I'm not trying to make my videos look like SFM. I'm more into Aardman's stopmotion style. And the way of animating for gmod and sfm are different, so my stopmotion skills would be rather hard to apply in SFM. About the "easier" part - It depends on your laziness and patience. Ofc, the inpatient person will make shit even in SFM. But, yeah, gmod takes more time to make videos, but I love spend that time in gmod - making sort of good gmod videos.
I can't more specific. in \Steam\steamapps folder open "team fortress 2 content.gcf" with GCFScape. (.gcf is like .rar) And extract the "sound" folder somewhere else on your pc.
In gmod13 (the latest version) you have to press "Games" in "Q"-menu, now select TF2->Player->Items (for hats) and TF2->weapons->c_weapon (I think it's C_weapon, search around.)
Watch yourself. Try to pose yourself and watch where the limbs are. Same thing with animation, first do it yourself and, again, watch carefully how your legs/hands/whatever are moving.

The problem with the first one is it makes too much sense, i saw so many opportunities for something funny, like if soldier ate the trumpet or sniper exploded, it was so slow paced and a bit unimaginative, that's all.

I'm really saw-ry. I really do. But one of my projects, which was supposed to be 2 minutes long turned into some "epic" 8 or 10 minute machinima :V
