- I know I know, it's been a bit, again! But this video you're seeing now is the process I took to install an On3 Single Turbo kit on a customer's Gotta Have It Green 5.0 Mustang. Hopefully this can help some out there tackling this project, because the instructions from On3 are much less than stellar

I have the On 3 twin kit & my car is the exact same color. LOL!!! Built engine, & transmission, Strange axles, K-member, Welds all the way around & has run a best of 8.42 at 165.
How much did the turbo and all the necessary equipment cost for this build?
Good video man. Would like more coyote videos
I don't think you're oil feed and return are clocked properly 🤔 aren't they supposed to be at 12 and 6 o clock?
We actually corrected it since filming
Where’d you get that mount in the cup holder?
You are GOD SENT for this video! On3 instructions suck! 😂
Glad I could help! Hit that subscribe!
Curious to know what is done to the other 3 o2 sensors

Which port in the intake manifold did you use as vaccum to supple to the distribution block?
@@julez1787 one in the front teed
Thanks
Sick, Im about to do one on my personal coyote, has 105000 miles on it but it should be fine right? Ive seen some high mileage coyotes out there
Let it eat!
Is this how the whole kit came?! Someone just tried to make me buy the ON3 single turbo kit and I was about too. I don't think I will just because of how much they may charge me for labor.
It’s pretty labor intensive and not for beginners to instalm
@@MattSoppa I'll stick to my gut... Supercharger haha!
@@liyahalex7308 yeah that’s mostly just like a manifold install but even after all this work I’m considering turbo for one of my cars!
@@MattSoppa IN THE ARMMMMMS OFFFF AN ANGELLLLLL! HAHA Couldn't be me. I'm poor as is and I don't need my tuner fucking me more on the price.
How long did it take for install? I'm just about to do mine this weekend.
I picked at it over months on the side. I’d say at least 30 hours mainly because the instructions are shit and did a fuel system
@@MattSoppa Nice nice so a full weekend is what i'm looking at thanks!
@@MattSoppa where can I find a list of tools required?
What a nightmare install. Def not easy for servicing.
It’s not that bad. I have the t6 kit and race my car every weekend. I service it just fine after racing every weekend.
Been thinking about switching to this kit from my Paxton setup. Dosent seem bad really, did the ecu and fuse box have any problems with the heat? That’s the only spot that looks a lil sketch to me, other then that it dosent seem too bad for what it is.
Doesn’t seem to be. He’s been street driving it a lot and taking some kills
i have a question, i’m thinking about getting the same setup, does it come like a regular style exhaust and you have to add the bumper style exhaust or does it just automatically come with the bumper style out the box?? cause i wanna run the setup but i don’t really dig the bumper style instead would like to have my xpipe and my cat back, etc
On3 has both options
This was dope
are you supposed to retain the factory resistor?
What resistor?
@@MattSoppa the factory radiator resistor in the fan shroud. U don’t use it here
@@Hardwaretuned Correct, I tied the trigger wires together for both speeds so both fans will come on
Did you have to delete ,,windshield washer bottle " ?
Yes
@@MattSoppa Did you find any good place to move it , or do you just run without it ? Btw thanks for reply 🙂
@@RRninja-jq6lp customer runs without it. AZ life
Did you have any trouble with headers touching the ground / rubber boot on alternator
Yes. Has to delete it
@@MattSoppa delete what the rubber boot ? I’ve heard some guy said he trimmed the plastic around it and rotated it I literally had the install complete and had to pull everything back off I’m trying to come up with some solutions for tomorrow when I work in it
@@derekaragon970 yeah, I just remove the rubber
@@MattSoppa ok I keep popping the main fuse on the positive battery cable every time I try and connect the battery do you think I have a short some were or could that be from exhaust touching the rubber / ground ? I extended the MAF sensor wiring and wired up the new slim fans ? thanks for all your advice to it’s much appreciated
@@derekaragon970 sounds like you have a major short to ground on a positive cable
