- This is a pretty quick update video for you on our Traxxas TRX-4 Sport Full Upgrade Project Truck as we’re just going to assemble our tires and wheels. The project rig is getting loaded up with Traxxas options and here we’re going to show you the optional Traxxas Beadlock wheels and rings. We’re sticking with the Canyon tires to roll on as they are a great factory tire for crawling. The assembly of the wheels and tires is getting us closer to wrapping up this project. We want to drive it soon and of course show you this rig in action!

So I’ve had mine built up like this since day one of the sport. I have every part as you as well my problem with the traxxas beadlocks and the alum parts for the portals, is the inner ring on the wheel rubbed the alum portal cover especially in the rear . Did you have this issue?

I ended up buying a pair for my TRX-4 Sport as well, they're pretty awesome. After putting them on the truck the tires are very unbalanced, do you have any suggestions on how to get them balanced better? Thank you

Are these plastic wheels? I am looking non plastic wheels for my TRX sport.
Can you use any tire with these or did they do the typical traxxas thing and make it proprietary
How did you get the mud guards on the sport? I can’t find the part number for them and I’m not sure what all I would need
Nice wheels. Need to wash all the wax off the tires though 😬. Its always a pain to wash the mold release off though

Yes sir its looking awesome 👍🏻💯 have you tried the stock tire mod? It really makes a difference cutting out the small inner lugs 🤜💥🤛

What foams
Don't always agree with your videos, but enjoy watching. No music in crawling or testing drive vids. (My preference) And I think most. We more enjoy the sound or quietness of the vehicle. Would like to hear how it sounds. i have 4 crawlers. My favorite when I want to go out nice and mellow. Is my Vattera Suburban, It's so nice and quiet (It's my relax truck). So please no more music when running vehicles. I'm also not against making some noise with nitro (just no music with it)
Hi i think that you do nice videos and all, but this one i whas looking forward to see, just becuse im never done beadlocks before and whould like to see if the traxxas whas easy and so. But you totaly skipt the hole procces of ptting them together, what to think of and all that, sure it is not fun to watch all 4 but 1 could have been fine just to see how it is done proberly.
Hans kristian Knudsen I showed one side in the fast forward section. It’s pretty much repeat for the rest. I didn’t voiceover, but that part of the video shows how easy these are to assemble. I’ll put a separate beadlock assembly video on my to do list.
So there's no glue on the tires at all? Are these beadlock type tires a common upgrade for other cars, then?
bloodgain There’re most common on crawlers just because you’re putting so much stress on the wheels and tires trying to grip rocks so it can tear off the glue. where when you have a bead locks the tires are very secure it’s a great upgrade also there’s no glue
