With the black honeycomb grid, you're essentially killing the path of the diffused light to the sides. Narrowing the soft light so it doesn't affect the background, sides, etc.
What’s the difference between the sizes? Will they create more light if it’s bigger? Is 18 inch 22 inch or 35 inch better for filming shorts and films?
Hi mate. I have a white wall behind me too which is quite close due to a small room, I get lots of spill and shadows, does a black wall help in a big way ?
The audio in this one is not good. Overly compressed and irritating to the ears. I know you are a video/lighting guy but this audio quality is borderline unlistenable.
Quick and straight to the point ! No BS. Big thanks !
Thank you! It's quick, clear and very informative! I'm checking out with one now 47inch. 👍
Great information!
Thank you for putting out this video!
Thank you! Quick and good! 😀
Thank you for sharing this.

thanks mate. Will get one. Cheers,
Thank you, my light came with a honey comb but I've never used it :)
Finally, my doubt is cleared thanks, mate✌️
No problem at all, glad it helped! 🤗
Not really a honeycomb pattern, but great video! btw this is the same way grids for sniper scopes work
For dance video worm or cool light to choose for key light
Thanks but does the grid give harsher light then?

do you recommend grids for overhead filming
Honestly I don’t think you would see any difference especially for your water colours. I checked out your channel, you do amazing work!
@@creatorlife8142 😻 thank you so much

Im planning a YT channel and wondering if you have tips on how to avoid this?
