Although there are a lot more other car UA-camrs to watch but in my opinion you're one of the most entertaining
Agreed
Imo, becz he doing cool cars on your aaverage garage😂😂
And preety much he make it looks easy, something that we "could" do at home.. ( i dont have his skill though)
😅😅😅😅
Thanks so much guys, I appreciate it!
One thing to check is under under the tiles in about a month, my garage would trap condensation water under the rubber tiles, you may get a musty smell.
Especially since he washed the floors right before putting in the tiles. The floors still looked wet. Hopefully a non-issue.
Time will tell for sure.
Jap, you have the same with those "playing tiles for kids". The whole dust and dirt of your room will collect under it. And in a garage, there will be oil, fluids, dirt etc. A sealing, in my opinion, would be the better alternative.
Imagine one example: Where does the water go, when the car was in the rain. Under the tiles.
I see these tiles being a sh@tshow. Turn the cars wheels, on these, and they may just turn into a pile of rubber.
That is definitely gonna happen.
When you need to break down large pieces of plywood use some foam insulation board as a support on the ground and a straight edge and a circular saw. way easier and safer to break down.
Fantastic. Now you will be motivated to keep the garage well organized and spotless as you work!.
Exactly right!
Nice camera work at 18:53.
Changes look good. The lighting is always a huge improvement. Just amazing when you can see what you are working on. Can't wait to see the 997 finished. Been a journey.
What's cool is that I'm here right now when this is new before people see future videos and assume the garage has always been like this. Great work, way to maximize your space!
The amount of work you put in these videos is really impressive. Definitely one of the best car channels out here.
I appreciate that a bunch!!
"Gotta work with what I got" is the story of my life. Nice job on making your workspace a better place to be.
Haha same here!
Another inspiring video! Man, you really get it done, no matter what the challenge is. Garage came out sick, especially for the budget. I still think some big company should sponsor you and get you a legit shop with all the talent you have, especially for Porsches. But, watching you do what you do in a small home garage is what makes your channel so unique and your videos worth watching. Great Job!
I would love that! Maybe some day. And thank you!
The garage looks great!
That overhead lighting setup seems to be a favorite of a lot of the car folks on UA-cam.
I like it also.
What a transformation! Like you said, it was already re-done and wasn't bad, but now I bet you are more excited to work in there! Looks fantastic! Thanks for linking the products too! 👀
Love the garage transformation. Your editing continues to get better and better, too. I'm sure these upgrades make you feel even better about stepping out there.
wow the flooring makes all the difference
Sure does!
The lighting upgrades are a massive win.. makes working on the cars so much easier IMO. Flooring looks good. Interested to see how it holds up to jack stands, lifts etc with the car weight on them.
I've installed something very similar and there are 2 things I dont like. 1) they buckle under the weight of the quickjacks and regular jacks. 2) the liquids are going under the tiles, which makes me wonder what will come out of there someday....
5 stars!!! Love it!!! Looks soooooo clean!!! Need some lighting and flooring like that on mine 💪
Dang, all those wall mounted tools (vacuum, extension cord, power washer, etc) look great. Super clean!
Yes I love the stuff from giraffe tools!
Looks amazing! It’s inspired me to clean up and organize my garage on a rainy Saturday. 👍
Very cool you have everyone helping. Looks great 👍👍🙏🇬🇧
Garage looks awesome! That lighting makes a huge difference.
Good stuff, practical solutions for the every-day mechanic that doesn't have a pole barn or dedicated full size shop for their hobby!
Looks great and a LOT of good storage and lighting
ideas!
Man, amazing work!!!! Now I want to redo my garage space.
Looks great! Those tiles will make getting under the cars so much more comfortable.
Finding that out right now!
Looks great. I’m building my 71 Camaro and doing a garage remodel at the same time as well.
Awesome job Matt & well done helpers too!
Woow! Amazing transformation! Nice cars and nice garage! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Awesome job, Matt! In your own words, that garage is "lit".
I kinda liked the Rocky 1 vibe of the old version 😁. Amazing how much stuff you packed in and can still access.
Floor look super sick & lighting looks even better.Your garage now looks like somewhere you’d look fwd too work in.Bruv you definitely have that X factor when it comes to presenting.Aligned with the fact you fix cars that I absolutely love means it all gravy.Keep up your excellent work
Thanks a bunch!
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this one.
Looks great !!! love the lighting definitely need those !
I like the shape of the lights as well, Matt! I do wish the ceiling was smooth though! Now that the light shows off the texture. But very minor, illluminating your cars perfectly looks fantastic!
Too much work to smooth the ceiling lol.
Looks fantastic!! Nice and clean too!!
E30 hood leaning against tthe wall.👍 edit, looked back at your older videos. Clean car.
E30 coming back soon!
Wouw, this is looking very nice, well done 👌
SWEET!! It looks AWESOME
Great video man. I'm down for renovation vids, cleaning, restoring, improvement, etc.
wow, that looks incredible!
Looks way better! Good job!
Amazing work. It looks great
I came to this channel with your previous garage makeover, it's been 2 years now. congrats you are doing a great job 👍
Forever ago, thank you!
Dude!!! Super proud of your progress with this garage!!! Keep up the great work!
Thanks! Will do!
Great job Matt 👍
That’s a big transformation!
Great job Matt looks awesome
Awesome job now I need to do a make over on my garage starting with lighting as most of my fluorescent bulbs are dead or dieing. Love that led setup.
Lighting makes a huge difference!
Lets go!! Looks great boss.
Looks really, really good! I understand having to live with what you have size wise, but a couple of suggestions: one, I would look into what it would take, and cost to remove that pole supporting that beam in the ceiling. It might be less $$ than you think, and then you could work on one car in the middle of the garage, giving lots of room. You would obviously have to consult a professional before moving the pole, of course. And two, that outside area immediately outside the garage doors would be perfect for a roof/carport, so you could move one/both cars outside, and they would still be under cover, while you work on a third car (ie. BMW). A carport (roof supported by four posts) isn't that expensive, and you appear to have lots of room for it.
I've considered both of those! But it comes down to saving the time and money to just get a bigger property and bigger garage.
Every time you opened a door, I cringed. Thinking “this is the time IT happens.” Thank you, one less point of stress for me. It looks phenomenal.
Matt, love the garage man! I'm in the middle of a garage re-vamp myself and your vid gave me some "ideas." Thanks for posting and great job as always!
Glad to hear that!
Very nice!
Wow. Looks Amazing
Came out great nice job! 😎
Been watching you since your early bmw days... making the most of every situation. You da man. Respect!
Thanks for sticking around!
Matt, garage looks awesome but I gotta tell ya (as if it was not already apparent) You are a Great Uncle! That young man is going to remember all the fun he has had with Uncle Matt! Even better, he is learning some great skills and a never give up mindset! Good on Ya and have a fun weekend!
Oh, my 914….we are ready to test fire on Sunday! Wish us luck!
Kind words, thank you!!
Interested to see if that flooring lasts. Maybe paint the bottom shelf black.
I'll update in the future.
Looks awesome great job.👍👍
It looks great! It looks like your garage is a little wider than mine, and I'm jealous. I don't have room to work in mine unless I pull one of the cars out.
Looks great!
I must tell you, you are the only UA-camr I make sure not to press skip add for 😎🤜🏼 trying to help
I appreciate that, thank you!
My garage is exactly the same layout, including the stupid post in the middle. This gives me ideas.
Once again, congratulations!
That floor is awesome
You can get another pole and put it under the beam about two feet from the wall with the garage doors. Then you can remove the old pole in the middle.
The worst that would happen is sagging in the first couple of years. If that's the case, then put the old center pole back in.
Solid tip!
Looks great man!
That low ceiling would drive me crazy.
Yea it sucks 😞
Excellent!!
nice video keep them coming love from the uk
Love this!
Should have got rid of all the water under the tiles before putting them down. Also, should have cleaned the floor better and then taped down a piece of plastic and then after 2 days lifted it up to see if the cement lets moisture through. Any on the plastic or leaves a dark mark on the cement and never lay those tiles down as the floor cannot breathe. You will turn it into a bio lab rather than a garage.
It's dry
About time looks great
Looks great
Love it!
Use some of those flooring offcuts to cover that bottom shelf of the rolling cart, shelves etc!
Good idea!
Nice!
The garage looks great!
Thanks!
looks like a garage simulator game upgrade, you leveled up👍 Love it.
Thanks! 👍
Problem Example: 11:12 - 12:12 . Moisture barrier needed between the tile and concrete garage floor. How do I know? I did this without a moisture barrier for part of the garage. It became damp/wet under the tile. Concrete on top became dusty/brittle when I swept it. Even with a barrier...light moisture still showed up but MUCH better.
That’s a yuuuge upgrade. Congratulations
Yyyeessssss
I'd love to see you do a list of your favorite things you've been sponsored by - you've had multiple jump boxes, tire inflators, code readers etc. Are there any that you have found you've preferred over the other?
I use them all! I have them in each vehicle haha. My favorite are the jumper and inflator combos.
Garage looks great man!
Thanks!!
Takin it up a level Matt, lookin sweet 👌 I’ve got garage envy! In the UK most houses have garages barely big enough for a unicycle so you’re blessed with the cavernous size of yours! 😂
I've been told UK garages are tiny. I couldn't do it!!
@@matt13ross it’s laughable bud, until I rebuild it, my house cost equivalent to $830k in freedom units with a 7x15ft garage box! Barely get my mbike and tools in there, no room for activities! 😭
Looks really nice! It’ll be interesting to hear if lying on those bumps (or rolling a creeper over them) is a pain, and if dirt and moisture gets through the joints in time. Looking forward to more videos!
Working in there tonight so I'll update a future video.
So much better!
Looks great Matt! My garage needs some love too. Might’ve given me some motivation lol
Yes, get to work! Haha
Looks good
THANK YOU, AMAZON,!!!!
awesome job!! your garage looks even better now.. what about the entrance/outside floor? that will help the keep the dirt outside
Thanks! Not sure what to do at the entrance.
fantastic. you deserve the nice space
I like the way u delivered detailed work on flooring … as a future recommendation u can install more wall hanging cabinets instead of shelves it will help u keep ur garage cleaner
I'm about out of wall space too lol.
Wow, Matt! That was a LOT of work but it looks well worth it! Great job!
The editing on this, as well, must have been a lot of work, but then, your skills with this makes your great content even more enjoyable.
Thanks! :)
Thanks a ton!
Looks awesome. Flooring and a lift are next on my wishlist. Your garage might be a good candidate for a set of MaxJax or something similar. The Porsches especially are small enough that you can probably raise them to a decent height in there despite the low ceilings.
Don't they go higher than quick jacks?
@@matt13ross they do but not nearly as high as a normal 2 post. Meant specifically for low ceilings but without having to move the quick jacks around all the time and give you more room underneath. They’ve gotten pretty pricey though.
I'll look into them!
Looks great, just need to paint the 2x6 or 2x8 headers above the garage doors !!
Good point!
Come on guys let’s get matt to 200K 🙏👏💯⚡️👍🙌💪😎🔥
I'd be happy with half that!! Lol
Amazing my guy
Thanks!
Great help... I'm in the phase of planning how to re-arrange my own garage
Awesome
Nice job!
Thank you! Cheers!
I noticed those honeycomb style lights in a previous video of yours. Not sure if you had any of the other improvements were in at time of filming it. Your garage has definitely improved for the better though.
I have a deep hatred for posts in the center of garages. They just get in the way of EVERYTHING you want to do.
THEY SURE DO!!
