I love the Stinger, but the price tag is a touch high, and running and maintenance costs are high, too, especially since they stopped offering the 4cyl version in Canada. @@fredbrochu8322 Especially since the new entry level stinger is now supposed to come with the same 2.5 turbo engine. They say 300 hp for the Stinger version as opposed to 290.
The reason that the "performance" version of the K5 doesn't offer AWD is the same as Toyota's and Nissan's decision not to offer AWD in the V6 Camry or the VC-turbo version of the Altima. For some inexplicable reason dealers object to having the most expensive trims of mainstream midsize sedans sitting unsold on their lots until they're finally sold at a steep discount. Toyota says that fewer than 5% (!) of Camrys are sold with the V6 engine. That amounted to about 15,000 sales in 2020. If adding AWD to the V6 Camry increased sales of that model by 10% (a ridiculously optimistic estimate), that would amount to 1500 sales. It ain't worth the investment. Period. And extrapolating that to the KIA K5, with far fewer sales it makes even less sense.

@@jissanhuq3792 from what I've heard Kia doesn't like people using that alternate "K" logo since it's a limited use thing over in Korea. The "E" badge is very specific for the Stinger and the only logo used in Korea, Kia USA seems to be OK with people using that one but they don't like how people try to "hide" the fact that it's a Kia model like there is something shameful about it. I drive a 2015 Optima and havnt rebadged anything but I'm looking forward to the switch to the new logo, its a nice refresh over the current logo that has been around forever.
@@Yukikazehalo that k logo is terrible Anyhow looks like a Lexus rip off
@@jissanhuq3792 I thought it looked cool. Looks a lot better than the boring block letters of KIA
