My FAVORITE part of this story was told as a footnote. That is the part of Ed's "artistic interpretation" of the rules for Car Trek. I know it is a story that has been told already, but it is just so entertaining. Thanks Ed, & VinWiki for the entertainment!

I was curious about the Car Trek deal for the 599; the details were sketchy to say the least when you explained to Freddie and Tyler how you came in "on budget". Thanks so much for this installment to (sort of) flesh out the details on how that deal worked!
There is a dark blue on two-tone (Blue leather/Gray Suede or Vealour) 1991 Diablo here in Canada with a sketchy/weird history, I will have to find the VIN on my old phone of it. The car's exterior was modified to look like 2001 6.0 as well as the VIN # scratched to make it appear to be a real 6.0 2001 on paper (even though it was clearly a 1991 MY) in order to be imported from the Middle East (from what I was told at the time). This was a number of years ago. I have a ton of pictures I will have to comb through.

There is heaps coming out of Australia to the u.s. with supras and Skylines at the moment. I know of at least 5 people who do this with the vins pushing over 100 cars each to the US a year
I imagine this has been mentioned before but for cartrek 8 or something like that what about doing a porsche themed one on a budget of sorts . And if you want to do the lemon version , you could consider doing a lotus branded cartrek aswell.

I remember when those Diablo's were new. I was driving a cab at the time. The first Diablo I saw was a yellow one. I was distracted and drove into it thereby tearing off a fender and crunching the door. There ended my cab driving career😔
I live 90 miles south of Ed, I think there are some really sweet questionable vehicles available down here too...I love it...

Hey everyone, kinda need some quick advice here if possible. I'm looking to buy my first car and I don't have a ton of income (I'm 16). I'm interested in a Subaru WRX, BRZ, Mustang ecoboost, or Camero. I want a manual. Which would you guys recommend for as cheap as possible!?
P.S. I live in New England, a very snowy area and therefore I'm leaning toward the WRX's all wheel drive.
