Wow Kurt, congrats man, can only shake my head after watching that video. Brad had me cracking up with the look into the cam clip, i was rolling! I've been watching all your vids, but on my smart tv and there is no access to the comments on the tv, so I had to come on the computer to comment after this one lol. What a hunt, and what a freakin field!!! Still have about a foot and a half of white stuff on the ground up here, it's killin me. I don't know if you saw it or not, but i did finally get a video up a few weeks ago, got a hunt in before the snow came, should be pumping em out starting in the spring and restore the universe back to it's natural state. For now i will have to keep living vicariously through you guys and your vids. Keep up the good work fellas!

ok, got a question for you on finding bent coins. Do you clean them up at home then straighten them out? Or just leave them bent? If you used a rubber mallet gently on a solid surface do you suppose that would do more damage than it's worth? like the 1/2 real @15:46 for example
I've never tried to unbend a coin. I've always kept them as is. I like the character. I have the feeling it would crack. Maybe heat it up first?

hey kurt. what do the silver trimes and other coins ring up as on the garret. im still fairly new to detecting and haven't found silver.
Trime around 60. Half Reale high 60's low 70's. Half dime 76ish, dime low 80's. Quarter high 80's. Half dollar low 90's. 2 Reales beeps between dime and quarter. Good luck

I envy the daylights out of ur incredible finds! Interesting note: while u were digging that 1924 dime I was thinking about a 1924 penny that I found in my change! I have been searching my change for 30 years and I have never found a penny that old!
