a time. I believe our fur babies await us in heaven.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

It’s not the dogs it’s the fact most owners do not train their furry babies (dog) correctly.
That’s it!
100% correct! People are the problem not the dogs.
You got it right!
A good owner needs to find out what works that's not harming the dog, or making the dog fear you or anything in any way
One other issue is that people tend to belive the alpha omega theory which has been proven false, and that you shouldn't try dominating your dogs
It’s not you , it’s the fact that your statement makes you sound like a rambling idiot 🤨wtf the woman and the dog did everything right
Pit bulls are amazing
They are nicknamed “nanny dogs” for a reason. They are great with kids and will protect their family.
oh you mean how they eat them? yeah
“Great with the kids” You obviously haven’t been listening to the multiple cases where children are mauled by them, have you?

I know this is older but I love this! WTG Tip! My neighbor has a pitbull and she's the sweetest dog until you need with her family or me. She literally knows she's always welcome in my home, I open the door and she goes to the bed and chills, or she gets out toys and wants to go out and play, plus she knows where I keep treats for her 😉. They have a pug puppy and their pitty is so sweet and caring with him, it's awesome to watch. They get a bad wrap but it's because of their owners not them! Any dog can go bad if they have bad owners.
I’m so happy we lifted the ban on pitties in Denver. Owners need to be responsible in training these loyal beautiful beasts.
To be fair...they dont actually need to be trained more rigurously to be good than any other breed. Just alot of nasty people get their hands on them and abuse them and intentionally train them to be aggressive and theres where the problem is...shitty people getting dogs.
@@starriw8050 not training a Chihuahua doesn’t have the same consequences as not training a strong breed like the pits, that’s the point

@Benjamin Muller yes sir!!!!
Neat fact....pit bulls used to be referred as "nanny dogs" because parents had them watch over their children. Pits were known to protect children from getting in bad situations and from (of course) bad people. That was of course before assholes trained and forced them to fight resulting in pit bulls getting a false "viscous" reputation.

Pit bull or staffie are ban in UK. About 200-300 are put down every year. You can't breed them, abandon, or give them away. You also need a licence, insurance to keep one. you also need to put your dog on a leash and muzzled in public. You also need to keep your dog under control in your home (15 yr girl mauled to death at friend's house) as well as in
public. They unpredictable, that is the danger.
@@TheKillaMike1 by the way I was referring to pit bull terrier, one of the banned breed in UK.

Guy was cutting through my backyard (empty lots on both sides of me) he was too busy texting and pants were too low, I gave a verbal warning but he was distracted. Long story short, he merely received a flesh wound that required no more than a bandaid and he stayed on the SIDEWALK afterwards 👍🏾

Amazing pittie...I have one myself...best dog ever!
Thank you for this! Pitbulls only get bad press and not the good press they deserve!!
He also shares a home with a cat and has lived with a pair of budgies before as well.
