I few years ago there was an adorable puppy tied up outside of a cafe that I was leaving. He was crying and in distress because his owner was inside the cafe and too far away from him. I comforted, petted, and scratched him for a couple of minutes, and reassured him that his "mom" would be back soon. The experience gave me a high for about 10 minutes after.
"Forget the people we talked to earlier, I want to get to know this dog." This guy is literally me, love all the dogs I meet and want to get to know them better.
