This doesn't synchronise, it simply imports. What's the point of importing it when it's not automatically synching afterwards.

It is not working. Google is just importing Outlook Calendar. Google is not synchronized. When I insert new event in Outlook, It is not showing in Google.
I found it only works on phone and you have to make sure Outlook app allows it to synch. Then you can add your outlook calendar to Google calendar and it'll update. Works in both directions.
Sadly never works via computer, only via phone. No idea if works on iPhone. Mine is an Android.

HELP PLEASE!! It shows up fine but nothing updates. When I make any changes on outlook it doesn’t show any of the changes? I waited over 24 hours but still no update?
it's not updated, been 5 min. but still looking to know the how often outlook updates to google calendar.
It adds to the Google calendar just fine, but never updates when I change anything on my Outlook calendar. It's basically not a sync but a one-shot copy.

Note: The imported calendar is a static snapshot. To update it, you need to subscribe to it or repeat this procedure to import a copy of the most current version of your calendar in Google Calendar.

The only issue is: this does not sync automatically. When there is a change in outlook calendar, it is not reflected in google calendar

Hello, I went ahead and synched my Outlook Calendar into my Google Calendar, however, when I add new appointments on Outlook, they don't transfer over. Is there any way that it'll automatically update?

Hi Nick this was very very good thanks. One think though all the outlook events are shown in google calendar but not copied in google calendar. Currently with your teaching I can see all the meetings, but they are not copied in the google calendar. I receive bookings, as I am a therapist, and all the Google entries are read by Timely App as it checks for a free slot. Currently until I manually copy into google calendar TIMELY cannot see them even if I can. Is there any way to have, not just the visibility, but to also copy them automatically? Many Thanks

Wait, it isnt auto syncing to google calendar... how do I fix it so it syncs to calendar?
You can do that on your phone. Goto calendar settings. It shows your calendar name. Click on that and enable the synch button.
@@srinivasyn1 That does nothing. No sync at all. Right now safer bet is using the html-link instead and refresh the page in Chrome everytime you want to see what have been added to the calendar. At least that is updated correctly.
For that you'd need a tool like phw198.github.io/OutlookGoogleCalendarSync for true synchronisation.

Great solution! I tried to do that with MS techs a few months back and they created some elaborate routine in MS Power Automate, but it failed after 2 months. This is super easy and it works! Thanks for this video! :)

Should the synchronization be performed on both sides? Meaning if I create a meeting in Outlook, will it be visible in Google Calendar? For me, it doesn't seem that the sync takes place on both sides.
The reason I'm asking is because after using this guide, I noticed that Google Calendar is overcomes Outlook. Meaning when I create a meeting in Outlook - it doesn't show up in Google Calendar, But the opposite does happen, a meeting created in Google Calendar does appear for me in Outlook .
Where can it be set that the synchronization will take place on both sides?

This does not work. All done exactly as explained but when adding a new appointment to outllok calendar, it does not show in the google calandar

The only problem with this is that it only provides a snapshot of your outlook calendar. It will not sync any future updates. I have scoured the internet to the brink of insanity to find a way to sync Outlook to Google calendars that will update as new events are schedule to absolutely no avail.

Little late to the party, but hopefully you're still checking this. I've done this and it originally did synchronise. But... when I input new items into Outlook Calendar, it's not populating on Google Calendar. Any advice would be appreciated

Adding it was successful, I added my outlook calendar to google but when I make changes in my outlook calendar, the changes are NOT reflected in the outlook calendar in google. This doesn't seem to work at all. I followed all these steps and although the Outlook calendar is appearing in my Google Calendar "Other Calendar" section, no content is visible from my Outlook calendar. Anyone experiencing this problem?? Is it a glitch with Outlook?

The title of this is misleading. It doesn't 'sync'. You're just importing the current events - new events and changes don't 'sync'.
They do sync but it can take between 12 and even more than 24h. This is a Google thing as it does not ping the Outlook calendar that often and this setting cannot bw modified at the moment. You can alternatively use the default Calendar app on a Mac or its equivalent on a Windows computer and log in with all the accounts you need.
