What a great hunt, and great video. Kurt, thanks for being so un-selfish and spending most of your time recording everyone else's finds for our viewing pleasure. I know you loose out on a lot of digging time when there are so many people swinging coils. Very happy to see you got enough time in to find that great 1812 button and some large coppers. And I agree with some of the other comments...... time for a new " Hoover boys " intro with Bob included. God knows he has earned it.
It’s impossible to choose a favorite episode Kurt but this comes close. I was able to give walking tours of a barrier island in Tampa Bay known as Egmont Key. It was fortified during the threat of the Spanish American War and the war of 1812. No detectors are allowed on the island- even though I had already made several donations to the small museum on the island. The reverence you have for the items you find is nice to see. The items found and the people finding them is what makes this such a great episode. Think that all these items were laying in mud underground, essentially forgotten and lost. Soo cool that it’s now part of a collection.
Fantastic day you guys!!!! Way to go BILL!!! To bad Bob! Leo's silver wheatie is great! Brad doing some pickin in the field with candlestick holder and Kurt the true leader sacrificing 4 slick ricks! WOW WHAT A DAY!!! I'M SO JEALOUS
I love it when Kurt whips out his button book. That War of 1812 button is a nice piece of history! Bob came through again... Nice score for Bill too... Another great video from the Hoover Boys!
Wow, what a crazy day! Snow is killing this weekend, but I have three days next weekend. It can't rain all three! Will PM later. thanks, guys for making me green like an IHP!
Incredible invite from your friends! Bob's Mass. copper is a screamer, Brad's silver flatty and the Super Deep candlestick is something else! Two war of 1812 script A's and a boat load of flatties and Coppers! What more could you ask for besides a serious case of rigamortous getting out of the truck, LOL! Thanks for sharing Kurt and HH
Enjoyed all the discoveries. Farmers permission made the hunt a memorable outing. Unbelievable treasures are still out there, will attempt my hunt after deer hunting season. Seeking the ultimate lost treasure of the south.
I have to say I'm impressed. I'm soon to be 67 and I was thinking I'm to old, but you guys inspired me. I keeping my detector, and I'm going to go out and hit it for a while soon. I won't last no 13 hours, but I can work my way up to it. Thanks so much for shearing.
Simply amazing hunt guys! Great finds all around: Bob's Mass Copper, 2 Script A buttons, a silver button, key date Trime, etc., etc, etc,... what a sick hunt! Great job and incredible video as always.
Without a doubt, this was my favorite episode of the Hoover Boys. I was on the edge of my seat with my jaw on the floor half the time, and the other half I was laughing so hard I cried a couple of times. One of these days, I hope I have the honor of swinging a coil with you guys.
Thank you for the kind words and support. You should see the stuff that goes on off camera. If you liked this wait till next week. I'm editing it now. The finds are ridiculous. Bobby has one of the best days I've ever seen anyone have treasure hunting. HH
That is putting in some work. Full board makes for a good day. Good to she Bill stick around the whole episode. Awesome video Kurt. looking forward to see what 2017 has in store.
Unfreaking believable! All that historic coming out of the ground. Absolutely love the War of 1812 artillery button!! Congrats to all of y'all of the finds!!!
Terrific finds guys, a wonderful "field of dreams" for sure. Brad polish that brass candle stick up and put it to good use with a red taper in it lit up and take a pic showing it off. Happy hunting and eat your lunch
Hahaha! Well thank you. Believe me. It I ever have an episode called "treasure found" it's not another click bait video. We found treasure. That would be fun...

"Cold as Bill's heart" Bwaah haaa haaa ! Stellar digging fest. I so wish the ground was not frozen. Remember, In Jersey everything is legal, as long as you don't get caught.
Your bottle of "foo foo" reminds me of a captain we named capt. foo foo. He had this habit with the "we" when talking about the work WE were doing, HE was never near.
WOW Guys! I thought you had a load of coppers last week in #102, Copper Time, but you killed it this week!!! Way to Go! Kurt, that colorful button appeared to be a technique known as cloisonné, utilized as far back as the ancient Egyptians. It almost certainly is quite old. But as an almost-as-old artillery officer, I was most impressed with your script "A" button. Congratulations!
Much appreciated! Thank you Bill. I will say. I had an absolute blast watching this weeks Stealth Diggers. Huge congratulations on all the incredible digs. Those guys are so awesome for doing that. In the world we live in to find people so humble is incredible. Love those guys like brothers.
That was one crazy day for you guys. I'm so jealous of you guys on the east coast. Saving that history is great! Brad is going to have to trailer a backhoe with him if he keeps hitting those deep signals. LOL!
LMAO. Kurt, that was one of the best videos yet. You guys rock to the max. Super great finds. If I were Brad I would definitely repurpose that candle stick holder. HH
What a super-cool host! That guy deserves a bottle of something or...something 😁 I know, I know...you want to thank me for volunteering gifts from you guys. I KNEW I was psychic! ✌️😎👍

Wow Kurt you guys killed it! Being from Mass I am excited to see that Mass Copper being found. I just found my first last month! Great video guys. -Mr. Digger
Kurt. Can I ask 1 more question? After months of swinging my AT Pro with Storm coil I have developed "tennis elbow". Have any of you Hoover boys had this happen from such a large coil??? Of so who and what did they do now, size down or suck it up?
Loved the War of 1812 Artillery/Albert buttons. Looks like a fabulous day that you didn't want to end - diggin' under the super moon. Brad - I've got a candle if you want to try out the holder :-) Neato!
What a great hunt! I don't know where to start. They are all great finds. I understand exactly how Bob feels. That's the way I am when I'm done hunting. GL & HH
What an awesome awesome day. I'm so jealous that you have area's you hunt where you are able to find some beautiful relics and coins. I just got the AT PRO for Christmas, but alas I have been laid up with pneumonia, so it will be awhile before I can take it out for a hunt. I live in the Northern Catskill Mountains, and that means I just might have to wait till the snow goes away. I can't wait to see what's in the ground up here. I have learned a great deal watching ALL of your video's. Thank you all again for an entertaining and educational video. Love you guys!!!
GREAT HUNT Boys!!! Kurt, your fancy ass little button is "Cloisonne" a techniques using enamel to fill in between a metal pattern Beautiful. Might be French or also heavily imported from China in that period. By the Way........You have our vote to formally include Bobby as the fifth Hoover boy for the 2017 video intro! That guy deserves it and makes us old folks proud. Happy Hunting, Happy New Year to you all and the River City Diggers are slowly putting together a little something to send you boys way to finish out the freaking winter. All holes matter......even dead ass frozen ones. Jim and Cindy Sayles
