I have watched your hunts for a good while now and you have paid your dues in full - you deserved all of the fruits of this hunt. You have kept going when the pickings were thin and few but you never gave up, l have the feeling this is just the start of truly wonderful hunts and thank you for bringing us along for this one. Best of luck in future hunts.
WOW! I must say, I started metal detecting in 81 to 83, and must admit if I found what you did I would say that it was the best day I had ever had. Glad that it happened to someone. Thanks for the video. Am disabled and don't go out and hunt like I would like to and am in Utah. Not a long term history to find great coins. I know what you found is possible and hope that some day I may have a great day like that. Thanks for the video. Would like to see an up date on the dates of the wheat pennies. Thanks Sam
EPIC HUNT, Congrats That's a ton of Silver and you know that there is more just waiting for you. I don't know what else to say other than WOW. I can only imagine the the smile on your face on the drive home. Did I mention WOW. Thanks for sharing this video!!
What an awesome hunt. I have been binge watching metal detecting videos for the last 2 days. Mine is coming in tonight and I am so excited to try it out.
That was an epic hunt, thank you so much for taking the time to film it. All those silvers are in amazing condition. Take care, good luck 🍀and happy hunting Mary-Ellen UK 🙋👍
Hey hey brother.. sweet coins and amazing piec3 of jewelry.. amazing hunt.. we wish you all the b3st in future hunting! Big suport fron your new friends and followers.. a metal detecting couple from southern Europe!🎉

Wow! There is no way on earth I could have stopped. I would have been out there with flashlights if I found a honey hole like that! I hope you go back! Grats on the awesome dig!!
The jewelry looks like it could be costume jewelry from the Art Deco period (1920s-30s). Might make sense seeing the dates of the coins...great days dig 😀 Cheers from Northern Michigan
(TimeSaver) WOW!!!!! I bow before you Beam you rock it my friend. There's nothing I can really say but WOW!!!! . If it was me I would of been there all night with my headlamp and swinging low and slow ..Congratz you rock and happy 100th video keep them coming . HH&GL cant wait to see what else you pull out of there.
Congrats on having such a wonderful bunch of finds! Looks like most of the modern stuff is being found by someone who doesn't have an e-trac! LOL. I'm sure you will be going back. Should be lots more deep signals after some heavy rains too. Congrats on your first barber half and all the others too. I really enjoyed watching the video. Thanks for sharing and HH, Dave.
it was probably dug before like you said, but by outdated equipment. just cant compete with whats available today. virgin sites and those older dug sites with outdated equipment are always somwthing. i just got the new white trx and minelab pointers both are very nice pointers. awsome video glad for you man.
The reason those squirrels were pissed off is because squirrels tend to bury their acorns and other nuts around their territory for winter. They thought you were digging them up. :P
EpicEevee No ! The squirrels were pissed because he found there stash! The MONEY! They buried all that money he found and the squirrels were cussing him out!
Awesome Beam! When I watch your videos I get stoked up to go hunt, the second item you found in your video is a brass pipe organ Reed, or from a pump organ again fabulous hunt I hope too find a place like that!
Amazing! I don't know how you stopped hunting - you must have been exhausted because it would be hard to walk away from that site! Can't wait to see what you find there next!
I was super thirsty. When I watch the video now, I wonder how I did stop. It was hard to, but in the end I should be able to return at some point to find some more good ones.
OMG what a hunt, so happy for you. I would hunt that area again and again. After the next big rain, I would hit it so hard. Next time make sure you bring a small cooler with some water and hydrate. Take good care of yourself your important to all of us.
Man you tore it up brother! I would have been happy for the year!! Thanks for sharing your Finds I know it's a pain In the u know what but you were able to get some great hi history pulled from the ground on video. Great Job bro! I'm just starting to get my finds on video but I suck at editing. I'm going to stick with it. And hopefully I will do fine and get a spot like you found. Baltimore Bottledigger
Thanks! I'm no Hollywood producer. I use Windows Movie Maker. Basically I created a template that contains my intro (beamdigger presents....metal detecting with an e-trac/at-pro) and the outro (thanks for watching). I then just drag all my clips in between and trim them down. Hope you get some videos up soon...I love watching other detectorists!
Hi BeamDigger.... What Detector are you using to find all the silver.... I own a Garrett AT Gold.... bought for Gold nuggets, doesn't work that good on Gold nuggets, tested with miners Gold nuggets, grams and OZ nuggets... Looking at getting a Minelab for the Gold Nugget hunting
Hey fellow Iowan! I'm new to detecting & have never done it before. I'm super intrigued with finding antiques. That being said, can you suggest what detector a newbie should get without breaking bank? I want something good quality, but since I've never done it before - I don't know if it's a hobby I will keep up on yet.
Good question! The answer is YES! I was in a Treasure Hunting (TH'ing) club in Sterling , Virginia and about 15 years ago three of our members founds a buried clay pot that had been plowed up and the plow spread 20+ gold coins around an area about 50 feet by 50 feet. One of the first coins found was a US $5.00 gold coin and the guy that found it rubbed the dirt off to see the date. These coins were all of uncirculated (UNC) so they had very little to no wear on them. The coin was taken in to see what he could get for it and was informed that his several thousand dollar coin was now only worth several hundred as it had a lot of scratches on it. He was one of the first Treasure Hunters (TH'ers) in our group that explained the real issues with rubbing coins that were fresh out of the ground. He now wears the coin around his neck in a bezel. So yes rubbing a coin can cause damage . Good luck to all and Happy 2017! ;-)
I have learned so much from your videos I got you subbed in. I recently found a cave on my property and would like any advice you may be able to share. Thanks Hambone
Well worth saving the brass you find to sell as scrap; it adds up. Many detectorists here in the UK also scrap 20th century bronze coins (the equivalent of your wheaties).
Hello, thats one great day. I was born and raised in Iowa, and metal detect mainly in Nebraska and Kansas. Whereabouts in Iowa was this field, I dont need to know exactly lol but what nearby towns ? Also what detector do you use, I got an old White DFX....super hobby !
Great hunt. I love the "family" of barbers. You could really tell you were excited. Are churches private property? If so, how do you go about getting permission? I know in Iowa we can not do state parks. Only the beaches and only at designated times. When you are doing parks, are they county or city? and how do I find out the rules for Polk County? What little info I find on line, seems to conflict a little.
Call the nearest park and recreation department, they can tell you who to contact for the area you want to know about. They should at least know whether an area is state/county/city.
Great hunt...but look at the mess you've made of the lawn...what are the rest of us to do with this "fallout"...deep sigh...it is so easy to be neat...bring a plastic bucket with you. Great hunt!! HH & GL!!
Wow! What a great day of metal detecting! You make me want to go out and buy a metal detector!
Wright Connection wright! lol

Thanks! That means a lot. I get out once, maybe twice a week to hunt. So finding a place like this is a dream come true!
After this amazing hunt.. it looks just like a beginning of a great hinting seasson🎉
WOW! I must say, I started metal detecting in 81 to 83, and must admit if I found what you did I would say that it was the best day I had ever had. Glad that it happened to someone. ➳ *Just Rub It. You know you want to.* - Loco Burro
Thanks LB...did you notice I didn't rub them? I know I could...they're mine...but I didn't. Well mostly I didn't. Ok I rubbed a couple!
Nice jewelry bits. One may be art deco.
You sure found a honey hole. Great hunt.
Did you have that amber stone checked out?? What was it? I was thinking maybe, Amber?
Hi BeamDigger.... What Detector are you using to find all the silver.... I own a Garrett AT Gold.... bought for Gold nuggets, doesn't work that good on Gold nuggets, tested with miners Gold nuggets, grams and OZ nuggets... Looking at getting a Minelab for the Gold Nugget hunting

Wow. What a hunt! Awesome.
-Mr. Digger
Thanks!
Awesome hunt that park must be loaded with old coins!!
It definitely is!
16:05 did you notice the symbols on the back of the pendant? Could not tell with the dirt but maybe Masonic! Great hunt, well done.
FINALLY ! Someone that takes care NOT to rub the dirt off. kudos
w rice why is it bad to rub the coins? does it damage them?
Good question! The answer is YES! I was in a Treasure Hunting (TH'ing) club in Sterling , Virginia and about 15 years ago three of our members founds a buried clay pot that had been plowed up and the plow spread 20+ gold coins around an area about 50 feet by 50 feet. rubbing sets micro scratches into the metal, and can devalue it some, depending on the coin. Always best to avoid rubbing if at all possible.
Outstanding hunt!!! -ORH
Awesome hunt congrats on all the silvers, IHP and wheats.
Thanks Forrest!
awesome, congrats on a great bu hunt.
Thanks!
I have learned so much from your videos I got you subbed in. I recently found a cave on my property and would like any advice you may be able to share. Thanks Hambone
What a find.. congrats man
Excellent finds! Question though. What was that 2nd thing in this video? I have one as well but have no idea what it is. Does anyone know?
I was cheering for you on that 07 dollar. What a phenomenal day.
Well worth saving the brass you find to sell as scrap; it adds up. Many detectorists here in the UK also scrap 20th century bronze coins (the equivalent of your wheaties).
Exactly
congrats. great finds
Thanks!

Thanks!
Thank you sweet baby Jesus! Finally someone who knows NOT to rub the dang coins!!
you need to go back to that fine spot and spin a few more times, you were on a solid klondike of fine tickets.....i likem - good luck....nice vid.
Thanks Max! A solid Klondike of tickets! I like that!
Wow! How amazing!
I'd like to start getting into metal detecting, do you have any recommendations on metal detectors? And the smaller spot ones?
Hello, thats one great day. I was born and raised in Iowa, and metal detect mainly in Nebraska and Kansas. Whereabouts in Iowa was this field, I dont need to know exactly lol but what nearby towns ? Also what detector do you use, I got an old White DFX....super hobby !
This was in northeast Iowa...it was a church dating back to the 1860s.
0:53 - Pump organ reed...
Great hunt. I love the "family" of barbers. You could really tell you were excited. Are churches private property? If so, how do you go about getting permission? art deco pendant! how neat!
Does anybody dig in your area lol!! Awesome hunt! My park and public areas your lucky to find clad!
Our parks are slammed as well, but if you're patient and persistent, you can still find good stuff.
+BeamDigger you can hunt our park for a month and if you find one wheatie your doing great!
Nice haul!! Do fill in the holes and take your junk with you??
Great hunt...but look at the mess you've made of the lawn...what are the rest of us to do with this "fallout"...deep sigh...it is so easy to be neat...bring a plastic bucket with you. Great hunt!! HH & GL!!
WTG guy...super nice and worth something
that's FREAKING awesome.
Thanks man!
