Cool tires, nice video - but "Traxxas uses a looooot of plastic bags"... Plastic bags are one of the main environmental problems worldwide, so everyone has to decide, if using a looooot of bags and producing a lot of plastic waste is a positive point.
donaldsneffe Thank you. I was just pointing out how they keep parts from getting scratched. It’s even a pain having to try to cut them all open. I’m sure they’d be okay without them. It would be interesting to see them use a better packaging method in the future.

The RC Genius yes, these wheels should fit most if not all 1.9” tires. As long as yours aren’t glued onto the factory rims yet it would be an easy install. Thanks for watching!
Nice video. Like the narrow tires and great looking tread pattern. At 4:06 mention you foam & air fill. Does the foam come in a different grade of stiffness? And what is air fill? Can you add air to the tires like real tires for different road & trail conditions? Looking forward to your trail test.
Scott Harris Thank you! I also like the looks of these tires. There are many different kinds of foams that can be purchase, they usually vary by size and stiffness. I believe you can also choose between closed or open cell foams. I’ve never tried aftermarket foams but many people sear by them for their competition rigs. On the “air filled” side it’s basically just sealing your rim and tire so that it is air tight. This acts like a real aired down tire because it’s difficult to pressurize them. I have seen a set of rims from G made that can be pressurized but I have no idea if they are still in production. On some trucks I run only air but I’m going to be running a combination of foams and air once I get the tires sealed just because it’s fairly heavy. Thanks for watching!
