Sir, I have watched a lot of your tutorials and trainings and every time I click on your videos I repeat this phrase with you " Hi every one Kevin here today … " 😀 Thank you.
I believe the best message for customers out there is you don’t need to adopt copilot for every user. Identify the key scenarios and start with few users. Based on that you can decide who will really benefit from that investment. Even Microsoft acknowledges this approach.
Hi Kevin, thank you for your this video as your insights and detailed walkthroughs are always incredibly helpful and informative. I have a suggestion for a future video that I believe would be very beneficial for many users, including myself. Could you create a tutorial on how to use Copilot to take the content of a meeting, such as meeting notes, and seamlessly add it into a draft email response? Additionally, it would be great if you could explore the different options for using Copilot to integrate content across various Microsoft 365 applications. Your expertise and clear explanations make complex topics much more accessible, and I’m sure this topic would be no exception. Thank you once again for your fantastic content. Looking forward to your next video.
That’s a great question! It really depends on the company and their policies. From my perspective, I’d welcome it - if you can effectively use Copilot during an interview, it shows you’ll likely be just as efficient and resourceful on the job, as long as all the responses are truthful and represent work you've actually done. It could be a great indicator of how well you'd leverage tools to stay productive at work.
@@KevinStratvert I don't agree. There are other ways to show how engaged and creative you are with new technology, such as assessments. I believe interviews should be authentic. I respect your opinion though, and understand your thinking, I just don't agree on this. occasion.
@Kevin Stratvert, my name in the email display on the cloud Outlook mail appears in all capitalized letters. How could I change it to appear as the First letter capitalized and the following lower caps? Also, is there a way to change all caps first and last names on my organization's Microsoft individual account to a lowercase (I suspect it has to be done by the IT or Admin)? Thank you, sir.
Hey @kevin is there a limitation in Copilot-Outlook? I am asking to list all emails that I've received from a specific person (which I have more than 40). Copilot lists only 10....
Hi Kevin, is there a website or software or database to get bulk OWA leads or maybe there is a keyword or boolean to use and get bulk OWA leads from search.
If only! Maybe in the next update, Copilot will come with a ‘Bake Cookies’ command. Until then, looks like we’re still on our own in the kitchen. But hey, if you need a recipe, I’ve got the secret Kevin Cookie Company recipe ready to go! 🍪
It's not true that you have to use the old version of Outlook to be able to use Copilot. It works just fine in "old" desktop version for me, although the option to schedule a meeting with Copilot is missing in the old version. And perhaps some more options is missing. That I don't know.
Your presentation of the topic is great as always. I would love to see more update videos of new features of microsoft products. Unfortunately, Copilot is still a long way from what the name suggests. I'm using it since a few weeks at work and it gives the impression of a beta - it can't create content, can't execute taks, like task planning and it can't manipulate the content of PowerPoint, Excel etc. Pretty little capability for a lot of money per month. Sorry to say that but Microsoft is disappointing across the board here.
I totally understand where you're coming from - the cost of AI can add up. Microsoft is aiming to deliver powerful AI tools that save time and increase productivity, which can be especially valuable for businesses and individuals who rely heavily on their tools. It's not always within everyone's budget, and hopefully, we'll see more pricing flexibility or promotions in the future.
@@vadymvedmedenko6898 No I do see the point and that is why I am considering it. The ROR is what I am thinking about because it really depends for what I would use it for. As of right now I use the free Bing but I might bite the bullet and give it a shot for the Office version.
Frankly, in my experience, copilot is for some reason much less effective in carrying out tasks compared to ChatGPT. So you’re not really missing out on much even with the free version of ChatGPT4o. Meeting summaries is nice for sure. But it stops there at the moment.
The new release is painful, for example it is not possible to insert in a email a link the intranet path where a file is stored, instead of having to attach it to the email. I might not even want to use sharepoint.
I get where you're coming from! In my experience, Copilot worked mostly smoothly and really helped streamline tasks, but I did notice that the phrasing of prompts can make a difference in getting the right results. There were a few instances where I had to tweak how I asked something to get the best response, so it's not always perfect. However, with a little practice, I found it to be pretty reliable overall. Hopefully, it will become even more intuitive over time!
You did not mention that it is a paid subscription service. AI is a marketing scheme to make more users buy Microsoft products since they can not come up with a useful product anymore.
Overrated in my opinion Its sad no monthly subscription to test it.. Say a lot about the product Don’t see much difference from chatgpt of copilot web Probably security but real business value is low

12:04 could copilot automatically create a task assignment to the sender based on the task that it committed you to in the generated email reply?
Thanks for the great content as always fantastic
Thanks a lot, Kevin, these are great tips for teams and Outlook. I'll try them all.
In the future, they think it is better to install Windows Pro on PCs for all these improvements.
Look, I don't know why Windows Pro is a little more complicated to use, but maybe at first we have to install it.
It seems logical to me and I will have to learn how to use the pro version
@@Melissalove44 thanks maybe start with that
Once encryption was pro only feature, I have not used Home versions. Also being able to decrapify Windows is a big thing.
Thank you, Kevin!!

great suggestions Kevin, thanks!
Thank you for sharing. This is very useful.

Thanks Kevin as always. Can we use copilot during an interview to help with answering questions?
If you're talking about job interviews most employers will end your interview if you use any assistance like that.

lol how does this make sense?! Can i go to med school using co-pilot to guide me through exams and tests?
Hi, Im using Copilot Chat. If I want to use this features I need to buy an additinal package right?

It would be great if it could transcribe a phone call, does any software do this for in person and phone calls
Heard something about the newest Samsung phones having a similar feature

If you enable transcript everyone sees it/ have to accept you saving the transcript?
