I want this as my first car
It would be great!
Me too! I'm a college student so I am considering this or the Stinger to be my first car since I live in NJ & with the snow & rain we get in NY & NJ I might need a car with AWD
@@NileshR12 good choice kia really stepped there game up this year
This car had me shook the sound of the engine was amazing definitely one of my options for a future car
I am so glad that you are liking this one Diego!
@@RaitisRides I’ve bin watching all your videos the way that you explain them is just perfect !
A new Raiti's ride upload?? Hold up, let me get my snacks for this
Twinkies ftw!! 💪🏾
How does the preformance chip work? And how much would one cost?
Only two questions, can you get that chip as a option or at the dealership 2)what is the difference between this and gt line? Thanks
Hitting the pavement on Race Track? Always a good spot!
Heck yeah Ed!
can’t decide between this or the k5 gt-line currently
That is a tough call. This is cheaper!
BMO totally forgot about that tbh
I was just at the dealership this morning and I test drove the K5 GT line. It had window noise and a terrible steering pull. I told them it's not going to work out then saw the Forte GT fresh off the truck sitting across from us. I drove the Forte GT and it was perfect compared to the K5. Maybe my K5 was just a bad apple? But I don't regret choosing this 2021 Forte GT over the K5. The handling is better and more firm. The K5 is like a Buick ewwww.
@@jcstang8952 damn that’s not the first time i’ve heard that about the k5 so this definitely just helped make my mind up lol, i’m shocked tho
@@slowedleaks4434 hey think of it this way, you save a lot of money and you get a sportier car. I consider this Forte GT a lot more sporty than the GT Line K5.
Great review, Joe! I think I prefer Forte GT over Civic Si because Kia have way better looks. Might get one in future!
Agree
The KIA brand still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but it shouldn’t. They’ve really stepped up their game. As a Honda fanboy and a Civic Si owner, I think Honda has some things to learn from KIA for the 11th gen Civic. I especially love the steering wheel and old school handbrake.
I actually had a similar chip in my Veloster! I can't believe I didn't guess that.
What type of transmission it has?
And how much fully loaded?
I haven't researched but if it's true but the whole Kia line up (especially the forte) needs that amazing redesign with the K5
Raiti is reading my mind!!!! I’m literally looking for a deal on this car! The content is always fire 🔥
I am so glad that I can bring it to you!
I picked up this exact car last week. Was able to negotiate it down to $19k! But where can this race chip be found?
Great review my dude
Stock to stock. Forte GT and Civic Si = Same performance numbers.
I just bought as we speak a 2022 forte gt.. you think I did a better option than a civic or a corolla?
Love my new Stinger, but this thing is sick!!!
Forte GT GT2 Package is where its at. Heated and cooled seats, improved stereo, remote start is an ad on. Only available with the 7 speed DCT. I have heard some bad things about the Hyundai/ Kia DCT, but hopefully by now they have worked out the kinks and make it a smooth operator.
I like the way that you think!
Thoughts on 2019 Kia Stinger engine fire issues? Batch problem or a larger issue waiting to explode (no pun intended)
I have that exact car, minus the extra horsepower. 😎😎The wheels and brakes are OEM, did he have to upgrade the suspension for the extra horsepower?
What's that performance upgrade named? Would like to get one for my gt
I bought a Kia Forte GT 3 weeks ago in gravity gray! It's also my first car and I only got my driver's license a month ago haha! I love it and love your videos Joe! Now how do I get that race chip like Dylan?
Racechip.us. Hope that helps!
@@adsmith12345 Thanks Dylan! I'm a proud Forte GT owner just like you haha. I will look into making this upgrade. It seems like a great idea!
Good review like always... When you get a chance review 2021 BMW X3 M40i
Which race chip system?
Where do I get this specific chip?
I have race chip, sxth down pipe, ypipe exhaust, injen intake, run 93 octane, 6 speed manual. The last time I ran the numbers 252 hp 270 lb tq not bad for a 1.6t
Did you have to switch spark plugs ?I plan on getting racechip soon I just ordered takeda stage 2 intake
I'm thinking about buying a Kia forte gt for a tuner car but also a daily driver. What are the cons for that chip mod? Are there any risks for the piggy back system?
@Ed Findlay sure makes sense... What is a safe Horse power range for this motor without any internal mods?
I guess I was also asking what are other cons? Lower range, burned out spark plugs, etc... And I'm trying to determine how safe this mod would be on a daily driver?
I think the best thing to compare this to the Si is no rev hang on the manual version
Who makes the racing chip for this Forte GT? ?
Sounds like a great option if it really increases the performance as much.
Racechip.us
@@adsmith12345 hi Dylan is that racechip GTS? I have Elantra sport and wonder if i should get the RS or GTS chip.
Jacob Martinez hey Jacob, it’s the GTS chip with the app function!
The Forte Koup was alot cooler imo. Wished Kia didn't axe the coupe.
But the 2016 Koup has the same 1.6L so is the piggyback for this available for the '16?
How would this come along next to a 5th Gen Camaro SS
His comment about the turn signals is a trip. I could see that being a problem. Totally. Interesting
Thanks my friend!
Where can avail the race chip.. And brand pls
That is a great question.
What are the details on the chip? What brand?
I have the same exact car, any way I could exchange contact info with the owner to ask questions about the racechip mod?
I have a 2019 Elantra Sport which is essentially the same car and it is endless fun times drive. Anyone know where I can pick up one of these sport chip piggyback systems?
That is so very true. I will reach out to Dylan!
Following
You cannot use the same chip for your elantra, your compression ratio is lik 9 something. Forte gt and veloster turbo are in fact the same motor due to compression ratio's of 10
John K which chip exactly is it?
Love these types of cars, I’ll be looking for something around that price range (used) in a few years
Your best video ever!
(I might be a little biased)
