*(If you don't have a shield) dodge correctly, dodge correctly a lot. Some monster's moves I feel are designed for you to get hit by them if you don't dodge at the right time or direction

First thing you need to know when starting a new game is that you will spend more than an hour in the character creator cause its amazing!!! Loving this game!
Kebar Frost Well I will have a funeral for your lack of creativity. How boring. Now I know why some Hunters look so random and some look like someone put some TLC into it.
Boring? Who cares. There's gonna be a helmet on and you'll be seeing their backs mostly. I know I'm not playing the game to stop and stare at a hidden face.
I still haven’t been able to play this game I work at a hospital and have been stuck with 16 hour shifts everyday but tomorrow is my day off and you better believe I’m gonna be playing this all day
It's a simple one but always make sure your weapons are sharpened at the start of each mission and if you need to take a break from combat then duck away and sharpen, dying risk staying close as you will be vunerable during sharpening.
Another note on the slinger @ number 5 3:45. When you weaken a monster it will sometimes drop a slinger ammo. Pick it up because this ammo will guaranteed stagger the monster when you shoot it with this ammo. Good to prevent them from running away or to cancel some of their attack animations.
Well just one more little advise, be respectful to others players and never pretend you are the greatest hunter in the world, I have see a lot of hunters who kicks you out just because you use a different set of armor, i know sometimes there are specifics ways to deal with some monsters and thats valid but that's not a reason to be mean to others that may not know what are you doing. Also, remember hunter rank is just a number, only means you get across some quest but it dosent represent the true experiense or expertise of a hunter, that is know only when you are in the hunt
Are you blam-ing kidding me? I would most deffinantly consider myself a vet of the series and that pisses me off. This series is sacred to me. One of the few that have not been ruined. Christmas Nightmare Shapiro yeah me to consider a veteran hunter, since monster hunter 2 freedom u. And in all the games i see how many hunters forget to have its feets in the ground, sometime is way more easy to feel powerfull when you take down demigod creatures like the Amatsumagatsuchi or the Gogmasius but it is better to remember, this game is also a community and it is better to have an inclusive one than a toxic one
Another tip is that dodging has invicibility frames. So that 0.5 secs might help if u have the reaction time to dodge if u find yourself in a pinch. PS: you can dodge roars too
+Devil'sAdvocate No, it could probably run it. It's over 75% the power of the xbox one s. So, it would run, but at 720p 30fps with minor frame drops from time to time. They didnt make it for switch because when they started development for MHW, the switch wasnt announced. It was still the NX. Besides, most of the market is on ps4 and xbox one anyways.
THE REAL ARNAV it would run worse then xenoblade chronicles, that game can't even hold 20-25 fps and it is a switch exclusive and a multiplat won't do better without all that optimization for a exclusive game. Saying it's 75% as powerful as the xbox one s i really inaccurate. You can't just measure that they are a lot different and the specs are just on paper running a game is a totally different story
Finally was able to pick it up today. First time playing a Monster Hunter game. Create my nomal nothing like me character. Finds out I have a cat companion which I can make. Goes back and makes my character look like me and then makes my cat Jamie my travel partner.
One extra tip I can give is to not be overwhelmed by the amount of items there are in this game. Focus only on what you need as far as collecting flora, insects, mushrooms, etc... goes. For example, I don't use any of the shooters, such as the bow or the chain gun, so I typically leave any ammo boosting items alone. You can always switch your play style too and if you choose to do so, then you can focus more on ammo types and ammo crafting materials. Take it slow, trust me, this is the first Monster Hunter game I've played too, it is very overwhelming at first, but give it a fair chance and you'll start to realize it's not as overwhelming as you originally thought.
Sometimes its actually better to let them go cause they will probably go to their lair to sleep and that gives you either an easy finish by capturing the monster or any other possibilitiy like planting bombs or attacking with an empowored move so yeah. Be smart.
Just FYI, as you craft more new, stronger weapons, they become more, and more effective on older monsters. That's why most seasoned Hunters, tend to use The Great Jagras, as a test monster for how effective their new shinny weapon will do in actual combat. Also...monster health scales in Multiplayer. That means, there is a reason it takes longer to fight a monster, with four other hunters, than it is to solo it. So fighting a monster solo, with a new weapon, will actually be much easier, after the second, or third, or 100th time. Also...this is THE most important tip for new hunters out there...never...ever...EVER, wake a sleeping monster, in Multiplayer. You waste a double damage, sleep multiplier by hitting it with the weakest hitting weapon in the group. Look at your team...if you have a Great Sword user in the team, he/she will ALWAYS have the priority for the first hit on the monster. Just FYI guys...(wink).
Chiiin Man The last MH game I played was on psp, I love world so far although I'm only a couple of hours in. I keep getting screwed by anjarath though. He's hit with the flamethrower thing through a tree a mile a way numerous times, a rathilos came out of no where and fucked me when I'd finally got it limping. And the two other times I've got it limping it's ran for half an hour with me failing the quest because of the time limit
El cactus de la muerte Oh, you should see HR quests. Not going to spoil it, but there is this one monster who will show up out of nowhere on any map and make your hunt even more of a pain. Carry dung pods... always.
There's so much in this game it gives me headache, it's a great game but all the stuff you have to do and prepare for each fight is overwhelming. Not recommended for anyone who thinks this game is simple and a quick level upper..
This came out on game pass for Xbox, and you have by-far bar-none the best tips video for beginners. Love your commentary and how quickly you hit points without hesitation. I know I'm over a year late, but you've got a new sub for this one. Thanks bro, great vid!
to all those new players: additionally, if you are having trouble deciding what weapon to use, there is a training ground you can test weapons out in. just go up to your housekeeper cat in your in game home and select training room, there you can go to a red box and switch between the weapons, see damage numbers on objects you attack and see the general move sets of each weapon type. it's easiest to see the damage difference if you do this before upgrading your weapons. you can also go to hunter's notes in your menu, and go to weapons to see different weapon moves. though it doesn't show all the advanced moves but there are a lot of tools for more advanced moves on youtube. just search the weapon you are interested in and there should be a guide on it.
This series is completley new to me. Is there a continuing storyline or is the main objective just to slay monster all the time? I just want to understand the title a little bit more.
DixiChannel there's barely any story, and yeah that's pretty much it apart from few harvest quest. The main thing about this game is the monsters, which act differently
Being a Solo player is king of a great thing specifically if you've already played the earlier titles like Freedom Unite where if you can't have someone to help you, just go out there and finish the thing yourself
I actually tried monster hunter world a couple of time ago and I started to like it until my youngest sibling decided to delete it for storage. So I really wanna know that is this game like a really good as just single player, like on the same level as Witcher 3 and other great rpgs
You can also use the slinger to stop monsters from running away or some of their attacks if you use the right ammo. Also dung pods if you need to scare away a monster shoot it with dung and it'll runaway. Really helps if your hunting the raths. Shoot the male and focus on the female because fighting both at the same time sucks. Don't just replay missions for parts if you have an investigation related to the monster you need parts from do that because it can give bonus rare rewards. If you can use you lucky ticket when the rest of your party uses theirs the bonuses will stack. ALWAYS EAT. Trapping a monster always gives you a more carves than killing it especially if you break and sever everything you can.
Game was hyped like a week before and a SHIT ton of people are bandwagoning. (Not against it, but see what happens when things are hyped up) Thankfully the game was worth hyping up because it IS a decent game. There are streamers, youtubers and tons of people in the west that haven't played the game now playing the game after not even touching a single handheld version. All I can say is, it's about damn time.
Yup truly. The game has been going strong/withstands the tests of time for the past 10 years in Japan and is on the popularity charts as Pokemon. I really wished it would hit off successfully in the west, this is the time to make it shine :D
Courage Ekhaguere Decent?? Bro, whether you're a fan or not, Monster Hunter, especially this one, is one of the best games anyone can play. Subjectively, it's good for what it is. Objectively, it's a great game. Just comes down to personal preference lol
Decent, Best, same same lol. Just assuming but not to get the definition of decent mixed up with mediocre or above average. It's a great / decent game for the franchise as it tops everything and is very up to date + has new features for both newbies and veterans to learn (AWESOOOOME) though I wish they didn't choose the engine they ran dragons dogma on. Graphics could have been a bit better but hell, it's good. Can't complain too much. That's my personal nitpick but it doesn't really matter to me cause I've played all the games and have come to adore the series. It is a great graphics update compared to the MH titles we had before, especially the likes of TRI that came out on the Wii so good job.
Been a Hunter since the Psp days. This game is something I've waited for, for so many years, lol. I am glad more people are finding out about MH. I'm glad it's getting the recognition it deserves. I've played em all, and in my opinion, this one's the best.
I have actually found through my years of monster hunter( since freedom to be exact) that weapons suiting you is not always best, sometimes it is better to be very good at multiple weapons instead of being a one hit wonder, for example, charge blade main vs. Dahren Mohran.
I always prefer the dual blade for newcomers it’s easy to use. I’m getting the game next month since I’ve only played MH games on Nintendo consoles. Me and my friends are going to go hunting in our guild
Scubba yeah, but devs rarely focus more on PC game versions. GTA IV & Mafia III are two big examples. That’s one of the many reasons why I switched from a mid-range gaming PC to a PS4 Pro (no fanboyism whatsoever).
My tip even though I'm kinda new is stick to a simple weapon if you get to confused at first, then since you have something to fall on if it's a little hard to grasp a weapon every once in awhile just try one of the weirder but definitely good weapons you have access to
My advice is... DONT GRIND MATERIALS FOR ARMOR ON LOW RANK (THOSE FUCKIN PLATES THAT NEVER DROPS) I SPENT 20 HOURS COLLECTING ITEMS JUST TO FIND OUT THAT THERES A ‘HIGH RANK’ ARMOR, SO NOW ALL MY ARMOR BECOME OBSOLETE. But grind weapons, because your weapons transition from low rank to high rank in a crafting tree.
Don't know about that, I farmed anganath armor and it has proven to be hella useful to kill shit like rathalos in high rank while i farm his high set because of the fire resistance. Also plate dropped like at the 3rd one not even difficult to grind, ended with 3 plates by the time I got the full set.
I wouldn't follow this advice. You will start to struggle if you just have "Bone armor", you'll be getting one shot left and right near mid-end of low rank. I would recommend grinding the biggest monsters of each area. Anjanath -> Lagania/Diablos/Rathalos. Monster hunter is a not a sprint, these games can last 50-70 hours just getting to end game. The thing I would recommend though is to not care about skills in low rank.
I've never played a MH game in my life. But I ordered the Iceborne steelbook edition, and it's arriving today. I suspect I'm going to lose a LOT of hours slaying this beast, pun intended.
Not sure if they changed it for World, but in previous games capturing wasn't always best, some items couldn't be obtained via capping. I'm looking at you, Rathian plates...
Jonathan Silva did they change plate drop rates? I carved two off of a rathian, one rathalos plate and got 3 anja plates. I havent completed the first zorah magdaros quest, i killed both raths in expeditions
Agreed, you want something dead?? Pick the great sword. You want something to stay down?? Pick the great sword. YOU WANT TO BASH THAT FUCKER THAT KEEP ROARING AT YOU IN THE FACE?? YOU PICK THE F***ING GREAT SWORD!!!
One huge thing for gathering or small monster quest is to open the map and set a marker for the scout flies to show you the way. I wasted a good couple hours looking for damn mushrooms until i realized this
so happy that there are all these newcomers picking up Monster Hunter! Hope you all grow to love it as much as I do! I've been playing since monster Hunter 3! Good Hunting!
Scout flies are actually new to the series, in previous monster hunter games you would have to find the monster by yourself without scout flies or prints and mark the monster with paintballs to keep it on the map
In the beginning I thought low rank was all there was... then... DUM DUM DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUMMMM DOO DOO DOO DOO!!!!!! AGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH B-52 PINECONE OVERHEAD RUN
started playing these back in highschool on the psp. been absolutely addicted ever since, but ive been waiting so long for them to come back to consoles (im not counting the Wii) this game is absolutely amazing and i can not recommend it enough
Literally 70% of the game is swinging and missing at the monster and then dodging it's attack's until you happen to get into a position to hit it. But get a group of friends and it's so much fun! Playing by yourself is really, really hard.
I played since psp MH, stopped playing since 3ds era since I didnt own one. Now starting to get back into the series with MHXX and MH world. This helped a lot
I think something that's a lot more important than proper preperation is learning the actual gameplay mechanics. How evading works is just one example. Most of the weapons can not block, and knowing how to evade using I-frames is very very important.
Tip 0: You’re gonna fail, a lot but it’s important to not get discouraged by it as the game gets easier as you progress and get stronger weapons and armor
I with that were true. Every weapon I've seen is at least the size of the user if not double. It just looks really silly to me but maybe I'll still try it.
Dayrahl glad youve seen them. Theyre not all ridiculous in size. Smaller ones are faster/weaker whilst the big beastly ones are the most powerful. I think theres like 14 base weapons but you can modify them into better versions with elemental effects etc. Im not that far in yet but plenty of choices. If you like repetitive gameplay and are patient then give it a shot. Its a fun game just quite a slow experience. Its refreshing!
feel like this game needs a jump button badly, considering you can only jump from walls or cliffs but can survive any height; why cant you just jump onto a monster? The mounting from Dragons Dogma would just make sense, being able to jump from the ground and climb around the enemy, slowing them if enough weight is applied to their legs for example.
This is my fifth monster hunter game and the best tip I can give new player is. Don’t just give up on the game, the monster hunter series is hard to get into but once you’re in its a game you can’t stop playing
Slyme Yup. On PC I'll play this baby at 1080p High settings 60+ fps who knows. If it is optimized i could get better performance. Too bad it'll take another 7 months though. Better than playing a game at 1080p medium low settings at sub 30fps in 2018 though.
rather _Radical unless you have a pro or xbox one x you get to run in 60fps no idea about settings i know res is 1080p unless you choose graphics then its dynamic 4k
for harder monsters, sometimes simply working with three other players won't cut it. communication is so useful. It also makes weaker monster go downn wayyyy faster. "putting down a barrel bomb here, lure it this way". things like that. or "I need to sharpen, cover me".
Ive played every American release, spending considerably more time on some than others, but I would never say I’m good at the game. It wasn’t til 4 that I felt any sort of personal success or progress. Yet, I love the series. It’s the most intimidating game series that I’ve ever liked and been into. I’ll tell you what, I’ve just gotten through the intro stuff and in town for the first time when I watched this video. As a veteran, purely in terms of having put time in the series before, the video has made me a little scared to go in, haha. Progressing always intimidated me before, but hell, so many new things for me to fail at haha. Wish me luck.
Gotta say: for the first time, I Like the German Translation better than the english one. Squade are called Hunting Groups, Bounties are called Raids etc. Fits it better imo
Crackdown really does look like bollocks. They missed the timing on it and now the graphics and entire core just don't seem to hold any weight. The world is destructible! Great, still looks like crap though.
Okay currently about to go against ligana (sorry if that's not right) Up until now everything has been pretty easy. Is there anything in particular I should get
I know all of this but still I watched it because it’s MH and it’s gameranx, my favourite gaming news channel! And also have more videos from Falcon he is the best!
The biggest thing i heard is the dificulties scales up if you play with friends but that it doesnt scale for number of friends so theirs solo dificulty and the 2-4 player dufuculty so if your gunna play with friends bring a whole group
For fresh new Monster Hunter babies only. Pros need not apply.
gameranx 👑
gameranx Thank you so much I rly needed this I’m so confused
Time to undust the ol' ps4!
does falcon have like braces or a lisp?

The cat chef thing. The workers work hard, the head chef only puts a twig onto your meal. Gets all the credits.
It's just that realistic to real life

Tip #0 : You're bad. Accept it then keep playing and eventually you may be not bad
The truest tip 😂
That is the universal truth to life.
Just accept that that for the 1st few hours you'll play like crap
This is the best tip for the game...
Or.... You're bad. Accept it. Instead of spending hours getting good at something the nets you nothing, spend the time on something real.... like curing cancer... or spend time with dying relatives etc. The real world is often more interesting then a video game and that feeling of accomplishment you feel thru hard work and getting good at something hard gets multiply 100 percent when you use that effort and time to accomplish something real in the real world.

I just about closed the video when he compared astera to the tower. I Hated that place.
How is it??? I can't even join my friend because of CUTSCENE RESTRICTIONS?!?!??!
First thing you need to know when starting a new game is that you will spend more than an hour in the character creator cause its amazing!!! Loving this game!
Broliy really couple minutes and done
Broliy I spent like almost 2 hours making my character. And I had tons of fun making them. Jevak Nontiyu Rookie MH.
I usually spend like 2 minutes on character creation, because I always choose 'Randomize' option. I really don't care what the character looks like.
Kebar Frost Well I will have a funeral for your lack of creativity. How boring. Now I know why some Hunters look so random and some look like someone put some TLC into it.

It's a simple one but always make sure your weapons are sharpened at the start of each mission and if you need to take a break from combat then duck away and sharpen, dying risk staying close as you will be vunerable during sharpening.

Monster Hunter is one of those games that I really want to love, but I just can't get into it.
TheUnholyOne soooooo true
Get this one. It's a lot more accessible than ever.
Get a party of friends. It's too much fun idk about playing alone though. This mh compared to the others is by far the best
DreThaBeast - I play solo and its frickin fun.
What would you consider to be your biggest reason for not being into it?
to all those new players: additionally, if you are having trouble deciding what weapon to use, there is a training ground you can test weapons out in. just go up to your housekeeper cat in your in game home and select training room, there you can go to a red box and switch between the weapons, see damage numbers on objects you attack and see the general move sets of each weapon type. it's easiest to see the damage difference if you do this before upgrading your weapons. you can also go to hunter's notes in your menu, and go to weapons to see different weapon moves. though it doesn't show all the advanced moves but there are a lot of tools for more advanced moves on youtube. just search the weapon you are interested in and there should be a guide on it.
Veteran to the series - watched anyway.
Same here
samurizzy yeah, just to make sure this info is right :D
This series is completley new to me. Is there a continuing storyline or is the main objective just to slay monster all the time? I just want to understand the title a little bit more.
DixiChannel there's barely any story, and yeah that's pretty much it apart from few harvest quest. The main thing about this game is the monsters, which act differently
it's fun though, especially with friends. Maybe watch few videos first if you are unsure because the game is not exactly for everyone
For the Scoutflies you can also mark thing on your map so its easier to find the right path sometimes these maps get a little confusing.
"Monster Hunter is great to play with a friend, but if you have no friends."
My life story.
Hey sometimes being solo player is good, you can tell other people what you've done and make proud of yourself
@@jazperruedas8114 Nobody cares because none of my friends play the games I play, except 2-3 games.
I don't know why I clicked, I'm already 25+ hours in game in the first 3 days, I'll leave a like to support the bois tho
EricXDCool those are rookie numbers kid :p
Mean I'm a few thousand hours into the franchise as a whole and I still watched
thats cute
Should i get this game
I’m new to this series and have learned that helping others via SoS flares is a great way to grind for gear
Game was hyped like a week before and a SHIT ton of people are bandwagoning.
(Not against it, but see what happens when things are hyped up)
Thankfully the game was worth hyping up because it IS a decent game.
There are streamers, youtubers and tons of people in the west that haven't played the game now playing the game after not even touching a single handheld version.
All I can say is, it's about damn time.
Well that just means the game is finally getting the recognition it deserves it's about time.
It's a great / decent game for the franchise as it tops everything and is very up to date + has new features for both newbies and veterans to learn (AWESOOOOME)
though I wish they didn't choose the engine they ran dragons dogma on.
Ragey McRageface I always wanted to play MH but was constantly waiting for console release. On handheld it felt.. cheesy?
So people know Xbox squads currently don't work, But you can still play with friends through invites
Jarczy squads works for me
Have you talked to the lady in the gathering hub
Yeh i have, just assumed due to the fact that it didn't work for me and also the tweet from monster hunter world twitter,
Yeah nah, shits broke as hell atm
U have to join through ID if u wanna play with random
I might actually get this game now . Been thinking and forgetting about it for 3 years now
I don't have friends. Wow thanks for reminding me gameranx
11 - PC port is absolutely ages away lol
I feel like console release is like a test subject for the PC port which the devs are focusing on.
Scubba lol keep telling yourself that
Scubba yeah, but devs rarely focus more on PC game versions. GTA IV & Mafia III are two big examples. That’s one of the many reasons why I switched from a mid-range gaming PC to a PS4 Pro (no fanboyism whatsoever).
Scubba Not true but pc will probably have some cool stuff
Take a look at the final fantasy V pc port coming out. The PC port is going to have wayyyyy more than the console release.
Everytime I try to matchmake it says no sessions found
Zim I know how you feel I think matchmaking isn't set up at the moment. Although you can invite friends in. What console are you on?
El cactus de la muerte Xbox
Xbox matchmaking is down saw then post about it last night.
Zim that's a Xbox issue so we are both in the same boat.
well,we all living in different timezone, and the server is worldwide across region, sorry if im wrong,im always online around 8 p.m gmt,
"If you dont have any friends, dont worry theres online matchmaking to help you connect with other players, " this helps tremendously
This game looks so immensely diverse. Can't wait to dive in
Im a veteran since the first game, i still watched this cause this is my favorite game and i think you guys are awesome! keep it up
Step 1: Pick Long Sword
Step 2: Dominate wild life
Or Dual blade 😎
DobieMeltfire not accurate for vets
I use gun lance but wanna use heavy bowgun protoaxe chainsaw basic sword shield long sword kinsec bug weapon that is it
Edgy af
long sword for life!!!!
The whetstone!!! Don’t forget about that! I only learned about it thru a friend, thankfully (whom I demanded get on and explain the darn game to me).
You wanna hear a joke?
Destiny 2
xRobbed HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Hahahah
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Good one!
xRobbed HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HOLY SHIT !!!
?
Fadhriga Bestari Don't HR rush tho
Don't know about that, I farmed anganath armor and it has proven to be hella useful to kill shit like rathalos in high rank while i farm his high set because of the fire resistance. Also plate dropped like at the 3rd one not even difficult to grind, ended with 3 plates by the time I got the full set.
sorta, go for rathian armour at the start then go lagania then that should be enough for quite a while
I wouldn't follow this advice.
5 rules of Monster Hunter...dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge!
I'm a lance main...
Copied comment go get a life
Super Savage Akira FINALLY a recent comment!
@@cazador3863 lmao whats up?
New player here, great guide, ill be rewatching this when the game gets delivered tomorrow.
Xudus 19 what system? im buying a copy from gamestop tomorrow for ps4
XGN TATER ill be on ps4
As a veteran I recommend capturing as many as you can you get better and more rewards
JaBoyKingsley the truth
Not sure if they changed it for World, but in previous games capturing wasn't always best, some items couldn't be obtained via capping. I'm looking at you, Rathian plates...
Jonathan Silva did they change plate drop rates? I carved two off of a rathian, one rathalos plate and got 3 anja plates. I havent completed the first zorah magdaros quest, i killed both raths in expeditions
Ray Blade don't know. I have heard of quite a few people getting a lot of plates, though, so it is possible
Nah Anjanath claws for example dont drop with captures nearly as often as with carves. Always has been like that. Veteran as well.
Congrats on 4 million subs!
Great Sword is best sword
Which isnt a great sword . Its 10x bigger than any great sword
You meant long sword.
AquaDronix I'm personally loving my switch axe
@@withnoname31 you wanna see a single •{[(2312)]}• damage without bombs
Pick the Kinsect Glaive.
Lmao jk pick the Great Sword
One huge thing for gathering or small monster quest is to open the map and set a marker for the scout flies to show you the way. I wasted a good couple hours looking for damn mushrooms until i realized this
This actually looks great. Can’t wait to have this on PC 😂
Jett A Angeles It'll so be worth the wait.
... in 2022
Soon...
Jett A Angeles i have it on the ps4 but i cant wait for it to come out on the pc, some of my friends are missing out because they're on pc
In 4 days
so happy that there are all these newcomers picking up Monster Hunter! Hope you all grow to love it as much as I do! I've been playing since monster Hunter 3! Good Hunting!
How to play Monster Hunter: don’t get hit
Hit it until it dies
A new MH video even on my birthday?? Thanks gameranx👍👍👍
Only watching this because I feel sorry for you dudes posting this so late
Ian Fife late, the game has been out for 4 days, how the fuck is that late?
Wow a list video that actually tells its viewers if its pointless for them, gave it a like cos of that, thanks!!!
I’m 100 hours into MHW
*watches this while rushing through the tutorial*
Edit: about 300 now
Scout flies are actually new to the series, in previous monster hunter games you would have to find the monster by yourself without scout flies or prints and mark the monster with paintballs to keep it on the map
More hunter vid please
I've been eyeing this series since the ps2, but never got my hands on it. Now felt like the perfect time so thanks for this.
Playing by yourself is really, really hard.
... That’s not even close to true, unless you suck beyond belief.
You shouldn’t even swing unless you know you can hit it.
I miss maybe 20-30% of my shots so yeah... positioning and hope your shitty team mates dont trip you when charging for an attack.
Try git gud.
You shouldn't be missing your attacks...
*easy
You mean that playing by yourself is really, really easy.
My biggest tip to people would be hold down your gathering button when mining/carving will make you gather faster.
WHERE MY DUAL BLADE MAINS AT?
Right here Dual blade all day👊
Dual bone hatchets all day
Duel blade and great sword are my two favorites
dead in camp
Playing generations
I played since psp MH, stopped playing since 3ds era since I didnt own one. Now starting to get back into the series with MHXX and MH world. This helped a lot
Anyone wanna play PS4!!!
I think something that's a lot more important than proper preperation is learning the actual gameplay mechanics. How evading works is just one example. Most of the weapons can not block, and knowing how to evade using I-frames is very very important.
Too late
Automatic crafting- turn it on for certain items and as you collect the resources they will be crafted automatically and then added to your inventory
Veteran here. Don't be scared of getting your ass kicked. Learn timing.
Tip 0: You’re gonna fail, a lot but it’s important to not get discouraged by it as the game gets easier as you progress and get stronger weapons and armor
This game looks great... I can't get over the cartoon sized weapons though. Same reason I didn't like Dark Souls that much.
Natsu Dragneel only some of the great swords are epic in size. Some look pretty standard really. Lots of options to choose from :-)
spartanroe not at all ive seen them and they are so oversized its not funny.
The game is set in another world where there are possibly different gravity and weight of stuff and the strength of the humanoids you play.
feel like this game needs a jump button badly, considering you can only jump from walls or cliffs but can survive any height; why cant you just jump onto a monster? The mounting from Dragons Dogma would just make sense, being able to jump from the ground and climb around the enemy, slowing them if enough weight is applied to their legs for example.
#11 Have fun :)
Some helpful tips I’ll be sure to take them on board when I start the Game. New to the series but looking forward to the game and challenge.
Monster hunter word???
world
WORD
This is my fifth monster hunter game and the best tip I can give new player is. Don’t just give up on the game, the monster hunter series is hard to get into but once you’re in its a game you can’t stop playing
pc master left out race again
Console release is like a test subject for the PC port
Scubba nope
Slyme Yup. On PC I'll play this baby at 1080p High settings 60+ fps who knows. If it is optimized i could get better performance. Too bad it'll take another 7 months though. Better than playing a game at 1080p medium low settings at sub 30fps in 2018 though.
rather _Radical i really could care less, enjoy your game in 7+ months
rather _Radical unless you have a pro or xbox one x you get to run in 60fps no idea about settings i know res is 1080p unless you choose graphics then its dynamic 4k
for harder monsters, sometimes simply working with three other players won't cut it. communication is so useful. It also makes weaker monster go downn wayyyy faster. "putting down a barrel bomb here, lure it this way". things like that. or "I need to sharpen, cover me".
What if Monster Hunter worked with a Dark Soul's difficulty.
RANDOM GREATNESS just play one of the other monster hunters
RANDOM GREATNESS so you’re suggesting they make Hell the video game
That is G rank.
RANDOM GREATNESS hahahahahha
Play the first monster hunter. It's hard
Wish me luck.
haha filthy casuals....
CHIPA CHIPA So are you 😂
The Fortniter why would you assume he is a causal?
Wanna bet people watching this are casuals? Not a joke I’ve got 40+ hours since launch.
Nathan P yeah but the video is for newbies
Nathan P not for you
Gotta say: for the first time, I Like the German Translation better than the english one.
Squade are called Hunting Groups, Bounties are called Raids etc.
Fits it better imo
Do a video on crackdown 3
Like so gameranx will see
PhantomDerp 1337 does crackdown 3 even have a release date?
xRobbed it's said to come out in the spring
game looks like it came out in 2009.
bland gameplay.
gonna flop hard as fuck.
There you go.
shitstain001 That sounds opinionated.
