I'm a huge fan of the soap cutting and soap curl videos and the trick to it is having a soft buttery soap, like ones that are high in glycerin which makes the cutting safer and easier. Also you have to let the soap dry for a while to get at super crunchy effect on soap curls and easy knife cutting for later. Also it's great that you can reuse the soap.

For the soap, there's actually a method including a damp towel and a microwave to get it softer and thus easier to carve. I watched a couple of soap carving videos and the youtuber gave some tips on how to make the soap softer to carve, I suggest looking it up!!
Keeping up with Kenya this stuff actually isn’t toxic it’s because kids have been inhaling when there supposed to exhale and it’s actually not dangerous
What I like to do when I have glitter in water, is to take a jar, fill the jar with that water and some oil and create a pretty little "lava lamp" After some time when the glitter rises to the top, I take it out and pour the water out ^w^
With how much you talked about the safety hazards of the plastic bubbles, I was totally expecting you to do the same for floral foam... floral foam also contains chemicals known to cause cancer and people shouldn't have too much skin contact with it. Other than that, this was a great video and it's very interesting to hear about the process behind these clips!
Casey H I think they adjusted the ingredients since that was discovered but also they wouldn’t really make it illegal, because it doesn’t really touch your skin because it’s mainly for fake flowers and it’s not meant to touch your skin. So she wouldn’t think anything was wrong with it if it wasn’t illegal That probably made no sense sorry
Right! Even professional florists use gloves when working with it to minimize skin contact as much as possible, because of the harsh chemicals used to make it
Hey Joanna ! Floral foam is actually not that safe, if you come in contact with it often or touch it for a longer duration of time it can be dangerous to the body as it contains carbon black and formaldehyde. If you play with it, you need to wear gloves and preferably a mask so you do not breath in the dust that it creates.
It’s not that dangerous. My mom is a florist and she uses it almost everyday she will sometimes use gloves . Mostly bare handed and she lets me play with it sometimes.
Hello Joanna! I noticed that in the floral foam section you didn't mention that floral foam can be toxic as most floral foam is made from phenolic foam which contains carbon black and formaldehyde, these are toxic and prolonged exposure to these can cause cancer. I just think it's important for younger viewers to know that floral foam is toxic and that older viewers should know to take care when handling floral foam :))
r o s e my moms a florist (she makes flower arrangements) and I asked her and she said it wasn’t dangerous! Just make sure not to get it into eyes or mouth

It travelled around the whole school and I found it in the library, which is like the opposite where the glitter was. I’m pretty sure the whole school knew about it....
Its not the soap, the real way they do soap carve is covering the soap in all directions with a humid towel/paper towel (maybe? xD) and microwaving it, it softens the soap, and it still looks like perfectly normal soap

As someone who did a floristry course last year, I was told never to cut floral foam when it’s dry, the particles are dangerous if they get in your system. So when doing these... wet is better. For you own health.

I advise using some gloves for the floral foam crushing! I am not hating it’s just for safety. I had done some research and floral foam can cause cancer by touching it physically by hand. This is also a hazard cause little children can choke on it and floral float has some chemicals that can be inhaled and touched
You should've done more research on floral foam, it contains formaldehyde and other things that can cause cancer. Not only are you holding it with your bare hands, you're _crushing_ it.
violet roses 64 when I commented, another comment about floral foam was nowhere to be seen. Trust me, I looked. They must have all been at the bottom because there were none anywhere near the top when I posted.
violet roses 64 oh, and about your comment, I'd also like to point out that it seems she hasn't given hearts or replied to any comments referencing the dangers of floral foam, nor has she made a pinned comment about it or so much as put an edit in the description (which I'd hope she would do upon finding out) I assume that when she looked at the comments, it was while there were no floral foam comments anywhere near the top. My guess is that she didn't see them. If she has seen them or done more research for herself and has not pointed out her potentially dangerous error (while she went on and on about the risks of plastic balloons and warned to absolutely never touch the stuff), I'm quite disappointed.
You did the slime pressing wrong, try using the grate utensil and pull up as usual, then take the slime off, then crunch, do not press back down using the utensil

Joanna, when you cut soap, you need to heat it up in the microwave by covering it with a damp paper towel. This with make the soap softer and easier to cut. When trying to make soap curls, heating up the soap also helps make the soap softer, making it easier to create curls. Once the soap cools off, it hardens back to normal creating crunchy soap curls. If the soap starts to get hard while cutting or making curls, just cover it back up with the damp paper towel and place it back in the microwave.
Just a warning When using a knife to cut thing you should never cut it towards yourself, always do it away. If not there is a high chance of you cutting yourself

You should've done more research on floral foam, it contains formaldehyde and other things that can cause cancer. Not only are you holding it with your bare hands, you're _crushing_ it.
She knows that know because someone else commented that
violet roses 64 when I commented, another comment about floral foam was nowhere to be seen. Trust me, I looked. They must have all been at the bottom because there were none anywhere near the top when I posted.
i guess running over it with a car is better
Lucy Heartfilia still not great, those harmful substances will be going into the ground and such.
violet roses 64 oh, and about your comment, I'd also like to point out that it seems she hasn't given hearts or replied to any comments referencing the dangers of floral foam, nor has she made a pinned comment about it or so much as put an edit in the description (which I'd hope she would do upon finding out)
I assume that when she looked at the comments, it was while there were no floral foam comments anywhere near the top. My guess is that she didn't see them. If she has seen them or done more research for herself and has not pointed out her potentially dangerous error (while she went on and on about the risks of plastic balloons and warned to absolutely never touch the stuff), I'm quite disappointed.

In the Philippines, when I was like 5 (2013) I remember seeing those bubble things. I didn't use it because I didnt know how. I got to put on the paste, but not blow it. I AM SO GLAD I SAW THIS VIDEO.
I always loved the plastic bubble BUT NOW I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE
the floral foam is way more satesfiyng WITH NO glitter. :(
exactly! Glitter makes it all messy
yea ikr
I personally do not enjoy slime, floral foam, and kinetic sand ASMR as much as other types however this video was extremely relaxing. Thanks!
“This floral foam is safe”
Uh no.. HAVE YOU SEARCHED “IS FLORAL FOAM TOXIC?!”

Lmao
I think for the soap cutting one you just took the wrong kind of soap 🧼
She needed a softer soap I think
For the lush ones, you do not have to add glitter, but it makes it more aesthetically pleasing
she could also use biodegradable glitter
Thank you for helping Jackie from NerdeCrafter fight her battle you earned me as a subscriber now
I personally like the shower jellies that are cut with hot knives better, but that can be very unsafe😞
Its okay, im here for a good time, not a long time
To make soap cutting easy, you can keep the soap in hot water till it is soft enough. P.S: I love your videos!😊
I have a dare for u! Play with the yucky slimes in super slime simulator!
Which ones? To me that app sucks
"I just stuck with one." *makes like ten*
Use biodegradable glitter
You can rinse it and stuff
Joanna, when you cut soap, you need to heat it up in the microwave by covering it with a damp paper towel. This with make the soap softer and easier to cut. When trying to make soap curls, heating up the soap also helps make the soap softer, making it easier to create curls. Once the soap cools off, it hardens back to normal creating crunchy soap curls. If the soap starts to get hard while cutting or making curls, just cover it back up with the damp paper towel and place it back in the microwave.
Just a warning
When using a knife to cut thing you should never cut it towards yourself, always do it away. If not there is a high chance of you cutting yourself
MY *satisfy meter* IS CRAMPING MRS PUFF!!!!!
Thank you for the info on the bubbles! I was about to purchase some but now I think I'm going to save my 5 dollars...
"Safe and easy to do." My sister works at a flower shop that makes fake flower arrangements and they use floral foam, it's toxic.
Those balloonies aren’t banned in Australia we have different brands

😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
sorry if i kinda scared u not hate or anything.
i recommend popping slime bubbles with the palm of ur hands. Not the tips of ur fingers. It can get all the bubbles at once and get a nice sound 👍🏻
but sometimes the pops are louder if you focus with your fingertips and personally i like it
But why the emojis?
Um..wha-
I am watching this right before I am going to bed and I am falling asleep because it is so relaxing! Thank you !
