Children, be quiet and listen to this. This is real music played with real instruments. Maybe you can learn real music. Just seeing them play at their age still gives me hope that the human race can survive. Thank you so very mush for being part of my life. I feel even blessed myself for taking part and growing up with your music.
Yes they should know a band can sound amazing and legendary without autotune
Right on brother
Amen!!!
This band more than rocks they fly!!!
They sound better than ever! What a legendary cosmic song!
40 years later... Still better than anything on the radio today. Canadian Classic.
You got that right!
for sure!!!!
I really really love this tune who with me😊😊😊
Down here, in Kansas, when this comes on the overhead music, all of my work stops. I mean, I don't answer the phone, till it's over.
Childhood music from the first album I ever owned.
YEA!!!
DAMN! AWESOME!!! Brings me back to the good ole days! Thank you!
Unbelievable how good they sound still after four decades, blessings !!
Tell ya I story.
1970, I was 18 at U. Vic doing my 1st year in trumpet. Lighthouse is coming to the campus. So we all got tickets. Opening act was Bill Henderson and Claire Lawrence. I'm pretty sure it was the first time they went under the name Chilliwack. First time Bill played Raino.
The Lighthouse plane was almost 3 hours late getting into Victoria.
Everyone just waited patiently and good vibes all around. Lighthouse got there about 10:30 and played their entire 3 1/2 hour set; like their NY live album. They gave it everything they had and I'll always be grateful for that wonderful night! rip
Such a great song and kick ass performance!
Omg! I can't believe how amazzzzzingly unchanged their sound is, absolutely just like the original recording. Cheers to Canadian talented musicians.
A Monster of a Song.
I'll never forget sitting on my dad's shoulders 9 years old University of Western Ontario London watching these guys while they were still youngish. Still sound just as awsome
Memories of happy, fun times. I miss happy fun music.
Me too. I'm 71. ( Hitchin" A Ride? ) lol... ride, ride , ride. lol
Now We have Bumpin, Smooth Jazz! Which is Even BETTER!!! Why? Because it's New Material! Very Upbeat!
Geez I used to put quarter after quarter in the jukebox at the pizzeria back in the 70s just to hear this song. Loved those bands with strong horn sections back then.
Man, what a tune. And they still got the vocals. WOW!
Im soooo impressed!!!
Thats not Bob McBride, he died after a tragic life....
SIR!!!, YES SIR!!!,!😜👍👍🎶🎶🎶😃😃😃😃😃🌹
Amazing Vocals!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the best from Grimsby Ontario Canada
Im literally crying thinking of my older brothers that have passed 😢 they would play this all the time
Bittersweet memories.
Inside you, they're still here...and all so proud
Wow!
GREAT "LIVE" RECORDING !!
Awesome. what a powerhouse jam!
My brother returned from 'Nam"... and HE told me of this group!... I was only 14 at the time, so what the hell would I know? I'm sure they've been compared to Chicago, which is a shame because it too so long for them to be recognized....maybe the hall will amend their ways and add this Phenomenal Group! They are f**king AWESOME!!!
I miss the strings, husband told me they just were amazing for pop
awesome! and a big kudos to the lead singer... he does a great Bob McBride....cheers!
Well, I’m 66, and Canadian! Almost, almost close to Skip! Well done!
Just enjoyed them last night in Sarnia!

ONE FINE MORNING......RIP Skip Prokop
RIP Skip, such a sad loss, thank you for your great music
Mayor John Tory tweeted that May 14 is Lighthouse day and this song must be their signature song and what a theme song for Toronto -- so inspiring and positive!
Awesome!!!
Still a great song!
My favorite song, love the jazz-rock sound and amazing vocals, also I saw them in 1971 at my high school, MDHS, and I sneaked into the school auditorium to see them, RIP Skip and Bob
These great grand fathers still kick @ss as musicians. Their energy. The guitar part is relentless.
Longevity seems to exist in those Canadians for some reason,.... remember the song..... Pretty Lady..... long time ago.....
One of my all time favorite song. Even to this day the current generation has to rock to this song. Came out towards the end of my senior year in high school and kept me going in my early college days as well. Just heard it once again recently on a local college FM radio station and can't stop playing it. Was one of the early songs that incorporated all the various musical instrumental sounds. Hey these guys can still perform at a high level!
this is real music it stands the test of time
One of my fav tunes ever! When ever that came on the radio I was lit up. Didn't know the group was Canadian. Good stuff. Love that song.
In spite of the fact that I don’t listen to the radio as much, certain songs often “pop-up” in my mind as was the case with “One Fine Morning”. These guys blew it out of the park!!! Amazing musicians ♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍
For being over 40 years later, these guys STILL sound great!!!! Love this live version!!! And is it just me, or does the lead guitarist look a LOT like Alan Rickman, the late actor? This song is so much better than any "song/singers" they have today!!!! Keep rocking, fellas!!!
The lead singer still have a great voice. Bravo man.
Not the original singer. Although he does a great job, sounds alot like Bob McBride.
Killer Song...….Still have the mono 45 I had as a 12 year old kid
Love this song when I was a teen and still do.
One of Canada's finest exports!!!
Song still kicks butt all these years later! What a thrill!
Song reminds me of driving along the beautiful shore of Lake Superior during the summer time...the world was positive, full of light and positive+energy !
The great days of the 1970's in Thunder Bay, "Land of the Sleeping Giant...." ;)
POWERFUL UNSTOPPABLE EVERLASTING JAZZ-ROCK LOCOMOTIVE . . . KEEP THAT SAME OLD FEELIN' !!!!!!!!!!!
Great musicianship! Singer is awesome!
I remember sitting with Bob McBride & Skip Prokop in the Gasworks in Toronto getting drunk and listening to Three Dog Night on stage. Good memories RIP boys.
love this update. RIP Rob McBride.
Nobody sings this song like Bob McBride. He was the Best!
What a cookin band, jessuzz ! And they always were.
What a fabulous way to relive my youth on a Saturday!
Am with you man. Is now Sunday for me.
Lighthouse played at the largest ever concert (six to seven hundred thousand attended) the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival.
They also played at Nathan Philips Square the same year.
The Lighthouse cover of Eight Miles High is the best ever IMHO.
I watch this video almost everyday,it remember me when i was in my 18....
You guys sounds great 😊
Omg! They still have it unbelievable, great group, great song
I saw the original lineup of Lighthouse in Hamilton in 1972 when Bob McBride was the singer and Howard Shore was a member. It was my first ever concert, and thanks to the album Live at Carnegie Hall which was recorded the same year, the memory is vivid. Thanks for sharing this. I'm so happy they are still performing and keeping the music alive!
Was at that concert as well. Rip Skip Prokop
Loved Lighthouse in the '60s...still remember the feeling in late 1970, listening to Chicago Carnegie Hall 4-disc album, when Peter Cetera introduced;
"Skip Prokop...and the Combined Horns of Lighthouse"
Alright, alright...I was, indeed, high...but still...goosebumps
Damn ! The horns and the guitar 🎸 get me every time !! Excellent
The boys ain't lost nothin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Makin Toranto proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A.B.Lucas prom dance band, I fell in love with all of them.
This is amazing! I always loved this song since when I was cruising in my 65 Mustang back then. Great performance! Sounds the same after all these years!
I was cruising Toronto in my '69 Camaro with an 8-track!
Guys listen to Leonid’s Cover of this Song . You Guys Rock amazing!! I might have been with Polydor in the NW US when this was released. I will research. Loved several of your Lps. All great. Thank You for a great song.

Amazing great musicians , sounds as good as it did 100 years ago !
+Bob DiMarzio
Haha!!! Well...it WAS the "last century".....but not quite a hundred years ago!! LOL
Outstanding!!!!!!!! Just like yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!
love it !
This guys sounds great! But Bob McBride was the original singer of one fine morning with light house but unfortunately passed away in 1998 at the age of 51. 😇
my husband covered that tune!! OLD GUYS RULE
I play bass in an old man's band and we too, cover this song. It's always our finale, and probably our most favorite and intense song that we do. Always a crowd pleaser!
Tell your husband he rocks!
Brings tears to my eyes. You never know what you have, until it's gone! Great lineup here with most of the original guys minus Bob and a couple others!
CKLW played the hell out of this. and I listened every damn time!!!
I had to wait till late evening to pick up that station on my AM/Fm transistor radio in Md back in the day. Such great music back then. 60’s & 70’s music was the best. I like some 50’s & 80’s but todays music is mostly crap. I have this song on a 45 . I kept all my records. I have a lot o CDs too of all this great music plus music on my iPod. And my parents said we would sorta out grow it. Lol. Never!!! I need my tunes.
I was right there with you.
...the Motor City
DAMN RITE!!!!!! As a Detroit area native, I had my exposure 2 this song, "Pretty Lady" (which I thought was a Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose song), & "Sunny Days" ruled the airwaves on CKLW (800 AM). Brings back LOTS of memories.
@@angelaackerman8934 We listened to CKLW every day in the tobacco kilns of Southern Ontario. Kept us sane.
sounds great -wow
RIP - Skip Prokup
