The lights look great man. A suggestion I would make is get a smart switch. You can plug them into the switch and have a remote to control them. I did that with the lights in my home garage. Been watching your channel for a couple years now. Been making me wish I documented my build more in depth and started something.
I'm a manufacturing consultant. That set up retails for $375. I can absolutely confirm it doesn't cost more than $75 to manufacture. Anyone interested in buying it for $250???
When I put in LED overhead lights I bought an adapter to make a light socket into a plug and ran the power out of my garage door opener. I wasn't really using the crappy 40w bulbs anyway. My panel has a light button so I can turn them on and off.
I hate to say it, but with all due respect... if you couldn't follow this, you probably shouldn't be installing electrical things. These are the most DIY friendly product you could ask for. Peace man, not being snarky.
I have not shared it previously, but I’ll send it in this comment. www.northerntool.com/products/ironton-auto-wheel-dollies-pair-1000-lb-capacity-each-61133?cm_mmc=Google-LIA&Google_LIA&Automotive%20%3E%20Wheel%20Dollies&Ironton&ogmap=SHP%7CLIA%7CGOOG%7CSTND%7Cm%7CSITEWIDE%7C%7C%7C%7C%7C2076951023%7C78255573002&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADpPfbOtMtcTUnB6YhZyiklFbrVb-&gclid=Cj0KCQiA-62tBhDSARIsAO7twbapVjhWnuqrU5JUbVa9rebmuQG9c1wNU5WRJVSuX5XosVsYkWXkdx0aAtG_EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
It's a whole project, the original motor's junk. But I wanna put something more modeand just get it able to drive. I need help sourcing parts and i'm on a budget
Or I might just end up selling it. Maybe you're interested in doing what I want to do to it. You might have more of a ability bility and better resources
@@b-eazy6663that's an expensive endeavor. To go "modern" you'll have to go d series or b series, which has been done quite a bit and some kits are available but there's a ton of wiring and conversion needed. It's mostly going to be full custom and something for a fab shop to take on or an individual who can make parts and do full wiring. I had a buddy with a 1981 civic with a b16 in it and he had to fab up mounts, rewire the chassis for all new digital signals, and make most of the wiring himself as a 92-00 civic is 100% different.
Hope you guys enjoyed! If you’d like to support my channel, please subscribe! It’s free 😃

I was planning on running the Lutron Maestro LED+ Motion Sensor Dimmer Switch ?¡ No Neutral required. What are your thoughts on that?
They look good!! If you painted the wood black on top it would even pop more.
I really would like to, but I do not have approval from the land lord haha.

Has anyone with these done a different pattern instead of a cluster? I would like to do them in either a L or Z pattern to fit my space.

Love the variety of this channel weather it be these last 2 videos, or the civic builds, huge inspiration.
Looks great. Can they be hard wired or do you need an outlet????
Expected a better tutorial. Bunch of cut scenes with the lights installed with no proper instructions

Don’t get all fancy on us, stay gritty
I’ll never not be gritty.
You should/should've paint the roof black. Either just paint it how it is for more budget. Or use drywall.
Looks awesome 🔥
i would get a wifi outlet that you can connect to an app so you can power on and off the lights from your phone without having to unplug em!
It looks amazing John! I think a 👍 from Babi means it’s awesome! 😁 Nice job. LY❤

Super sick, makes the civic look exotic.
