The profile view of this new 4Runner is very reminiscent of the 2007 generation. Is it just me? I wish Toyota would’ve kept the current generation while upgrading the tech specs.
I agree with the latter part of your comment - I literally just want an ORP 2024 but with updated tech specs. I have a hard time justifying the $$$ for the absolute basics - I know I could mod it but frankly that’s a heck of a lot more money/pain in the ass on top of the initial price 😕

Yeah easily over 60k. Looking at what used 4runners still sell for a brand new design will be insane with dealer mark up. Most dealers wont come down on price too because they know they'll sell.
Landcruisers are already going for MSRP. It's really not hard finding a dealer that sells it at sticker. Even in SoCal im able to find two who won't markup. Heck, even with a shit dealer like Autonaion Irvine i was able to talk them down on the markup.

The latest problem that has surfaced is there is no bump stop on the suspension so the front shocks are busting through the top of the shock. Turbo problems, transmission problems. The tacoma, the LC and coming 4runner share the same suspension, and the same problems will happen. 60K+ dollars forget about it.
The button is a great feature. On my 2024 Highlander Limited, it’s next to the steering wheel. Push it to turn the start stop feature off. Do it as soon as I start my car. Takes one second. What is the function of an air dam? 🤷
@@davidpalmeri3237 aero, folks taking it off in the Tacoma got 1 to 2 less mpg so not that big of a deal if one doesn't like the look. They made it so it's really easy to take off, just 4 bolts
Nice!! Fingers crossed it will not have the same engine issues the Tacoma has.
What engine issues? What’s up with that?
@MissDemeanor-1 Which Tacoma engine issues?
@@joeimbesi5361 maybe he meant tundra lol
We can't wait for the 2025 to hit our lot! Great video!
😂 4 cylinder 😆
I like the rear better than the front. I don't like the side profile
Hi. I live in Canada and planning to buy a new car.
According to my budget, I’m confused between 2 options i.e.
Mistubishi RVR SE AWC and Hyundai Venue Preferred.
I drive around 200 km everyday.
Confused since Venue is good in terms of gas consumption and also the interior and brand name.
On the other hand, RVR is a 2.4 L engine with lots of power and big in size compared to venue.
Can you please suggest me an option since I don’t know which one will be best considering Long Term Reliability.
Neither one is a good option for long-term reliability
I heard it doesn't have bump stops on the frame it has it in the shock Tower are the Land cruiser hazard on the frame 🤔
Either put a solid v6 in or install a hybrid to improve fuel economy. Stop with these inline 4s
You can thank your Democrat government forcing so many EPA regulations on car manufacturers.
This looks just like the 4th generation 4Runner.
yes, it does the absolute worst looking gen.
Finaly first view and cmt 😎
Blom masuk indonesia toyota 4 runner terbaru
Why is the infotainment screen so laughably big?!
Good job! Straight out of 2019. Great video!
It’s nice
The design looks like a Highlander
Its basically what the Highlander should be. Reminds me of the older generation highlander a couple decades back. Only now selling on the 4runner name.🙄🙈
4 cylinder?? 😂😂 HARD PASS... too large of a truck for 4 cylinder .. They just threw parts together and said TADDAA!!! our 2025 model. There is nothing platnum about this 😅
Everyrhing is FULL SIZE EXCEPT the engine lmao. This hurts to watch
It is unbearable to watch. Cant imagine how unbearable it is being a full cabin🤦♂️
With all the issues the new tacoma and tundra are having this will most likely have problems too. Probably best to wait a couple years.
I agree, defiantly wouldn't be smart to get the first year.
Wrong. These are built in Japan.
@@PeterGreter So is the Lexus LX and they're having the same issues as the Tundra. Japan is not a safe bet now.
Huge mistake with the elimination of the V6 🤦🏽♂️ Toyota has lost their minds. I’ll be searching for a last generation re-owned 😃👍🏾
Did the same with no regrets. Toyota really dont know what they’re doing lately. 🙄
Love 4Runners, but really dislike how the front looks exactly like a Tacoma. Hope to have my mind changed later.
Turbo 4 cylinder? Not excited about that. Pass. Quick, find a 2024 still on the lot naturally aspirated V-6. Let other buyers and engineers work out all the recalls and quirks on this new generation..
After the Tundra and '24 Tacoma failures... I would hold off on buying this vehicle. Unless you like pain.
The latest problem that has surfaced is there is no bump stop on the suspension so the front shocks are busting through the top of the shock. Turbo problems, transmission problems. The tacoma, the LC and coming 4runner share the same suspension, and the same problems will happen. 60K+ dollars forget about it.
I'm so happy that I bought a 2023 limited last year. The 5th generation models (with proper maintenance) is BULLET PROOF!!! Sorry TURBO = TROUBLE!
Wow that 4Runner is amazing! ❤
I see a button for the Stop/Start feature NO GOOD 👎🏽
The button is a great feature. On my 2024 Highlander Limited, it’s next to the steering wheel. Push it to turn the start stop feature off. Do it as soon as I start my car. Takes one second. The BMW ( at least the X1) requires you to go into the screen every time. The start stop feature itself is another Government emissions requirement.
Just bought a 2022/23 F150 Fully Loaded and it blows this thing away. I'm coming from a Highlander that we loved but we have two of them so a truck makes sense for 2nd vehicle but I was not impressed at all with the Tundra, Tacoma, or Land Cruiser they were ugly in person and the Ford blew them away as well, especially the interior and features for the money were not even close. Add to this the reliability with Toyota has not been stellar lately and I'm a kid in a candy store with this new Truck!
Ford can't even make bicycles
@@tberjashi6707 yeah, they're just the most popular vehicle the past 30 years in the entire country, they don't know what they're doing LOL
@@Yankees121205
Wait until your Ford hits 90,000 miles and then you'll see, I've been working on cars for over 25 years , I do agree all new cars now are made with toothpicks but Toyota/Lexus still does a better job
@@tberjashi6707 I purchased a bumper to bumper warranty for the next 130k, I researched reliability on my model extensively along with my friend who has owned a shop for 30 years working on trucks, he told me if you're on top of maintenance, I'll get plenty out of the truck, I'm covered either way
