David Van Voris Great Video I think you did a great job welding aluminum for the first time and I think that Intercooler looks absolutely incredible and Happy New Years Eve to you your family and all of your Subscribers
I'm 61 years old and have a Tig welder coming tomorrow, I've never Tig welded before. It's never to late to learn. First thing I want to weld is a bung on my charge pipe, thin aluminum. I do like watching what works to get an idea of how it's done. Thanks
Absolutely, before you make a weld get it set up and make a pass over it without welding it with your hands to see if it's comfortable. Also, you'll get better with time. Looks to me like you're moving a little to slow and making your welds to thick. For but joint welds where you haven't beveled the material for more penetration that you are welding you can move faster and make the welds lay down lower and smoother.
Dude that Intercooler is huge!
All this to beat a stock demon is crazy
Except for the nitrous you added

Awesome info! Thank you
Don’t rush aluminum let it get some heat in it keep the puddle nice and wet, don’t treat it like stainless just go nice and slow!!
Awesome thank you!
am waiting for mani vid
How many htz you using bro?
What turbo headers r u using my G? And did you kept the ac and components?
Yes and these coyote-direct.myshopify.com/products/2018-f-150-stainless-turbo-header-kit-t4?_pos=4&_sid=40afdd270&_ss=r
I'd use a 180 on those lower pipes. Give you less welds.
I was going to but it kicked at a weird angle
Link to the coolant tank ?
