    I had extreme dandruff from 4th grade all the way until I graduated from high school I would hate going to barber shops cuz I didn’t want them to say anything about my dandruff . So I started to cut my own hair when I was in high school . Nothing professional just a basic cut . Just one more thing I tried head and shoulders royal oil shampoo and conditioner and that was one of the only shampoos to pretty much clear my dandruff . And by clear it i mean 2-3 days dandruff free no flakes or dried skin . (I recommend to use shampoo and conditioner )After that they come back but as soon as i use the shampoo it clears them up . I pretty much use it everyday so I’m good for now lol . You should try it . I have use all kind of shampoos all they did was clear my dandruff and then large patches would come out . Now I can wake up and my pillow isn’t filled with dandruff . I have psoriasis and eczema btw

    I still can’t really fade too well, but since I started using scissors on top, I’ve got my hair doing that flippy thing at the front like you’ve got in the thumbnail. I feel like it’s my signature look now.

    • @EB-dh9gg
      @EB-dh9gg 7 місяців тому

      Howd you get it like that, just grew it out for a long time?

    • @-chris-
      @-chris- 6 місяців тому +1

      @@EB-dh9gg the front is not all that long. But I pull it down with the comb, a bit like it looks in the thumbnail, and then blunt cut it in a “swoosh” shape, where it’s longer on the side that I part on.

    Could I style my hair with some sea salt spray as a pre styler, then add some sort of texturizing powder to style hair?? What are your thoughts

    • @AlexKouras
      @AlexKouras  Рік тому

      I think the texturizing powder would suffice without sea salt spray if you're looking to add thickness and texture. The two together may be a bit much. But if you want to see how it goes, definitely try out both for a few days and let us know what you think.

    Hey Alex, I really appreciate your work. I started cutting my hair at home last year, however there are still some things I don't understand. Is there any chance for you to make a video where you slowly and detailed explain how to properly soften up and flick out the line? I mean like a 5-10 min video where you first show slowly how to do it correctly and then doing it slowly with a clipper. Unfortunately as a beginner I can't keep up with the explanation in this video

    • @AlexKouras
      @AlexKouras  Рік тому +1

      Absolutely. Give me about 1 month and I’ll have something ready for everyone 👍

      SD will never go away 100%. It's a chronic issue. All we can do is control and tame it the best we can. My SD is incredibly better today than it was at the start of this channel 3+ years ago. What you see today is more so dryness than anything. My scalp shows the worst of it, but my face and my chest are nearly perfect compared to how it used to be.
